I've fallen in love with this a bit.. The Vactric is done! And despite not being the most powerful thing in the world, it looks and sounds amazing! So, let's have a look!
Fantastic Sam, great classic vintage vac from another Great British Vac company, looks in superb nick !! The bag is in lovely condition which these usually are the first to fade !!
My vactric i just got is cream. Has the original vactric bag! Needs full restoration though. Doing this one Sam has given me motivation for doing this one. Great work as always sam!
What an awesome job Sam, I agree that it would be better to leave it as it is unless the owner wanted complete originality. Myself I’d sand blast it and re spray it 🤣. I’m itching to get a sand blasting unit 🤣🤣🤣
Yea it would have been cool, but as it is it looks better than a bad attempt at a repaint. Doesn't help that I'm crap at painting! Can do brushroll shells and the odd small bit, but nothing big
from where you where going, I thought you were going to use F&G style bag with it for bearings, just use calipers to measure the shaft and the bearing you should be able to find one online easily
THAT IS A BEAUTY!!! Excellent job you did restoring it!

What a great improvement with the motor! Too bad the front bearing won't come off for a closer inspection. 😄
It was, but I didn't want to risk damaging it and never finding another one! Too risky
This guy young Sam truly cares for these machines.
Great video... The ironman vac
Well done for Sebo ing it 😘. It’s like mine and that horrid bagless Goblin we made bagged 🤣
You’ve done a brilliant job on that Sam. I really must get you to do a few of mine
Very nicely done.
Cool!! But, I Haven't Tried It Before.
