This sucks I broke my humerus a few weeks ago from getting cheap shotted in the boards and I don’t know if I’ll be able to play in the biggest tournament for my league

What a scary injury, the same thing literally happened to me a few months ago in roller and had me out the whole season, I had a separated AC joint in the shoulder which looks like what happened here as well. Speedy recovery Brian
Heres this just in case someones not sure what a grade 5 Shoulder seperation is :) Grade 5-Involves tearing of the joint covering (capsule) and ligaments connecting the shoulder blade (scapula) and collar bone (clavicle), and the end of the collar bone (clavicle) tears through the muscle covering (fascia) above it. Results in a large, permanent bump over the top of the shoulder at the AC joint.

@@scooburst plus the dude who got "hit" initiated contact twice before he got bodied. Watch the entire play leading into his injury. If you want to play big boy hockey and throw your weight around that's fine but you might get outmuscled sometimes.

Things like this happen. We all know the risks hitting the rink. It’s unfortunately why I had to hang up the pads. After a few years off, I returned to goaltending only to tear my ankle. Missing work and losing money that my family needs was too much. After I healed I really had to stop myself from suiting up again. I have dozens of trophies setting on my mantle for championships and mvg, and it kills me that I’ll never be out there again. I’m over 40 now so my time would came anyway. I even had a tryout invitation to the Pittsburgh Phantoms before they went belly up. My stories will be exaggerated in the golden days when we all sit around (as all hockey players do). So Bryan, I hope you have a 100% recovery and you’re able to return, however do not risk your future health…
I’ve played hockey in Indy for over a decade and didn’t know ellenberger park was a thing until now. Probably since they haven’t had ice there since 2009
