"What started out as one of the best games of my life turned into a season ending injury. Got cheap shotted into the boards and have a grade 5 shoulder separation. Surgery is on Wednesday this coming week. Prayers would be appreciated. Big thanks to my team and people around me for the help, love and support throughout this time and I’ll be back stronger than ever once I heal. Going to be a long road. What a scary injury, the same thing literally happened to me a few months ago in roller and had me out the whole season, I had a separated AC joint in the shoulder which looks like what happened here as well. Speedy recovery Brian

Heres this just in case someones not sure what a grade 5 Shoulder seperation is :)
Grade 5-Involves tearing of the joint covering (capsule) and ligaments connecting the shoulder blade (scapula) and collar bone (clavicle), and the end of the collar bone (clavicle) tears through the muscle covering (fascia) above it. Results in a large, permanent bump over the top of the shoulder at the AC joint.
Glad you guys have a physician rink side. I feel like some leagues don't and that makes all the difference.
