    This takes "beating a dead horse" to a new level. Geez, how many ways can you be sarcastic about the old vs new weapons.
    After the 500th almost identical quip, it got old.
    I actually love the premise, and the quips would've been very entertaining, had they not repeated the same ones over and over, with only slight variations.

    • @AuthorGuy1
      @AuthorGuy1 29 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      very repetitive. Took some of the laugh out of it.

    • @Reiknar
      @Reiknar 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      This. The constant need to compare what they see with, often dated, metaphors, got old really fast. Didn't make it past Blackwood on the bridge of the alien vessel. By the time I got to the Disco Ball comment, I was already bored.
      The voice reading sounds if anything more bored than I felt, and overall left the impression that both the voice over and the writing itself were AI/ChatGPT generated. Just in case anyone is wondering, "Can AI make quality art?" No, not without constant human hand holding, and even then, humans could just make better quality art without the assistance of AI. Mebe that'll change someday, but not today.

    • @ryukamiken
      @ryukamiken 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@Reiknar Yep. Exactly. AI isn't necessary for creating art but it can accelerate it. It's just that, as you say, it needs hand holding. It's good for concept brainstorming and pre-first draft content generation. Some other AI CAN improve what's already been generated but it still needs human involvement.
      This really should have been proofread and edited before posting up. Probably should have gone through two more drafts, too.

    Well, that didn't go the way I thought it would. I thought that the Relentless would be alone and itself have hybrid weapons stations. That they would synchronize them to hit the same spot with both types at once and defeat the shields which could only be calibrated against one at a time. That's why in Star Wars they had separate shields for kinetic hits. It makes for a bad day when a micrometeor punches a hole thru the ship and vents the atmosphere into space.😅😅😅

Rail guns are mostly line of sight weapons. So anything +20 miles *depending similar height above sea level, terrain…* you could not hit. Unless bullet drop accurately figured. In space. Unless it hits something. Gravity should be low enough it should hit at point of aim, with its full velocity , mass if there was any heat from firing. The -400 F of space should cool it.
