Dear Brig Sher Shah !!.... I belong to a family of senior patriotic veterans of Armed Forces.......... I must say that Jab tak Establishment (Generals / ISI) apni policies change nahi kartin.... Tab tak Pakistan change nahi hoga....Aap manein ya naa maanein, Imran Khan kay against in puray khel mein kahin na kahin Army Generals / ISI involve hain ..... Otherwise aesa mumkin nahi kay ruling party kay 20-25 MNAs sitting Government ko chor kar opposition join kar lein...... Or yeh wohi South Punjab (Seraiki Belt) kay 20-25 Electables hain jo 1946 se ley kar aaj tak Parties badal badal kar Elections lartey hain.... Or Establishment har Government ko in hi paltu Electables (feudal lords) kay through Black-mail karti hai..... Jab kisi ki Government girani ho, ye Electables (feudal lords) apni loyalty change kar letay hain...... Same happenings since Independence and even before 1947...... Ye Electables (feudal lords) or ye humara Bureaucratic System, ye dono angrez ki baqiyaat hain........ Or in dono nasoor ko sirf Establishment (Generals / ISI) hi khatam kar sakti hai...... Yes, General Sahab is living in the country. Unlike many others who left the country after retiring. I wish this government takes his advice on these matters, especially vis a vis TTP terrorism and how to deal with them.

What an intelligent man with clear and candid thoughts.. i don't know how these 40 mins passed and i was so into the interview that i did not even feel a single second bored except that break and wanted to listen more wisdom from. His words touches ones heart.
Guys, the headlines of this show have been running across my screen for a few days, with the name Lt. Gen. so on so, and I totally ignored the show thinking not another General. Today, after a heavy lunch, I fell asleep in front of my PC. As I was dosing on & off and I heard Gen. Tariq Khan, and his talk woke me up. I was so impressed after listening to his ideas that I went back to start of the show. ANyway enough of that drama, I really really Liked this General, and his views. Gen. is an excellent leadership material. I wish Imran Khan would get him on the national team. Gen. Sb I love your ideas, and salute you. You gave a voice to my opinions, and way of thinking. I urge you to please get involved in the politics of Pakistan, I will be your supporter. Arshad Shareef, thank you for moving the discussion from the pile of garbage, Shareef family, Zaradari chore family, Judiciary, and the rest of it. We need to hear from people like the Gen. who have a fresh view, we need new leaders. Thank you for a great guest, and a great show. Watching your show was a breath of fresh air.

An enlightening talk . I endorse the general’s views regarding the Afghans. Right on target !The plan to change the system has been unfurled and presented to the people of Pakistan, as well as the powers that be .I agree largely with the fundamentals .Our in -practice version of Democracy needs to be deactivated ASAP.

both of them. Such big decisions should not be taken on individual level by head of State rather by the Mujlis Shura after comprehensive discussion.

Gen Tariq is absolutely right.He is a son of the soil. He knows TTP very well. Govt must listen to him.

Right now after watching this program, the only person I believe can replace Imran khan should be this man.
General Tariq Khan sounds a very sensible person and is talking a lot of common sense. He should have been appointed Pak Army chief instead of general Bajwa, then situation would have been different.
Bajwa is a God gifted general for Pakistan and his achievements will be long remembered a bridge between politics and military. A unsold general.
@@mike1601dam With due respect, Bajwa took softer approach towards TLP on various occasions and for that reason TLP took state into ransom, latest example is killing of innocent policemen and when government decided to take stronger action, Bajwa intervened and forced the government to do a so called peace deal. That meant releasing of all those who killed the innocent policemen and also those who destroyed the properties of law-abiding citizens.
Also everyone know Bajwa was behind the Platelet drama planned.for Nawaz Shareef who was allowed to escape from the prison. Nawaz, Maryam and various other politicians are making deragotsry remarks daily in their public gatherings against Bajwa, Faiz Hameed and also against the army but due to weak personality Bajwa has consistently shown is given them that opportunity.
There are numerous examples which could be quoted about Bajwa's leadership quality, which has resulted in further weakening of the state and strengthening of all the corrupt Sicilian Mafias and God Fathers.

What a brave and intelligent men
general Tariq is right on his views about TTP demanding sharia law. TTP will find a lot of support not only from public but also within Army. Pakistan is an islamic state but rule of law is not islamic at all. its a critical situation for us. We are polarized, currently we are facing immense force that will shear our society into two side regardless sectarian issues. one will want sharia law and the other civil law/ democracy. unfortunately, our Justice system has proven to be ineffective which promotes the demand of sharia law even more. I honestly dont think we can hold our position as Pakistan being secular democratic country for long. We must go with the flow if we want to keep our country intact in one. public already is sick of double standards of current law for corrupt politician and elite class. WE ARE AT A TURNING POINT THAT WILL SPLIT US INTO TWO IF NOT HANDLED CAUTIOUSLY. Time has nurtured future events for decades.

No doubt, about General Tariq khan's ability, bravery and patriotism. General Sahib is well acquainted with the policies of the neighboring countries and is well versed about the national boundaries too. Speaks truthfully and honestly. The country needs a Head like him. I concur with his views. May Allah give him Good Health and longevity, Aameen.
No form of government (be it presidential or other) in Pakistan or anywhere else to survive and bear fruit in the presence of delayed justice.

And about Afghan Taliban, I’m afraid you’re also stating facts. I’m also beginning to change my mind vis a vis these people. And your right, why should anyone come in between to facilitate our talks with TTP terrorists.
They’re our citizens and we need to engage with them directly. If still they’re not accepting writ of state, eliminate them.

Enjoyed listening to General’s candid views and suggestions. Equipped with local knowledge and having experienced first hand encounter with militants, he’s spot on in his analysis and suggestions, on dealing with these elements. His clarity on the political quagmire, that’s faced with every government that comes through a process, and then tries to rule rather than govern is weak and ready to compromise. He does have some very valid points, regarding national security council vis a vis the current ill fitted parliamentary system, where every thug, criminal, uneducated is elected and decides on the fate of 22 million people.

Arshad thank you such a nice and thoughtful interview. Need a lot of change in our system according to him. Pakistan need one consistent system for twenty years for progress. Parliamentary system is killer of Pakistan. Totally corrupt, uneducated, criminal are in Pakistan parliament. If anyone think we are going forward is big mistake.
