It's really funny to me because the Arizona state bird is the Cactus Wren and the Cardinals where originally from Chicago then moved to St Louis and finally to Arizona never once changing the team name. So, the team name has nothing to do with Arizona at all.
Fact: Truth or Consequences, New Mexico was originally called Hot Springs, but in March 1950, the town's residents voted to rename the town after the radio(and later TV) game show "Truth or Consequences".
I find it funny that it's just called T or C by New Mexicans.

Truth or Consequences, NM is named after the show back in the 50's or 60's i believe and is the only town to be named after a gameshow cause they won a contest, it's a crazy story.
Truth or Consequences is called that because there was a show in the 50s of the same name and they ran a promotion where they’d promote the hell out of your town if you’d rename it Truth or Consequences, and a town in New Mexico did it.
Toronto is the City, Ontario is the Province which is the Canadian version of a state

I always find it funny that every Wrestler from Ontario is invariably billed as being from Toronto lol (Edge is Orangeville, Christian is Kitchener, Trish Stratus is Richmond Hill lol)). Impact/TNA is the one that bucks the trend because one of their main people runs a wrestling school/promotion out of Windsor.

So an interesting thing about the Stone Cold one (I believe my source for this is that animated Story Time series WWE did), but he actually is from Austin, Texas. He just didn't want to be billed from Austin while also using Austin as his surname. He chose Victoria, Texas because to him Victoria sounded sophisticated.

Toronto is by far the more popular city which is probably why they where billed from there instead of their actual hometown

I got all but Hulk Hogan, The Boogeyman, and Brodus Clay before the wager round so before the wager round I had 12 points. I wagered 3 points in the wager and only got Mankind right. So I ended up with a score of 11 points total. My favorite billing has to be Truth and Consequences NM. That is just interesting town name to me. Like at the beginning he himself will sit there and say something about how, "You have to get every bit of it for it to be right and to get the point", then when it’s like not in his favor and he barely has half of the answer, as in only the state and he doesn’t even have like a guess with a city at all, like didn’t even put a city down at all?
It’s just I always love how John seems to try to make the rules at the beginning he said you have to get all of it including the town and the state, but then he only puts the state and tries to talk his way into getting a point for literally only putting the state.
Like going off your own words there’s no way you should even be asking for a point as you didn’t even put a town at all.
