There is no role for the EU or any other foreign entity in this Serbian story. The majority of Serbs are not even interested in the EU anymore since most people can see just how”democratic “ the EU is🤣 international players should buzz off and let the people of Serbia sort out their own problems.

Serbia has always been a democratic nation, though fractured by various external forces who have wormed themselves into the Serbian fabric. Protests over a tragic train station collapse obviously cannot be solely blamed on the Vucic Administration when elsewhere insurance investigators have the final say where the blame lies.....

'always'? Do you include King Aleksandar I , Tito and Milošević during the 80s?

Unlike private insurance claims, Serbian railway station is a publicly owned building and this makes authorities responsible for its safety. Serbian president has given crucial infrastructure renovation contracts to Chinese companies in a secret deal. No public tender, no freedom of information legislation. He even deletes my comments under his posts. I have previously criticised Croatian, Bosnian, Macedonian and Montenegrin authorities and it’s only Serbian president who deletes them.

France has a culture of protest and they do have a unique way of resolving disagreements. France doesn’t have a continuous industrial strike for 5 years, but different people do protest for all sorts of matters that are important to them. In a democracy, right to protest is a human right and people are entitled to it.
