Ahem ahem.. it is my time! (Cutely grabs my notes) Tips from a somewhat pro player! Common twisteds/toons consists of boxten, Looey, Poppy, Cosmo, Shrimpo and Tisha. These toons only have one ability and it’s either active(you can activate it all throughout the round) or passive(it requires certain things to be done before it can activate) Twisted forms of these toons have no ability you just run and hide or have someone distract them for you! Uncommon Toons/twisteds consist of Connie, toodles, Brightney, Finn, Rodger, Razzle and Dazzle, Toodles and Teagen. These toons also only have one ability but they tend to be more useful than the common toons! Teagen can heal herself, Rodger give double the research when you pick up a capsule, Toodles gives you a random effect for 10 seconds, brightney can glow in the dark and mark out twisteds(only in blackouts), Connie can go invisible for 5 seconds, Finn gets a speed boost every time a machine is done, RnD can be fast on odd floors which is good for distracting and they’re slow on even floors but they’re fast at extracting! The twisted versions often have specific features. Rodger hides in capsules(look for a capsule without any wraps), Teagen steal tapes when she hits you, toodles is incredibly fast, Finn slows you down once you finish a machine, brightney glows, Connie hides in machines and if you use them while she’s in one she hits you(she doesn’t hit you outside the machine so feel free to walk past her or with her!) and Razzle and Dazzle or RnD! They have a trap surrounding them and they only activate if you run inside it. They will attack you if you’re walking/standing in the trap but if you’re behind something they cannot see you so they won’t attack you! Rare toons/twisteds consist of Glisten, Flutter, Gigi, Goob and Scraps The toon versions have only one ability but are very useful! Glisten can teleport to any other teammate but you get the confused effect which slows down extraction speed, flutter has an ability that lets them fly past danger and get a speed boost for 5 seconds(I think), Gigi gives you a random item when you gamble with her ability(this includes dandy exclusive items), goob can grab people which is good for saving people from getting hit or not getting in the elevator in time and scraps can strap onto other people which is good for running away from twisteds and beating the elevator timer! Their twisted forms are more dangerous. Glisten is harmless until the elevator opens. Someone must stay near glisten until the elevator opens or he goes crazy, glisten is around Pebble speed but slower after the new update(thankfully because he used to be faster). If you see someone say GTE it means get to elevator which is very important especially when babysitting Glisten. Flutter is very fast compared to other toons which makes it difficult to outrun her if you don’t have enough speed/stam or a proper distractor. Gigi steals items and the more stuff she steals the faster she gets(she can be around as fast as glisten when he breaks down or faster if she steals enough), her ability to steal is long range so I suggest hiding behind something when she spots you! Goob can grab people from afar but you can easily hide behind an object to avoid being grabbed. Scraps can snipe you from afar, same things as goob and Gigi, hide behind an object to avoid getting sniped. Main toons/twisteds consist of Astro, Vee, Shelly, Sprout and Pebble! These toons have 2 abilities. Astro can refill your stamina to full and gets a 50% faster regain of stamina then other toons Vee can mark out twisteds on any floor, blackout or not and can see the nearest machine to her Shelly can boost people’s extraction speed and gets a 25% speed boost when a machine is finished Sprout can heal people with the use of tapes and see little hearts of the players, broken heart means they got hit and non broken heart means they’re at full hp! Pebble can see all items near him, this includes tapes and capsules. He can also use his bark ability to lower his stealth and lead twisteds away(he used to have a different skill but this was changed after seeing he could distract the twisteds) Their twisted forms are very rare and very dangerous. Astro gives you the tired effect which makes stamina regenerate slower when he spots you and unfortunately he’s been buffed and now is faster then toodles(very dangerous when distracting or running from mains like the mains due to lack of stamina) he also drinks the ichor from the machines when you mess up, I suggest letting him see you to avoid this if you’re almost done. Vee gives you ads that block your screen and when she spots you she gives you an ad that gives slowness 2(very dangerous when facing other main twisteds) Shelly gives you confusion 1 the entire floor, making extraction slower and she’s very fast Sprout is slow like Vee but he spawns tentacles on the ground which blocks your path, these tentacles can hurt you so it’s best to avoid them if you can. Pebble.. arguably the most dangerous twisted besides Dandy. Pebble is the fastest twisted and has a VERY long range of sight, he does not give up easily after you get hit because if you don’t have stamina to run he will immediately start chasing after you again like all the other twisteds but since he’s the fastest it’s even more dangerous and difficult. Thankfully those are his only two things that he does/has Lethal toon/twisted consist of Dandy only(for now and probably forever) Dandy is only available for the development team Twisted Dandy is one shot, he’s very slow and when you complete a machine he runs for it as he can hear it. This twisted is only accessible when you don’t buy from his shop, 16 floors is the floor you’re guaranteed to get him on. Meanings of certain words GTE(get to elevator) this is used for when someone is doing the last machine EAE(everyone at elevator) this is for distractors to let them know that they can come in now Primed, prime, priming(save this machine for last) normally used after floor 10 to make it easier to gather everyone into the elevator for the distractor as 3+ twisteds start spawning past this point. LGN(leave glisten now) not all players use this term but when you see someone say this it means it’s time to leave Glisten I believe that’s everything for now but if someone says I missed something or you want me to add the lore of the game or the trinkets and what they do then just leave a reply and I’ll get to it as fast as I can!
actually, i'm pretty sure twisted flutter has normal speed, since whenever I distract she's as fast as a common twisted. also, normal flutter's ability can still get you hit if you dash into a twisted or one of sprout's tendrils
@WeirdoOfThings I think after the recent update she’s slightly slower then before but still faster then most commons, probably a little slower then toodles but still fast depending on your trinkets Also her ability can let you fly pass them, not through them lol I’ve played flutter before and it’s easy to fly to the side of twisteds to avoid getting hit
For context, all enemies work with stealth-based mechanics. To escape chases, you have to hide behind something. The twisteds (name of the enemies btw) have the intelligence of a goldfish and can't see through windows and very small things like tables too.
Unspoken rules in Dandys world: When people say gte (usually when almost all of the machines are finished), it means "get-to-elevator". Also, when people say eae, it means "everyones-at-elevator", that saying is usually for distractors. When you see a heal for example a healthkit(usually called a medkit tho) and a bandage, DONT IMMEDIATELY TAKE IT. There might be healers in your run(only 2 in this moment, sprout and cosmo) so just leave it for them. Distractors are basically the important people in the game. They keep the twisteds away from the other toons. (And my grammar sucks ass and my fingers hurt so yeh :[)
Astro is a main character you can tell he's a main by the fact his toon has a rainbow border, main characters twisteds spawn floor 5 and up and he is the most expensive toon of them all.
Getting Goob as a Twisted encounter while being new at the game is crazy. Goob remains ANNOYING to encounter even if you get better at the game. Glad that you two seemed to have fun though!
This is a very repetitive game so I suggest making it more fun with special runs (runs are just going into the elevator and starting a game) some special runs you can do are : nightmare run (if your twisted counterpart is on the floor your doing you have to stay at the elevator and can’t move until you get a floor without your twisted counterpart, you can only move when being hit but you have to go back to the elevator after you loose the twisted, and you can move to go into the elevator when it says to, twisted counterparts are the twisted version of the character your playing as) Battle royal (everyone is trying to kill everyone else in the run, the last person standing wins!) Protect the Shrimpo (shrimpo has horrible stats and can die very easily, so your job in this run is to make sure that the Shrimpo your protecting doesn’t die, otherwise everyone will die along with them. The person playing Shrimpo isn’t actively trying to die, their just playing normally but it will still be hard because of their bad stats like said before)((you essentially win if you get to floor 20, that’s how most people would say you win but stopping at floor 15 or 10 could also be an option)) Single dad/mom (Rodger and Teagan are often headcannoned as the parents of toodles ((Rodger is the magnifying glass, Teagan is the gold teacup, and toodles is the eight ball)) so in this run there is only one Rodger/teagan and the rest of the players are toodles. Similar to a protect the Shrimpo run, if Rodger/teagan dies everyone else does too. So the toodles have to protect the Rodger/teagan. Also like the protect the Shrimpo run, the Teagan/rodger isn’t actively trying to die, their playing normally, but this can still be hard because well dandys world is pretty hard, this run is basically protect the shrimpo but easier. (You essentially win if you get to floor 20, at least that’s how most people say you beat this challenge, but you can also stop at lower floors or higher floors depending how long you want it to be)
Dandy's World, players team up with other Toons to complete machines and descend deeper into Gardenview Center. The game may include bright or flashing lights, which could affect photosensitive users. Since the game is still in Alpha, players can expect bugs and shutdowns. (the twisted one) well he wont attack you dont read this part if u dont want any spoilers well so basically you have to stay near him cos he hates being alone its his fear also if you ignore him for too long he will be enraged and he is quite fast soooo...uhhh... good luck also when all machines are completed then he will still be enraged he doesent want you to leave him like this hes my fav toon and twisted btw

Wow a new player! Tip: you better be good at hiding your self from twisteds if your Rodger! Rodger has two stars of movement speed which seems to be hard for me so do solo runs and stuff so unless if you have any fast and speedy trinkets try to go behind objects while running! Escaping twisteds are rather running far away from them while they're chasing you or other things! Idk if this helps

astro is super shy and anti social which is why he has 5 star stealth on his stats.
