Agreed - I've struggled all my life with how my face and body shape would have been lauded as a *goddess* in Ancient Greece, but are seen as less- or even unattractive today. I still struggle with an eating disorder and was convinced for years I needed facial surgery.
But that's ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with how I look. What's wrong is society's stagnant beauty standard.

YES Hattie! I live in America and I'm thick, I was growing up when my body was considered chubby and unappealing and now it's in fashion and people praise me for it and I don't even want it now because screw them. Our bodies aren't trends!
First "real women" were thin, now they're curvy. We are ALL real women and beautiful no matter what the current popular opinion is!

It is really nice how you speak openly about mental struggles. It really takes away the stigma of it and it makes you understand that no one is perfect and things like anxiety and depression are more common than we think. We always think that people who appear very happy especially people on TH-cam, are always like that and don't have problems, but they are just like the rest of us. I also have anxiety and depression and have been on medication for a while now, so hearing how Jin has i too makes me feel less alone. You two really are the best couple on TH-cam not just because you are soo funny but also real and honest. I watch your videos every day, i have almost seen them all since i discovered your channel a few weeks ago. I love when Hattie pulls pranks on Jin. My favorite will always be the one where Hattie puts a fake poop on Jin's hand and he screams like possessed. And Hattie you also have great singing talent. You should really pursue that.

@@almyraubaidi1402 Hi, let me simplify it... we have white- Caucasian, black- (black)African [all the subgroups included], yellow-Asian and red-indigenous... of course these are not the only races but they are old fashioned terms...in today’s society it’s not socially acceptable to use the terms yellow and red...it’s offensive.
Of course race is a man made concept which places people in an invisible hierarchy which confuses everything even more but alas.... hope this explained 🥰

I've noticed that certain people love to put down interracial couples especially if the man happens to be Asian a lot these days.
It's always calling the woman a koreaboo or saying that the relationship is fake and then if that's not it, they start body shaming the woman or talking badly about her appearance and if the woman isn't white or mixed then it's another issue with skin color.
It's sad honestly that people have to put down others just because they got issues of their own.
