Thanks man! I ordered 16 o rings. Didn't think about replacing the injectors. Hopefully the o rings are enough for now. I also have a '99 GT automatic. Was smelling fuel in the morning with a rough idle. It would smooth out after driving for 5 minutes, but fuel smell was strong. Was seeing my fuel gauge drop faster than normal too! Thanks again!
Your welcome! Thanks for the feedback I’m glad I was able to help you. If your check engine light is on I would give it a scan. It might be a sensor giving you some trouble.
Start porting man you'll notice a hell of a differance! I ported mine a bit before an noticed quite a difference now I got my motor apart doing a full bore I'm maxing all intake and exhaust ports to the max from the heads, intake plate, intake manifold, throttle body an bigger injectors with a 3.5in diameter air intake.
When theses old mustang GT cars get older 200,000 miles everything needs to be replaced all sensors fuel injectors fuel pump and filter to keep the car running good all fluids need to be changed rear differential to the motor oil this is what I am doing to my 04 mustang GT automatic dark shadow gray
Did it fix it.i have a small mis at 1800 rpm low throttle. I do smell gas sometimes .and I changed my plugs and coils .it's like a really mis but I noticed it.
have a 2004 mustang gt and It's stalling rough idling when driving the speed is really low like it won't go over certain speed as of today I got the 02 sensor done still no help seems like it made it worse because now I can't even drive 1 min with out cutting off I was in traffic it did it to. I be so upset because i seen grandma go around me because of the slow acceleration. It also made a loud gunshot noise that was weird. I'm also having the trouble for the car turnover after several several attempts to cut on it comes on but it now diesso far I got these did *spark plug Coilpack Camshaft sensor Fuel pump Fuel filter 02 sensors I am going into debt trying to figure it out and the shop seem to don't know what's the problem. HeeelllllIppppp meeeee
Did your symptoms involve the engine bogging down under load? I have replaced plugs and coils along with a new fuel filter. Anybody, somebody, help me out...tired of crooked mechanics.

04 GT Crimson at 100k. Replacing Gaskets / O rings for almost everything that touches the intake manifold.
Would this work for a 4.6 v8 Ford grand marquis? Honestly can't find any other videos that have a similar engine.
Pretty sure it’s the same engine

c t 23 yes it fixed it 100% you can go online an order the bosh injectors for pretty cheap
Do you have to take out the coil packs and spark plugs to remove the fuel rail?
You might have already figured it out, but no you can leave the coils and spark plugs in place.
does the 1999-04 have the two piece sparkplug that could break when removing them. mine is 4.6 GT?
No they do not
01 mustang gt do i have direct or port injection system thx.
Did you use a tuner ?
This'll all be the same for a 2000 Mustang gt 4.6 I swapped into my 1999 vic, right?
Yes sir it should all be the same

Sounds like possibly a electrical issue to me
Had similar issue on my old new edge

I had the same issue and replaced the same things. I have a grand marquis, v8 4.6l, and it ended up being the fuel injectors.
I recommend you use transmission oil to lube
How would I know if the injector is messed up .my car is accelerating or idling up down when i stop can u help me with your opinion plz
use a petroleum oil makes them swell
