Great review. I have more Enduras than any other model. For stainless I really like the Super Gold 2 or the Knifejoy cpm-20cv variant which is a deal @ $115! I carried a vg10 combo edge for years as a firefighter but definitely can't argue with the k390. It's a beast!
My first Spyderco was a green Endura 4 in VG-10. I still have it and it's in the rotation. Today I found a very good price on an Endura in K390 and purchased it. I thought about the Endela after the purchase. But decided that for my use I prefer the longer and narrower blade of the Endura. I'm thinking about giving it a vinegar bath to induce a patina. My hands are medium sized and the Endura is a good fit. There's always some extra handle sticking out but doesn't bother me.
I didn’t with mine sounds like maybe some lint in the mechanism for the lock they aren’t the easiest to take apart and put back together but lint gets in the handle and mechanism for sure from pockets so probably need a clean and some come with blade play from the factory also tightening the pivot can fix that issue if it develops

I have the Stretch 2 in K390 and i love it, is a superb knife.
I purchased Endurance 4 Endela Warnedcliff and Rock Jumper Warnedcliff I upgraded to Titanium deep carry clips ,in 2024
Did you regrind it freehand?
I am going to get both in them in worncliff and k390 I have the Delica 4 worncliff in 20cv
The wharnecliffs will be discontinued as of next year
I see comments that the endura has lock issues Blade play after a while. Have you experienced that. I have one arriving in the mail hopefully thursday
