It's almost the downside of our now being able to detect a pregnancy with a testing kit so early on. When my older sister was having her kids many many years ago, you didn't really know for sure you were pregnant until you were 3 months along and had a blood test done at the docs surgery; but by the time I came along and started trying for a baby I knew straight away after a missed period that I was pregnant, and I too lost 2 babies before 12 weeks. My sister said that back in those days, if you got your period later on, unless you were sure that you were pregnant from other reasons, most women just thought ahh well I wasn't pregnant then and didn't put it down to a miscarriage.
There's some things I agree with Janet on but normalizing obesity on a mannequin I completely disagree it's not normalizing obesity to me it's showing no matter what size you are your perfect the way you are it's how you see yourself not how others see you 💜

Talking of what I see, I watched an interview with Nicholas Cage who is similar to my age and thought he was looking old, so I showed it to my son and cheekily said, 'how much older than me would you say he was' bearing in mind he's had plastic surgery and he's got make up on for the interview (as I thought I do look younger than him even taking that into consideration) and he said he thought that he looks younger than me!!!! Oh dear, so I look 5 years older than him. Reality check.
That hobby horse thing was hilarious, I seem to recall many years ago there was a comedy team who did a sketch based on it ???
