it is an AB class much better than z906 it's D class shit z625 is same than z906 D class crap The very best amplifier for a subwoofer is a class AB or Class H amplifier. Class D amplifiers are too slow and cannot keep up with repetitive bass. A class AB has a toroidal transformer and coke can capacitors so when the kick drum kicks the woofer responds instantly.

I think sony is all In all in comparison to logitech as bass is not too much distinguishable between and by hearing headphone I observed sonys bass is some boomy or yu can say a low frequency resonancy occurs at reaching high bass.also power matters in low frequency resonant as suppose 130w rms amplifier and 165 w rms as at unit bandwidth the q factor of logitech is 130 units and for sony it is 165 after calculating yu get sonys q factor is about 1.2 times greater than logitech.so that does not matter as its fully dependent upon driver compression and rarefaction mechanism or yu can say elastic nature of driver but I have sony dav dz 350 in my own house which is 1000w rms with 165 w (same)subwoofer(costs around 22k)and my elder brother have logitech z 906(that costs around 35.99k)but I have seen my bass quality remains greater than my elder brother as if he plays song at high treble with high bass its amazing experience in case of bass but soothingness or clarity lacks but playing in my sony it comes with great clarity and balanced sound with ground shaking bass.so I think sony is overall better in case of excursions and movie watching,and dialogues and actions.but in only bass logitech is good in its own way.
