Theoretically, you could use food coloring or some sort of dye/color in the bubble mixture to add color to the lines. It’s a technique in art that I learned! You do water, soap, and food coloring then mix. You then take a straw to blow bubbles into the cup so it overflows with bubbles a bit then place a piece of paper on top to get the pattern. It’s a fun craft :)

OMG THIS IS SO SICK!!! 😱😱😍😍 I recently purchased gel and i can’t wait to try this nail art for this summer!!! It’s literally the most original nail art i’ve seen in 2020 so far! 🌈💙
Good video! I do recommend, when using powder, to use a brush to dust off the excess before top coating. Otherwise you run the risk of pulling bigger pieces of pigment on to the nail or contaminating the nail polish bottle.
@@xceres17x Maybe if you tried first doing the chrome nails on regular nail polish, (shown here: th-cam.com/video/eBOAPPiUwCQ/w-d-xo.html ) & then tried the bubbles over a normal topcoat? The drawback being you'd have to wait until the polish tried & I can't guarantee it would work, but could be worth a try?
Rebecca Panayi-Sjotun I wonder if you could use a hair dryer on low (and cool) to speed up the dry time of the regular top coat or if it would just make the bubbles collapse 🤔
finally someone did a video about how to this bubble nails😂 i watched a lot of videos of other people and stil didnt understand :/ but you explained perfectly
Not sure if I misunderstood but did she say that you can't put powders over anything other then a no wipe top coat? Because I've used it over wiped top coats that do have that stocky layer after curing and it works the same. Again, not sure if I misunderstood but I'm just putting this out therw just in case :)
It works best over no wipe. It depends on the powder. I know my chrome powders work much better on no wipe, but, you are right, it doesn't Only work on that 1 type of polish.
I just did these and I love the way they look but...they have such a rough texture! I tried putting another layer of top coat but it made the bubbles disappear. Could it be the products I’m using or is that just how they end up?
Is it best to not put a top coat over the nails once you remove the bubbles, I did and the effect wasn’t as good so did it again without top coating after removing bubbles, looks great but they feel a bit rough, is this normal?
Could someone do a tutorial on doing cool designs for small nails? I have tiny hands and my nails are like a toddlers. Sometimes the nail designs are too big to look good on small nails.
These were so fun to do! I was shocked by how easy it was too! 😱

@@krushibhakta6895 Food coloring wouldn't, no. But you could theoretically top it with a tinted jelly polish perhaps?
It really looks like holographic snakeskin

This is ridiculously fabulous! Will definitely be trying this with my next manicure!
Holo is the best! ❤️❤️❤️
Is there any way to get this effect without using gel polish? I just have reg polish, and this looks so incredibly good!

It works, you have to let the bubbles dry for 5 or more minutes
great teaching video they turned out great

Yaaaaaas! I'm totally trying this effect today. Love it!!!
Hello! This is so cute!💗

Thanks for sharing great ideas!
Nice nail design
It is so different, I luv it🦄💗👌🏼
This is really cool!
I can't wait to try this!! I bet it would look amazing with chameleon powders too.
the bubble affect is neat but I find it takes away from the shimmer of the holo..You can do this with normal nail polish too tho 👍
Thanks i was wondering if could do it with normal gel polish x
So cool! 😍😍😍
I really love the holo, but I'd leave mine all smooth. Thanks for sharing ur wisdom 😁👍🌟
It really works👍🏻👌🏻
I want to try this !!!!

Looks like the packaging on ABH/Jackie Aina palette. So pretty❤
mikahick - I LOVE that packaging!! And it’s probably one of my absolute favorites palettes!

I understood it to be chrome powders specifically.
I have to do this, so fun!
It looks like dragon scales!! Will this work with regular mail polish?
Breeze H no it won’t 🖤
I tried this to under mult chrome very pretty yours are beautiful too
Nice!!!!😎
Can bubble nails be made with normal (traditional) polish?
❤❤❤
Is it smooth? Or is the texture all bumpy?
LexiPants it’s textured
@@xo.iiamHER thank you!
Can this be done with regular nail polish too?

Can i use a regular black polish and then above it a grey chrome nail polish (no powder)?and then the bubble steps?
Reply please....
Omg this looks so cool 😎
It looks like H💿L💿 leather
Nice! I like the snake print like effect. Do you know if it will work with regular, non-gel polish?
After completing all the steps we have to apply top coat again?
Nice 👍🏽
Do you have to apply a no wipe top coat for the bubble effect or could it be any gel top coat?
I am the first one waiting for your video.
You should try cre8tion super black!
Holy wow how long did that take, and cost? Any chance it can be done without the gel polish?
How long do the bubbles last without a top coat
This would look just like snakeskin if you did a green or brown nail polish and did like a boa spot pattern.
Tell me,did you fully cured no wipe top coat before you apply chrome? Tnx.
Can this only be done with chrome nails or would it work with a reg gel mani?
I just did these and I love the way they look but...they have such a rough texture! I tried putting another layer of top coat but it made the bubbles disappear. Could it be the products I’m using or is that just how they end up?
Try using a regular top coat to smooth it out

Next time try one coat black by holotaco😄
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
4th comment😘
It was nice without bubbles😅
Welp. This is now on my to-do list.
Which. Liquid you use to create bubble
It looks like mock croc more than bubbles.
Can you do this with normal polish and none of the holographic powder stuff?
Do u need chrome powder??
Some nail powders need that tacky layer. The ones I have you dab it on cured nail polish and then rub it in :)
What are these powders??? They're so amazing.
😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻😻
Do put another top coat on after the bubbles?
The Happy Moose no I didn’t! I tried it off camera and it smoothed out the texture.
I want to try it but I feel like I'm never going to
Halo will wk with mate top coat also ive heard
Can I achieve this without the UV curing? I don't have it :(
Please how calls the think for placing powder. Cube od something thank you
My first and last question is ... How you guys get so much ideas about nails 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
😍
I dont know if its just me but i hate bubble nail effect. Its so odd! I think it gives me tripdaphobia
Ziggy I have that too but soapy bubbles aren’t a trigger for me. Usually just stuff with pods or pores.
Mine are always WAY too pitted no matter how thin my tc is. I can't get the smoother bubble look. Help please! Anyone!
😃
😘💞💕💗💖💋😍
If ur gonna put the holographic stuff on top of the black 🖤 why put the black anyways.

It makes it more opaque.
