This time, I visited a boat house of an Australian man who is building a large yacht by himself in Imizu , Toyama, Japan.
The man is Kevin Moxey from Sydney. He moved to Toyama Prefecture a few years ago, and upon his retirement, he decided to try his hand at boat building, which he had wanted to do since he was a child. The yacht he is currently building is Dix470, one of the kits of Dudley Dix Yacht Design. The yacht is quite large, measuring 14 meters in length, and Kevin continues to work on it diligently every day. When I asked him what he plans to do with the boat when it is finished, he told me of his big dream.
