@@tejas9610 I suppose you can use fevicryl fabric color but i think those color are mostly used for coloring and designing rather than dyeing the whole cloth. It will be also costlier than the above method. If you want to dye your pants I'd still recommend the above method, one packet of 10 or 20 Rs will be enough for one cloth and you can get it easily as well.

There are also available 'color fasteners' in market which you can use immediately after dying your cloths which can bind the color more strongly nd make it more durable nd long lasting. However i haven't tried color fasteners yet.

I m working in fabric dyeing Lab This is not a proper way to dye febric we should identify the febric first like100%cotton,cvc,tc,100%pollyster there are separate dye stuff(colour) for that, and if we use salt only then it will be uneven
