What helps me with planning a page without photos is to use an index card in 4x6 size folded up. So in half is 3x4 and in half again is 2x3 and finally 2x1.5. And I keep a post it in 2x2 size for square photos. Then I can trace around those sizes and know how to journal around them.
Ohhh girl you’re braver than I am for sure! But I love all the watercolor branches! Your husband is a gem😊 my husband was always so good with my mom and she let him get away with all the things! LOL These are such sweet new memories you are making. They are the hardest memories to make. And you are rockin it! Take care my sweet friend ❤ and Happy Birthday to your dad 😊❤
Great set-up. Love how the cover turned out. Your hubby sounds like mine with serving and thinking of others. Such a blessing! Have you hinted to a new printer for Christmas? 😊 Looking forward to seeing the rest of your journal and what you come up with for your I.O.T.M. I’ve been doing a little experimenting with watercolors. There was a channel I watched and she would use brush pens or watercolor titles or highlight words on her pages and then outline the letters to help them pop. It was so pretty and I’ve been wanting to try that. Enjoy the season! Sounds like your hubby is already trying to make it special for both you and your Mom. 🥹
My good memories for Christmas was all cousins together and opening a lot of presents but unfortunately after my parents divorce no longer happen now my kids are getting to know their uncles and my cousins after over 20 years of not talking to each other. Great memories
Just a couple of ideas. Figure out what size you are printing your photos and cut some post it's to size so you can use them as place markers. Also when I have a lot of photos for a day I will sometimes add a concertina fold flip out
Ah! Love seeing you playing in your Christmas journal, Allison! Thinking of you. Christmas is definitely tough when you're grieving. So much love. ❤
From all you say about your husband, it sounds like he has the gift of service and how awesome is that!
You did good. Your making new Christmas memories this year. It will be tough, but you will survive. Hugs
Love It & Praying for you during our Christmas season ❤️🙏
