how does chrisG get so many L's in his combos without activating the auto-combos? when i say lights, i mean he gets like 2 punches in before the knee comes out instead of the auto-combo taking over
Yea, it was really super risky to overextend your pressure in Marvel because of XF cancel through blockstun and 0f f/b + H grabs. You couldn't even stagger much in Marvel because of 0frame grabs. Here you can see people staggering and putting people in blockstrings all day.

back+L two times and you get 2 lights with no autocombo
