Yes! My favorite videos of yours were you ladder matches. It can be so hard to find actual gameplay of this game from player perspective that’s not a super high rated player that moves to fast to enjoy watching
I did enjoy this cast. Not just because it was entertaining as usual but also because not many people will put their own games up for the world to see.
Fun game; overthought the expansion to the plateaus. You asked why people like ladder matches, especially from not-pros. I like it for because I'm still learning as well, so I guess I can live vicariously through your live ladder matches a bit
what we learn from these games is what makes a player "good". In your case, you have very solid fundamentals and make decisions that I wouldnt either a.) do as quickly or b.) wouldn't have attempted in the first place (your micro focus/understanding on reclaiming stands out, as well as your early radar coverage). I did see obvious errors of course as well, but those are important because we learn from those too and realize that why you as a player are the rank you are (Splitting your forces to chase 3 lonely tanks with like 10+ of yours is a throw, not scouting the enemies potential expansions is a throw, not scouting the # of enemy factories is improvement worthy...) But hey, this is why we love the content! Definitely motivated me to record some of my own videos here in the future, hopefully I'll be able to share my mistakes soon haha. Goodluck! Gained a subscriber :))
More radar and before you start your gun, ensure you have energy storage. I do at least 1 maybe 2 before I even start gun. Last thing you want is for your radar to go down and you can't see units coming.
It is just fun and kind of supporting, to see someone else struggle with the same thing I struggle with by myself. The end result does not really matter, as a win propably would have been a struggle as well. Please keep on!
I dont play ladder but ive been a big fan of setting patrol waypoints from factories, especially on the factory producing reclaim engi's & or inties/scouts.
As one of the very first people that ever supported me and someone that has helped me with a ton of videos (including the Linux video which may or may not ever be made), I really appreciate you! You're what make this channel work man.
You assumed you needed to distance build to that eastern plateau, but as you can see at 4:30, there was a small path between the cliff and the mountain. Would knowing that have changed your early game?
I got up earlier than 7. My first meeting was at 7 :P

Would love to see more of these and 1v1 ladder casts

I make presentations for a living (if you really boil down my job). I'm fine being crucified on the cross of public opinion :D
I enjoy these ladder matches. Helps me learn. And I think you’re good at breaking down the “film” .

your first mistake was not to alt f4 when you saw the map

ladder matches are so stressful. great job!

lots to learn from u!
You're learning from the wrong spot buddy :D
I remember my first cast of my game on your channel what a fun mess
your main issue is when you got the control of the center you could have raided and the side that you miss is also a big factor

@@TheDuelist I don't know if I would have continue playing faf whiteout you

Some more keyboard shortcuts would help your APM.
EG G to upgrade mexes. Spacebar to toggle pause on and off.
Hard map for the first game.
UEF COM Drone for the expansion.
I will never stoop to that level :D
