You can have your AMA…Starting in September in the EU, the EASA will no longer require insurance for any aircraft weighing under 20kg mtow, the dropped the age of unaccompanied minor pilots, and are doing away with the required permit to recreationally fly any uav over 250g and under 20kg. Of course it is also wise to carry insurance on your mid to large size aircraft, but it sure is nice to have the freedom to make that decision on your own, unlike the land of the free that finds anyway possible to force you to pay a tax on something you shouldn’t be forced to purchase just to be “legal”
Where can I find more info about this? Sweden made our interpretation (as always..) forcing us to max 250g even on RC planes 😅 but if I can get a 250-700g plane then I’m happy!

The Eachine warbirds are all tail-heavy. You must either add a heavier aluminum spinner or some weight to the nose or use a heavier battery. Even the Eachine warbirds fly great out of stabilized mode. You have to be at around 25% of MAC. That even goes for the little High-wing RC planes like the Maule M7 they are in the same ballpark. You don't notice it because the GYRO can make a bad CG fly decent. Here is the formula to calculate... CG POSITION = MAC/6+(3 X TAIL AREA TAIL MOMENT ARM ) / 8 X WING AREA. To keep it simple most of them are 15mm back from the leading edge of the wing where it meets the fuselage. If you put it there it will fly great in manual mode. You will have to trim it out in manual mode and then adjust the clevises to center the trims back again for level flight once you change the to the new CG. You could also ask AI to calculate it for you and order some Chinese takeout. lol

Salutations RCSaylors! Nice plane! Very similar to the UMX P-51 that also runs on a 2 cell battery, however the UMX will also run on a 3 cell battery as well. I purchased a Volantex P-51 last year, the smaller one that has a coreless motor or a brushed motor, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get the battery to fit in it, nor could I get it to bind to the transmitter either, so it just looks nice and sits on a shelf. I just fly my other planes, instead. I am sure that my experience was an isolated one, because I am sure that I have seen you review the same plane without any issues, like I experienced. I would like to see a nice affordable P-38 lightning, or a B-25 Mitchell Bomber with a pair of brushless motors in them, and a B-17, or a B-29 would also be a really model to choose from, and since these planes are a little larger, wouldn’t it be nice to at least offer an upgraded version with retractable landing gear? I know that I am not the only one who would like to have this option! Thanks for sharing! Please have an excellent and awesome day! ✨☀️🌟✈️
What is the all-rounder spektrum transmitter for the average hobbyist. one to buy for life so dont need to keep upgrading. Got a few transmitters stacking up now.
I have been a loyal advocate and supporter of rc saylors since they started and I officially can’t take it anymore.. passive aggressive jab AGAIN at other channels that actually produce funny fun content that may not be *perfectly* up to AMA guidelines. Also the biased support for AMA and blaming the feds coming down on us as a misunderstanding of what we do.. shaking my head- the feds know exactly what we and they are doing, it’s a structured attack on civilian radio tech in general, and it clears the road for the companies in the feds pockets to get into drone and small remote operated air vehicle delivery/operations. AMA does nothing for us, and they put up a fake fight they had no intentions of trying to win. This channel over time has gotten more and more focused on taking stabs at other channels and blindly pushing AMA rather than innovating their own content. I never leave comments on TH-cam, it’s always an enjoyable space for rc content- but these guys just have become so hard to listen to. Bet this comment gets taken down either way but I just wish these guys would focus less on the borderline political aspects of this hobby and just give us unfiltered content like they used to.
You don’t think that channels uploading content, doing things they shouldn’t be doing is getting the wrong kind of attention from the FAA? Open your eyes my friend, as that’s exactly what is happening. A misrepresentation of our hobby. Also, people Should use their platform for the greater good. We’ve had thousands request that we talk about the “political” aspect of the hobby through the years but we don’t really want to get too deep into it. However, at the end of the day, we can feel proud of our accomplishments and achievements and have done it without ruining the hobby for others for the sake of a view or two. It’s a real shame that you feel this way, but that’s the beauty of America! Still, very pathetic of you to accuse us of deleting your comment. Other channels have literally made derogatory videos about us and our family, yet we can’t make vague statements that what they are doing is dangerous without mentioning names!? Are you like their mom or something? Sigh… Happy Flying and God Bless You 🙏✝️❤️⚓️
Small remote operated product delivery is never going to be a thing. It's not feasible, every drove would get shot down and packages stolen. I'm not talking about guns, protesters use powerful laser pointers to disable drones. Your weird conspiracy theories about package delivery just shows how little you know, when you really are just a paranoid conspiracy theorist. We don't need Chester Cheetah explaining about how the Greys have replaced management in the AMA with lizard people who work for Jeff Bezos so he can get an "in" on a package delivery service that will never exist. Sorry to break it to you, buddy, but if Jeff Bezos wanted preferential treatment from the AMA and FAA, he'd just donate a billion dollars to them, bing bang boom. He doesn't need weird conspiracies with "aliens" and tracking devices and harassing model airplane enthusiasts.
@@Mikeylikesit1968your president caused murder of security officers. What a great guy. Let's get a convicted felon back in office. Wow. You were definitely born in 68,.
It sounds like you are saying that you don’t need to always push the throttle forward for this rc plane to stay airborne. Is that a correct interpretation?
I have this plane and you definitely don't have to have the throttle all the way forward to keep it in the air, I'd say even at 50% throttle it stays airborne just fine, maybe even lower than 50% for real. It's a super fun little RC plane, I'm just waiting for the temperature to warm up just a bit and then taking mine out to the park to run a couple batteries thru it. If you're thinking about buying one, I'd say do it..!! It's a fantastic little plane and the propeller saver works flawlessly.!! I fly mine without the landing gear for the most part, and bring it in slow and low for a landing, the prop pops off as soon as it hits the grass, then just pops right back on... I absolutely love this RC plane
Hello RC Saylors we are two kids who also enjoy RCs and we like to make TH-cam shorts about them. A shoutout or something along those lines would be great… we have 345 subs right now but we have big goals 😎
Making TH-cam videos is a blast isn’t it!? It’s crazy where 11 years of Hard Work can bring you. I’d like to encourage you guys to stay positive and get the attention of others by doing creative things. Don’t ask for handouts, and don’t make stabs at other channels (not saying you are doing either thing) but I promise that you’ll catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Some channels still struggle to understand that that are likely twice your age! I can say, we will gladly stop by and check out a couple of your videos. Until then, keep uploading, and the main thing is have fun while you’re doing it!! 👍💯😎⚓️
@@Jaco3Dnews True, but for example the cheap A560 from XK does have gyro active in acro mode, making it fly more smoothly in a breeze. So Volantex could do the same
This is easily my favorite brand so cheap such fun and all the parts on Amazon as well to buy and repair but man I want them to make some Russian jets SU-27 and ofc the SU-57 and hearing that they make these guys in brushless now ugh makes all my old ones with hundreds of hours seeming outdated 😢
Man where can I get replacement propellers and prop savers for this plane? I can't seem to find the right ones😑 I bought a used one like new for just $30..!! but it only had the one propeller with it and I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I need a back up, any suggestions?
@@TheRcSaylors I've checked pretty much everywhere, I have the Volantex P51D mustang 500mm , the 4 blade propellers that come with it have the prop saver on the propeller itself, every one that I find on multiple sites has the prop saver on the nose of the plane. . I picked up what I thought were the right ones from Amazon but they're just slightly smaller and like I said, they have the prop saver on the nose of the plane vs being on the actual propeller like the original. I'm wondering if I could just swap them out and change it to where the prop saver is on the nose of the P51D? From what I've read having a slightly smaller prop isn't that big of a deal and could increase the speed a little, at the expense of a small amount of thrust. I'm pretty new to this stuff, I have this plane and an Apprentice STOL (absolutely love it) and that's basically it except for a few of the 2 channel cheapies. Thank you for the reply! Love the channel btw and I'll definitely go thru your channel when I'm ready to buy a larger RC plane to help support the channel, thanks again. The prop saver works great, I only worry about like the prop saver eventually stretching out to the point it starts popping off the plane and causing a crash I can't walk away from😂 Edit: my plane is a V2 , I suppose that means version 2? If that helps
@@TheRcSaylors thank you sir. I've been wanting to get into this for a long time. When I was a kid in the 80s, you had to be a wealthy adult, there was nothing for beginners.
Hi sir. I have dilemma picking this for $84/1 battery @ $93 with 3 battery OR the WLtoy XK A280 for $73/1 Battery. What would you pick sir?and what do think these both model for totally beginner who never fly rc plane?
If you only have access to a small park then go with the Volantex. It is also easier for a total beginner. If you plan to move to larger planes, then the XK A280 is going to prepare you better for them. I have a lot of FPV flights on my channel of the XK A280 and the Volantex Corsair if you want to see how they fly in different situations.
@@StickJockeyFPV Hi sir, ty for your input. I have access to part that almost double football field very close to my house and i plan to start there. Recently i add another model in my list which is FMS Ranger 1220m. A lot bigger but apparently many reviewer says its great for beginner first rc plane. But the price is for RTF combo is almost triple from this volantex so thats a big step up. Havent decided yet tho. I checkout your video sir. Those FPV are awesome. Subsriber now.
@StickJockeyFPV I'm checking your channel. I have the 280. Love it. I have an fpv setup, in the box still. Kinda want to use it really badly, but am nervous.
@@saskafrass1985 I crashed the plane pretty hard into the ground when I was first trying it with FPV and wanted to try some aerobatics. The fuselage broke apart and I felt defeated and sad. Surprisingly, I was able to just glue it back together and was up in the air with it the next day.
To comment on your brief opinion of AI, AGI already exists, OpenAI is currently in a lawsuit with Elon because they're trying to make as much money as possible before they release GPT5 (which is the model that has reached AGI)
It honestly feels like that is their main competition here with this release. UMX is still higher quality, but the question is, how much higher? It would be very interesting if Volantex/ Eachine would release BNF versions of these. 🤔💯⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors yes the brushles motor is a completley new thing for this type of planes that are cheper than umx its a game changer for sureee. But horizon should stop mounting their transmiters that becomes toooooooooo expensive after no one can spend 400dolars of transmiter and model.
Unlikely. If we do Nall again, it would not be the Fall one. Our daughter is in school, and if I remember right, there was a conflict of scheduling with Joe Nall this year anyways which is why we didn’t make it. Had a good time, but currently have other events / projects on my want list 😁👍💯😎⚓️
When I was younger, I mowed yards to earn spending money. Before that, I cleaned neighbors and family members cars to earn spending money for my hobbies. You could clean about 2-3 cars on the outside alone and easily earn enough money to buy this airplane! 👍💯😎⚓️
Also this: th-cam.com/video/Dtx_QRYbW-M/w-d-xo.html It’s a bit more expensive, but should be supported longer for spare parts, etc.. There are quite a few more, but many have issues. Also a nice “jet” comes to mind and I can send that link your way if interested. Happy Flying! ⚓️
I'm in the UK but for small "toys" like this warbird no one has ever said anything to me. It's a fun flight in the park, be sure to check rules with your local council.
In our opinions, these foam toys should be the Least of everyone’s worries regarding safety. Question: Why aren’t automobiles outlawed? Do people realize how many 💀 there are every day from them!?!? Of course I’m being sarcastic when I suggest that, but seriously… let’s ban marbles while we are at this nonsense. Kids choke on them you know. Maybe we should have licenses to play with rocks. A lot of damage could be done with a rock. And last I checked, rock beats foam every time!! Seriously, the weight etc.. should be listed on the website we have linked 😉👍💯⚓️
Much like how marijuana helped me take the step to shooting straight horse, these little airplanes were a great beginner to get me into the bigger stuff.
So you guys link things that you didnt even review. Very first link is a brushed p51 from Wal-Mart. But i thought brushless is so important? If it was then shouldnt you link the right dang plane?
I'm in a wheelchair could you do this plane all over again and launch it while setting in a chair I would appreciate that it would give me a perspective on should I purchase this or not Even though it is a really good flyer thank you for all the videos
I know Nate isn't ALWAYS as 'Tractable' as he was this time, (1:44, about), but he seemed to be Imitating the (mythical) Perfect Husband, this time. (Abby feeling 'so Spoilt.')
The AMA lost me when they stuck their heads in the sand over the RemoteID bullcrap, and their negative views on FPV, both short and long range. Neither are dangerous when done responsibly.
I’m not going to deny that they could do some things better, but I will ask you who does a better job of representing our hobby than the AMA? Like, actually lobbying for the hobby, etc… And I say this all while knowing they also provide insurance and everyone gets a magazine subscription for under $100 for the year. Maybe the solution is to increase the membership fees so they can actually hire a team of lawyers to represent what we are doing? I dunno, but I do love talking about this stuff to help raise awareness!! 👍💯⚓️
@TheRcSaylors The insurance and magazine is great, and I think the idea of them representing us and lobbying the government to protect our hobby is great, but again, with the RemoteID and the FRIA's, I don't see them actually protecting our hobby, but rather making it more exclusive and regulated. And as the economy continues to decline, I think increasing membership fees would just be the final nail in the coffin for the AMA. I can't provide a solution, I just know their current strategy isn't it
A.I doesn't exist. It's a stupid buzzword. What everyone is calling AI is "machine learning" and if you think that sounds the same, well, what "machine learning" means is just pattern recognition. So today's "A.I." is just pattern recognition hiding behind two different buzzwords, and everyone is overusing it to the point of it losing meaning. Skynet isn't even close when "AI" art can't even draw hands properly 30% of the time 😂
AI is the overarching concept of machines being able to carry out tasks in a way that we would consider “smart.” It's a broad field that involves creating systems capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. This includes reasoning, learning, problem-solving, perception, language understanding, and to his point, potentially flying. ML is a specific application of AI that allows systems to learn from data and improve over time. ML is a subset of AI that focuses on enabling systems to learn from data and improve their performance over time without being explicitly programmed. Ultimately, all machine learning is AI, but not all AI is machine learning.

What is the all-rounder spektrum transmitter for the average hobbyist.
one to buy for life so dont need to keep upgrading.
Got a few transmitters stacking up now.
Ditch spektrum and enter the world of edgeTX and Elrs on a radiomaster t16 or Boxer
Sigh… Happy Flying and God Bless You 🙏✝️❤️⚓️
MrRyan. Oh Karen, probably a Kamotoe supporter

Can I bind to 4-in-1 module on my radio Master?
Stuff like this is usually married unfortunately
yes V761 protocol
Can confirm @@andyplayervideo
Great video! I don’t see a coupon code in description. Is one available for this model? Thanks…
Are Frsky transmitters like Taranis compatible with the receivers on these planes?
Hello RC Saylors we are two kids who also enjoy RCs and we like to make TH-cam shorts about them. A shoutout or something along those lines would be great… we have 345 subs right now but we have big goals 😎
hi i subt to you very good loking chanell
Now if they could add some gyro to acro mode, to make these more smooth, as3x style, it would be perfect
its not a umx from horizon
i know it would be better
@@Jaco3Dnews True, but for example the cheap A560 from XK does have gyro active in acro mode, making it fly more smoothly in a breeze. So Volantex could do the same
@@rc-fannl7364 yes thats right
This is easily my favorite brand so cheap such fun and all the parts on Amazon as well to buy and repair but man I want them to make some Russian jets SU-27 and ofc the SU-57 and hearing that they make these guys in brushless now ugh makes all my old ones with hundreds of hours seeming outdated 😢
Man where can I get replacement propellers and prop savers for this plane? I can't seem to find the right ones😑
I bought a used one like new for just $30..!! but it only had the one propeller with it and I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I need a back up, any suggestions?
You’d be very surprised how long those props will last you! Have you checked our link in our description box and pinned comment? 💯⚓️
The prop saver works great, I only worry about like the prop saver eventually stretching out to the point it starts popping off the plane and causing a crash I can't walk away from😂
Edit: my plane is a V2 , I suppose that means version 2? If that helps
How long do batteries last? I see it comes with 2
Pretty long flight times depending on how you fly it. Around 8-15 minutes but an average of about 12 minutes per battery. 👍💯😎⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors thank you sir. I've been wanting to get into this for a long time. When I was a kid in the 80s, you had to be a wealthy adult, there was nothing for beginners.
Steerable tail wheel too !
To comment on your brief opinion of AI, AGI already exists, OpenAI is currently in a lawsuit with Elon because they're trying to make as much money as possible before they release GPT5 (which is the model that has reached AGI)
i think they smashed umx series with this one
It honestly feels like that is their main competition here with this release. UMX is still higher quality, but the question is, how much higher? It would be very interesting if Volantex/ Eachine would release BNF versions of these. 🤔💯⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors yes the brushles motor is a completley new thing for this type of planes that are cheper than umx its a game changer for sureee. But horizon should stop mounting their transmiters that becomes toooooooooo expensive after no one can spend 400dolars of transmiter and model.
yall going to fall nall in ocotober?
These make perfect first time FPV planes, just sayin...
I really wanna RC playing. I just can’t afford it.
When I was younger, I mowed yards to earn spending money. Before that, I cleaned neighbors and family members cars to earn spending money for my hobbies. You could clean about 2-3 cars on the outside alone and easily earn enough money to buy this airplane! 👍💯😎⚓️
I just saw that!
Will you post a coupon code for this plane?
Any other 2s planes like this?
The fact that this is a RTF Brushless 2S airplane makes it a bit more rare, however some do exist. Let me grab another one of our videos for you:

Also this:

There are quite a few more, but many have issues. Also a nice “jet” comes to mind and I can send that link your way if interested.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The weight would be nice to know!
Do i need remote id to fly it?
Do i need a license to fly it?
I'm in the UK but for small "toys" like this warbird no one has ever said anything to me. It's a fun flight in the park, be sure to check rules with your local council.
Sub 250g no ID required
Get a TX16S Radiomaster...These fly great with a hobby grade controller.
Please try this on 3s!!!
3S is more powerful because I had one, but 2S is enough I think.
@markben8004 any video I could see? I already purchased the plane mind you haha
So you guys link things that you didnt even review. Very first link is a brushed p51 from Wal-Mart. But i thought brushless is so important? If it was then shouldnt you link the right dang plane?
led me the price please
I'm in a wheelchair could you do this plane all over again and launch it while setting in a chair I would appreciate that it would give me a perspective on should I purchase this or not Even though it is a really good flyer thank you for all the videos
Have a friend throw it for you. Just a suggestion, I've seen alot of flights where someone else launches.
I know Nate isn't ALWAYS as 'Tractable' as he was this time, (1:44, about), but he seemed to be Imitating the (mythical) Perfect Husband, this time. (Abby feeling 'so Spoilt.')

HOW DO YOU STORE THOUSANDS OF RC PLANES
We give away a lot and sometimes sell some. Those that we sell usually end up as donations for local causes in need. 💯⚓️

PUT THE LANDING GEAR 😡🤬🤬
I can't provide a solution, I just know their current strategy isn't it
:-)
:-)
Large, medium, and small, these aircraft all fly the same.
Agreed guys, especially about the way overused buzzword of “A.I.” in general. I sort of poke fun while using the term so loosely 😅💯😉⚓️
What is happening with the AMA stuff? People not happy with RC sailors?
What do you mean? 🤔🤷♂️⚓️
