@@ripclaw3008 Maybe similar to what over Studio Ghibli did in their movies since both BOTW and TOTK are heavily influence on Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, and Spirited Away.
I think it would have been narratively better for link and zelda to kiss. (I just wanna see them kiss)

For future dlc, I hope we get Zelda to accompany Link on his quests like restoring Hryule, researching ancient relics, educating children in her school and thier relationships grew to become more like lovers. 💕

Highly unlikely considering Ganondorf is a repeatable boss fight.
Zelda games has never had postgame, it always put you on the last save before the final boss but with a sign that tells that you has beaten the game

@@madisonlewe1057 I agree It would be a great way to expand the Tears of of the Kingdom story as it should've been done in Skyward Sword. Only problem is people will keep denying it saying 'Link is the main character'. We should sent a note to Nintendo.
I like how there is implied that they have romance going on between each other. She is a reincarnation of Sonia and Link is Rauru. The other thing is how she blushes when she looks at Link and the manner of how she says it.

the relation to Skyward sword Zelda and Link is very very far down the line for Botw Zelda, Link just possess the same spirit as the Hero of Sky
All I want is to be able to free roam the world after defeating Ganondorf 😭 like we get another set of side missions where we accompany Zelda to uncover more lore, maybe references to other games, but we can still go to stables and villages and stuff

I don't think it should've fully saved past the main game since all the monsters would be gone and there would be significantly less to do across the world. What I'd really love is a side mode that takes place after the game and is focused on rebuilding Hyrule. It would've been perfect especially in this game.

@@JotaroKujo2609..In Botw, the Master Sword, Fi, also told Zelda he was still alive after he collapsed. Zelda gave up because she couldn’t feel his heartbeat. But I think her seeing the sword and hearing Fi’s sound, tells her Link is alive.

I'm not sure if this is an Easter egg as I haven't seen anyone discussing it, but in a certain photo quest related to the Unity Bell, after completing it, the innkeeper responds to the photo saying, 'It feels like we can hear the sound of the bell as if there were a couple right here,' with their gaze directed at Link. This also reminds me of the residency requirement in Tarrey Town, where the name in Japanese must include the character 'ダ' (da), which is also present in the name of the princess. This could explain why there is a personal house built in Tarrey Town?!!"

Got one important question: Does Link and Zelda’s relationship evolved into lovers after the events of Breath of the Wild?
There are so many hints and Suggestions that they are in Tears of the Kingdom.
One example is when you go Hateno Village to check in Link’s old home. It’s called Zelda’s house. In the Japanese version however, it claims to be Link and Zelda’s house (they lived, eat and sleep together in one single bed).
Another example is from Dragon Tear Memory 8, where Zelda speaks highly about Link to Queen Sonia and King Rauru as she blushes.
Next is you get to see her second dairy in a her secret study room beneath their home where Zelda wrote about a surprise she was gonna give to Link after their investigating the underground caverns of Hyrule Castle.
And lastly, you encounter a NPC after rebuilding Lurelin. He show you a photograph image of a Lover’s Pond where someone in disguise went there, then later implies that Zelda went there with Link.
Those examples are heavily implied that Zelink is canon.
I’m wondering I am aware that Zelda is most certainly in love with link romantically witch was confirmed within btow and kass song witch literally states that she loves link but allso where in the Japanese version does it say that they lived together do you have a link to someone that translated it?
There's also the ending where Zelda refers to Link's embrace of her when she was falling as warm and loving. Also I had no idea that the Japanese version straight up says Link and Zelda's house, I hate how the English version keeps censoring this stuff! Can't wait to see Link's translated Japanese journal entries, there HAS to be lots of juicy stuff in regards to his feelings for her. Regardless if it's confirmed if they're in a relationship or not, we can all tell they are, even Zelda's voice actress believes so.

If Zelda and Link aren't a couple, then who else could either of them be with? Think of everything that connects them across the two games: stopping Ganondorf together, Link nearly dying twice, Zelda's magic awakening specifically due to her desire to protect Link and Link willing to throw himself in front of any danger to protect her, Zelda spending a hundred years holding Calamity Ganon at bay until Link heals, and then spending thousands of years (thinking she would permanently sacrifice herself) to return to Link with the Master Sword, them communicating with eachother while separated by thousands year. There is no one else that either one of them could ever possibly forge the same bond and connection that they've built with eachother. If there was any ambiguity about before, there is certainly no way that they're not a couple by the end of Tears of the Kingdom.
Video games don't often have kiss scenes because they just look awkward and bad. The 3D models awkwardly clip. Additionally, japan prefers subtlety and subtext with romance, and there's more ways to depict romance than how an american movie does it
Also beardbear forgot some scenes, like sonia and rauru wanting to meet the boyfriend.

Xenoblade 3 did it.
I appreciate xenoblade chronicles 3 even more because not only do they establish the extent of the relationship but didn't back peddle on having them kiss at least once.

Well I say besides skyward sword and the ending of the oracle games this is one of the more romantic relationship of the main two characters and while I doubt we gonna see them go further cutscene wise who knows if they became full on married couple in the future
This was one of the few games where Nintendo could get away with something legitimately romantic…. But since they didn’t I will just assume that they do live happily ever after together 😌😌
Minish Cap and Spirit Tracks also indicated a romantic relationship between the two to and Zelda is the last of the Royal bloodline and Link is the closest male friend/love interest she has so she probably ends up with him hopefully that hinted in the next game or dlc
I wouldn't be surprised if the next game makes a reference to the old king and queen of Hyrule that defeated the Demon King, with the clear implication being that it's this game's Link and Zelda.

Link has failed to save someone he loved in the past (Mipha). He isn't going to let this happen again (Zelda).
I don't think he loved Mipha romantically, it seems really one sided since Mipha states link always looked past her, didn't express himself as much as he used to, and link doesn't open up to her unlike Zelda. I feel like link loved Mipha as more of a sister or friend than a lover.
@@wace9174I personally agree but I wouldn't mind if Link did love her romantically, though the relationship still would have ended tragically regardless since the Zora, as of Breath of the Wild, can live for several centuries.

If you finished a side quest with the singing Rito in BOTW, he'll tell you a special story he learned which is basically Zelda being in love with someone for a long long time (Link)

Most Zelda games Link and Zelda are platonic but Skyward Sword, Minish Cap, Spirit Tracks, and Breath of the Wild they are romantically involved so I believe they are romantically involved in Tears of the Kingdom since it's a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild and in that game it's already confirmed Zelda has feeling for Link but I agree with you that some relationships should remain platonic in movies, shows, or games but thats not the case here lol
@@wace9174 They are not romantically involved in Breath of the Wild. In that game Link doesn't even remember her until he recovers his memories, and when he eventually does you find out he was romantically involved... with Mipha.

@@wace9174 Zelda having feelings for Link is not the same as him having feelings back. And there are other kinds of love beyond romantic. I don't doubt that Zelda and Link love each other, I just think the love is platonic because we never actually see them interact romantically.
Meanwhile, Mipha created the Zora armor specifically to propose to Link, and Link wearing that gear with no objections is a major plot point in BOTW. Also, in the Japanese version of BOTW the adventure log is written as Link's diary, so you get a better sense of his character. There, Link refers to himself as Mipha's loved one. In the context of Mipha planning on proposing to Link, this seems very explicitly romantic.
