I don't have to tell Koreans how insulting it is to reject someone's gift... especially a gift of food. Even in my Canadian culture, it is also a rejection of a person when a gift is rejected, even food. It's like "I'm offering you food because I'm concerned you might be hungry. And I want you to feel comfortable and I think you might enjoy eating this food." And for that sentiment to be outright rejected?? That's so cold and cruel!

I think he was also on "Beat Coin" during "Face" promotions and Jimin is at least kinda friends with him and has drunk alcohol at his house. If I remember correctly he was also on Suchwita. I think in an analysis of the episode he was even called brave because he confronted his own former tendency to go along with more "powerfull" people instead of having his own opinion. BTS got me into KPOP and when i see how they are treated compared to other groups that formed after them, I feel sorry, because life is just unfair to them especially and they overcame it so I'm also proud.
Yes, look at BTS now, but the discrimination, racism and xenophobia against them is still going on today. This is not something that only happened in the past. Just an example: look how Jimin’s Like Crazy #1 was treated by Billboard, how RM was maligned for listening to a song, the list keeps going on. They all must have very strong mental constitution to put up with all this for so many years, as a group and now individually.
Agree that this level of discrimination still exists…and unfortunately this does NOT even address the added level of sabotage from within…now at its PEAK! Their songs like Serendipity, Louder Than Bombs, Blue & Grey, and Truth Untold are so beautiful! Is this Hip Hop? Who's to say what Hip Hop or isn't? I love Hip Hop! My youth was the late 80's and early 90's. That was the time of the birth of Hip Hop! BTS Hip Hop is not Western Hip Hop! It's Korean Hip Hop! So it's going to be different! You can't expect it to be identical. When I watched American Hustle Life, I was truly disturbed. Here BTS went to LA to be schooled about American Hip Hop... and it all begins with them being abducted? They're in a van and suddenly two Amercian strange men essentially "car jack" it with the guys inside. I don't know if it was staged and BTS were in on it, but they look hella scared to me!Watch it and tell me what you think... Anyway... there were so many cringy moments (feeling racist) in American Hustle Life, I just stopped watching it. Like they were being mocked for their style of Hip Hop... like it wasn't really Hip Hop and they needed to be educated on what the genre really was about. F*ck that... that's not fair. I love Western Hip Hop from the early 90's... and BTS can't be compared to it... BTS Hip Hop is unique and their own. And I love it just as dearly. I haven’t listened to any BTS songs nor have I really looked into their history, but I do know that they helped pave the way for k-pop in western culture and for how a lot of functions/ activities within the k-pop industry. They really helped create an entire shift in the industry. Mad respect for them and all they endured and powered through ❤

I've been seeing kpop stans, especially fans of Skz and NewJeans saying that their respective groups are "catching up to BTS" now and it annoys/angers me to no end. No hate to the groups but they had it VERY easy as compared to BTS. None of the present kpop groups are even halfway close to BTS, whether its album sales, spotify streams or selling out the biggest stadiums in the world. Korean and the Western industries are _scared_ of BTS and the power their fandom holds. They've been sabotaged every way possible and it still keeps happening time to time again. It hurts, but they're still top of the world and they'll always have armys.

I can't say for other people but more likely these people don't mean "Our guys now have made it to exactly same level" but that in the whole world there are just few kpop groups who have made it to the really international fame and love of hundreads of millions. And especially with their own hands and through a lot of hate and problems (like almost every bad thing from this video - we've got this shit too, so I can relate). And arguing about who's bigger kind of strange (everybody in the world loves diffrent styles of music, dances etc), though BTS will forever be the first ones who made kpop known all over the world and really paved the way. And if fandoms weren't fighting every now and then between themselves like 14y.o. girls things would be better for every group

They are the real inspiration even for non army like me. ( I started knowing them recently though i have already heard about them from their fans around me and also listened to their popular songs like dynamite and butter at that time and i also liked life goes on but never knew it was bts at that time bcz i never cared to search for them bcz i was never into music that much. Now all kpop groups and soloists have social media presence and variety shows bc of BTS! Before, the majority promoted on tv shows and bc the big3 always has more power in media, their artists were always at the top. That's why when a group like BTS, were doing well, they wouldn't believe it and think it was charts and sales manipulation. After BTS won a Billboard award for Top Social artist, they starting checking everything BTS does and now try to get everything they get. Since then they open social media and created their own variety shows, plushies and basically all the same lol. Now, small artist have more opportunities to be recognized by the public and get fans which is good, but still the big 3 power in Korea media is really strong, but no internationallt. Yep I remember when in UK we couldn’t buy mots 7 with members photocards. We got only group photocard so we won’t buy multiple copies of albums. Big hit wasn’t allowed to put any member photos in uk album to prevent from multi buying. Ridiculous

I'm OK with any of them, learning more information about their pre-debut, talents and positions will make you notice their input as a group and also as individuals more. They are way more athletic and talented than you think.
BTS got me into KPOP and when i see how they are treated compared to other groups that formed after them, I feel sorry, because life is just unfair to them especially and they overcame it so I'm also proud.
That’s why BTS treat the new groups so kindly because they didn’t have that when they were new.
Yes, look at BTS now, but the discrimination, racism and xenophobia against them is still going on today. This is not something that only happened in the past. Just an example: look how Jimin’s Like Crazy #1 was treated by Billboard, how RM was maligned for listening to a song, the list keeps going on. They all must have very strong mental constitution to put up with all this for so many years, as a group and now individually.
Agree that this level of discrimination still exists…and unfortunately this does NOT even address the added level of sabotage from within…now at its PEAK!

Yo... I've been an ARMY for two years. I never even looked at the hater sh*t! I just looked at the facts. Did you see their bag? Did you SEE their BAG? It's hella trophies! And it's hella thick! Whatcha think bout that? Whadda I think bout that? That's the reason why the haters are hella sick! I never listened to the hater's noise... EVER! Ya know what I was listening to? BTS music! Cause at the end of the day, it's about their music. I am a creative, artistically sensitive person and am very touched and moved by beautiful music. Their songs like Serendipity, Louder Than Bombs, Blue & Grey, and Truth Untold are so beautiful! Is this Hip Hop? Who's to say what Hip Hop or isn't? I love Hip Hop! My youth was the late 80's and early 90's. That was the time of the birth of Hip Hop! BTS Hip Hop is not Western Hip Hop! It's Korean Hip Hop! So it's going to be different! You can't expect it to be identical. When I watched American Hustle Life, I was truly disturbed. Here BTS went to LA to be schooled about American Hip Hop... and it all begins with them being abducted? They're in a van and suddenly two Amercian strange men essentially "car jack" it with the guys inside. I don't know if it was staged and BTS were in on it, but they look hella scared to me!Watch it and tell me what you think... Anyway... there were so many cringy moments (feeling racist) in American Hustle Life, I just stopped watching it. Like they were being mocked for their style of Hip Hop... like it wasn't really Hip Hop and they needed to be educated on what the genre really was about. F*ck that... that's not fair. I love Western Hip Hop from the early 90's... and BTS can't be compared to it... BTS Hip Hop is unique and their own. And I love it just as dearly. So... yeah... it's just pathetic and sad that people just can't celebrate music that's excellent and brings joy to so many people. BTS will not always be on top... someone else equally good will come after them... so why try to knock them down (cause y'all can't... they have to step down! Ok?) and just enjoy the beautiful music while they have their time in the spotlight. THEIR time... let them enjoy it while it lasts.
Only if people could accept the change and room for different types of music and creativity then the world would've been a better place. Some people just can't accept the uniqueness or the new things present to them. At least if they can't accept then just stop hating. There is an option to Ignore and be happy but no, they just want to hate it.
BTS and ARMY protecting each other is so nice. We have each other, and I hope that will last forever. I wish for every hate they get; they can prove that the hate is nothing and come back with 10 times, no 100 times that hate with success (I hope this makes sense). I've been seeing kpop stans, especially fans of Skz and NewJeans saying that their respective groups are "catching up to BTS" now and it annoys/angers me to no end. No hate to the groups but they had it VERY easy as compared to BTS. None of the present kpop groups are even halfway close to BTS, whether its album sales, spotify streams or selling out the biggest stadiums in the world.

I can't say for other people but more likely these people don't mean "Our guys now have made it to exactly same level" but that in the whole world there are just few kpop groups who have made it to the really international fame and love of hundreads of millions. And especially with their own hands and through a lot of hate and problems (like almost every bad thing from this video - we've got this shit too, so I can relate). And arguing about who's bigger kind of strange (everybody in the world loves diffrent styles of music, dances etc), though BTS will forever be the first ones who made kpop known all over the world and really paved the way. And if fandoms weren't fighting every now and then between themselves like 14y.o. girls things would be better for every group

Now all kpop groups and soloists have social media presence and variety shows bc of BTS! Before, the majority promoted on tv shows and bc the big3 always has more power in media, their artists were always at the top. That's why when a group like BTS, were doing well, they wouldn't believe it and think it was charts and sales manipulation. After BTS won a Billboard award for Top Social artist, they starting checking everything BTS does and now try to get everything they get. Since then they open social media and created their own variety shows, plushies and basically all the same lol. Yep I remember when in UK we couldn’t buy mots 7 with members photocards. We got only group photocard so we won’t buy multiple copies of albums. Big hit wasn’t allowed to put any member photos in uk album to prevent from multi buying. Ridiculous
