Those are SOO cute! They are like hotdog sliders. 🤣 RC Soda and Moon Pie, sounds perfect! Loved your sponsor of this video!!! 🥰Excited that you are close to being reunited with your Luv Sub! Stay warm, Jim & Michelle
As a kid growing up I got to go downtown every Saturday. I would always go to Pete’s World Famous Hot Dogs and get two dogs with ketchup, mustard, onions, relish, a bag of Golden Flake chips and a coke in an 8oz bottle. It was standing room only inside, so most of the time I stood on the side walk. Gus who owned the place was Greek like many of the restaurant owners in Birmingham. He recently died and his shop closed. His wife worked there with him. I took my wife there, so I was maybe 42 or so and she could not believe when I walked in he knew my order before I spoke. Great guy and great dogs! Safe travels
Thanks Cotton Tales and I loved that story about how he knew your order after all those years. I was getting excited to go there until you said they closed shop. Bummer...
Great vid as always! Now that i know where to order them I'll be ordering a set of chain-sox too. Regardng the local foods; For me it was a little diner in downtown Denver called "Sam's". My parents went there on dates in the 1940's, and all of my brothers and I had our first soda there and a Sam-dog or a Sissy Sam-burger. I took my own kids there when we visited Denver in the 1980s, shortly before they closed.
Thanks for watching! I was just about to right the name "Sam's" in our places to see until you said they closed. Bummer. And an early "Thanks" if you decide to buy some Chain Sox...
@@LuvSubbin I was corrected by a fellow Denver native! Sam's did NOT close and is apparently going strong - since 1927. So put them back on your list!
Thanks Mike! When you said Upstate I thought you meant Upstate New York. I looked up Skin's and they are of course in the Great Palmetto State. We'll go there soon.
Thanks for watching and the super nice support of our channel! It will certainly go towards our beer tab. We have fun making our videos and it always makes us happy when others find them educational and/or entertaining.
You need to try local hamburger restaurant in Lima,Ohio. Kewpee Hamburgers are local mom and pop founded in Flint, MI, came to Lima in 1928.And our grandkids dip french fries in their frosty. Thanks again for your videos.
Thanks for watching! We'll put Kewpee's on our list for when we go to pick up our Airstream in a few weeks from Jackson Center, Ohio. You'll know that you inspired us to visit!
Always fun to learn about local foods with you guys, thanks for sharing your adventures 😊
Thanks as always for watching! We love the local food videos as well but can't wait to get the Airstream back!

3” hot dogs -- who knew -- now we gotta go - thanks for sharing 🍻
Thanks for watching! The Famous Hot Dog place was super local with an awesome "dive" interior. We loved it.

YES!!! There is someone else that dips their fries in their shake. I can bet that you were teased over doing that too. LOL
Thanks for watching! My favorite was always the McDonalds fries with a chocolate shake. That was back when McDonalds fried them in beef tallow...
100% true!!
Nice video! The Upstate has the world famous Skin’s Hotdogs! They’re longer than 3 inches! Safe travels!

Stop by and see where the f150 is made
Thanks for watching! It is totally on our list. We'll try and see if Ford could give a couple of dopey TH-camrs special access...
Ketchup ... I would disagree! ... nice little doggies, though ... and chili on your fries is a nice move ... four dogs, a bold order
Thanks for watching! The ketchup did seem weird but we will usually take the recommendation of the waitress. The dogs were indeed delicious.
First😂
Maybe we need to do an Honorary 2025 Luv Subby for most viewer "Firsts"!
