@@pleasantdashi7112 Idk what tutorial you're talking about, but it's the tyrant dragon model by Truong yes. I'm not using the rig though as I made my own in UE, and a customizable dragon model is being worked on right now that will replace the current dragon model.

This game is my first ever patreon supported project. I had to after stumbling upon this guy's channel and scraping my jaw off the floor watching the videos. He's got the vision for the perfect dragon game/experience/Targaryen simulator.... whatever you want to call it. I'm here for it.

I like the attention to detail with the wings and fins and other parts of the dragon getting blown around like there’s cloth or kawaiiphysics attached to it. You can be a newbie indie dev and just buy a premade dragon asset but those physics would take quite a bit to set up.

Just watched an episode of HoTD and I’m wanting this game even more!!!!
I hope they will take their time and built the game up confidently with all of it's cool features and not some early release full of bugs and lagging all the time. Personally I find it looks absolutely gorgeous and you won't get me out of the rain or highlands.
Great video that gives me some info about the game and I'll gladly be patient if the game comes out without anything to spoil the experience. Thank you Ser Sidenius for your hard work, all the patrons for the increased budget and of course all the other dragon obsessed people hyping and supporting.

This one guy is soloing a dragon game and hes already absolutely demolished all other competitors in the genre. Bloody hell now that is qhat you call a true game developer
I think what really sells it is the way the physics simulate the weight. It's tough for us to truly imagine how something that fucking big could fly like this. The way the body fluidly follows the momentum and also expresses how strong those wing muscles must be to propel with such strength and stamina. I could watch a 10 hour long video of this, with the rider flying through every weather condition and landscape imaginable.
I’ll keep an eye out for this project.

I found this game a week or so ago (from their medieval airstrike short) and I haven't recovered since!!!

To here the wind pressure against its body, to do acrobatics or watever it's called with dragons, just to see it's powerful wings beating against the wind as they flap just breathtaking🤩 I hope he might consider console as well 😅 anyways game is freaking beautiful and amazing😍😍
The one thing I’d want added would be saddles. Poor rider looks like he’s barely handing on during those flips makes me anxious
The dragon has similar colouration to Vermithor from Asoiaf.

Just found this on YT shorts not long ago and joined the discord. It's amazing quality and the creator's favorite show is GoT and it shows 😍 I know its still at least a few years away but I hope he's able to startup his studio and build a team that can help him bring it to consumers a little faster ❤ regardless I'm going to preorder asap

I know this isn’t a HotD or GoT based project - but I hope they make something like a “Skies over Westeros” expansion pack with dragon models from that series. Would be cool to fly a Caraxes into battle burning sh1t to the ground!
For that they'll need permission from HBO and George RR Martin. And the big companies will probably try and take over to make lots of money from the game and end up ruining it.
@@DanyaZwiegelaar There are always mods. If the game gets popular enough and has good mod support....I can just about guarantee eventually dragons from GoT and other popular franchises (maybe Smaug from the Hobbit) will get added in

I found this game during my dragon fan phase which I’m still in and don’t intend to leave it

Looks gorgeous, I will await its full release. I would throw all my money at this game if it looks like that.
I really hope you can interact with the dragon while it is 'stabled', help it grow powerful and do quests :)
This is awesome. I have said for a while that if someone was able to get the OK of G.R.R. Martin and create a House of the Dragon aka Game of Thrones game that I would never leave my house. Lol It would be so epic. Still have hope that we will one day have such an epic game.

Wyvern is a type of dragon almost like breeds of dogs.

I remember a dragon rider game from the 00s, its a fun concept... For the first 20 minutes or so, then its a boring repetition as you realize there isn't that many things you can do while dragonriding.

@@thebatman6201 I think it was called "Lair", but if you look at every other game that lets you ride a dragon, like skyrim, shadow of war and virtually any other, the dragon riding by itself isn't enough to be a compelling base gameplay and can only be fun as a quick, contrasting, distraction from the walking & questing. The game concept with dragonriding-only is doomed from the very start.
And I'm not stating that out of spite or pessimism, it's just objectively not enough unless you integrate a whole bunch of other mechanics with it, though even then it may only be enough for a short game.

Now that there are so many video games related to tv or movies coming out (hogwarts legacy, mad max, frontiers of pandora, the dune one that I forgot the name of), I think is the perfect moment to make a GOT open world video game, like an oficial Targaryen experience, im so fucking ready.
This is a dream, no way this is real, is flawless, how the hell someone can do that, that dragon is alive ! Moves better than in the HBO. I just hope isn't another scam that will break my heart

If you read the discord screenshots they've shown you'd know they don't have landing or walking animations yet. Consequently they are couldn't show those.

In what way is this interesting other than it's beauty? It does not appear to be any sort of game, just one of those animation projects floating around all over. This dragon even looks the same as the dragon used in the animation class being taught/offered by the guy who did the animations for GoT.
Tell us, Sidenius, what do you plan the gameplay to be? A flight simulator could be cool, if it is more interesting that these videos show. Is it single player? I can't imagine many rigs could run this in a multiplayer situation. Do you have a studio incorporated? Indie? What's the development roadmap? What kind of game is this?

I am literally praying that games with flight stop making the world spin with the flying creature/vehicle. Motion sick players are dying...
. This was the most negative comment I've seen over this game- wouldn't you think motion sick people would know by now that games with flight are going to be like a rollercoaster?? Plus I've been proud of the creator and the other developers for making something so glorious. At least be a little more neutral? (Not forcing as I am just as concerned for motion sick people)
If u have motion sickness don’t play the DRAGON FLYING games
It would be better to have the option to turn it off right away, rather than just getting rid of it completely.
