@@donbuckyxxx just curious if you've installed and fired your KP9 with the Fostech and if so is it as fast as the AKV9 with the Fostech?
@@johndoe12663 I had my friend install it and after tinkering with it for awhile (easing tension off the slide bolt). I was able to mag dump a 30 round mag in 2.68 seconds. So pretty close I would say. The biggest thing is getting use to the trigger reset on the new trigger.

I have fired alot of full autos and I actually prefer the ECHO. It's just so controllable and I love the ability to use it to do controlled pairs with one pull of the trigger. I have an 8 inch ar pistol with the "cheap" echo sport trigger in it and it gets on it like a drunk college girl in a cucumber field.

So the verdict is: if you can afford (and atm find) to blow five bucks worth of ammo in five seconds, buy a binary trigger

I got to have it, & fostech trigs are simply the way to build. Awesome vid again fellas. Its the short stroke system that makes it shot so fast along with light recoil of a 9mm. Perfect drug unit raid 🔫!

I've had a hard on for the 2-way triggers for years now and have run basically every model that's been released except for the AK and HK specific models. There is a lot of data showing that controlled pairs have the highest effect on target so there actually is a practical purpose for them to some degree. Of course volume of fire is pretty low priority for civilian use, but damn it's fun. I even run a 3 position binary trigger on my CZ Bren2 backpack gun that can get up to the 650-750rpm mark before there are hammer follow and bolt bounce issues. I had a DoubleTap trigger on a 9mm Kriss Vector that was insanely fast but didn't have a single shot position. Though with a 9mm PDW, you may want to put 2 rounds in anyway so maybe it wasn't too much a problem.

How’d that install go ? Did you get it in & if so how much did you shave
I ran the symtech out of my 9-mm Taurus G3 had no issues whatsoever with feeding once I made sure after loading I gave it a couple taps to ensure the ammo was sitting right in the magazine. Ran great and you're right very very accurate.
I like the standard size magazine he starts with.

Love them so much I have 2... The Black one lives in the safe, and I shoot the OD Green one.. Both have ALG Triggers...
Garand thumb had his video on this "Pistol", The AKV9 is rock solid with no problems except; when you use magazine that are beyond 35 rounds then you'll have feeding issues. So just stay away from the drum mags and the crazy long 50 rounder mags and you'll be fine. 35 round mags are more than enough. And the answer is yes ( I own this firearm).
Any help would be appreciated. Not sure what to buy I have the AK V. Which trigger and extra parts should I pick up? Thanks in advance

I've got one and I have no idea why someone would replace the trigger because it comes with a great single stage trigger that breaks somewhere as you're pulling it. It's like a great S&W single stage trigger. I'd consider getting an Echo but 9mm is crazy expensive and the echo doesn't take advantage of the fact that the AKV has the full auto notch.
just a matter of time before this trigger is outlawed... wish people wouldnt even bring it to big brother's attention like this

@garryjones8216 I would not recommend wasting the money on this trigger. Mine has been repaired by fostech several times and the hammer snaps (cheap materials) every time. I yanked it out and put in an alg Ultimate.

that is so sick. i want to get one of these triggers for my ar soon. ive had my eye on one of these akvs too though think ill have to get one of those as well and get triggers for both. they seem like a lot of fun
watching this I wonder if Fostech has a plan to invent something similar for a reloading press.... :D because with that inside you must spent an hour on the range and the whole evening pulling that bloody reloading press lever to have enough ammo for another hour of shooting :D
You need to let people know you have to have a auto bolt carrier for the AKs

Man, you may have had more fun than MAC Tim on same set up buts it's a close call. Thanks for not gouging on the ATF about it. I'm sweatin bullets, so to speak, on binary and braces. May be a country song in there. (autocorrect or whatever put "dong" for song. HTH that happen?)

If they can improve the reliability of the AKV a bit more (I only need the standard mags to be reliable) it's a must own. Such a cool and good looking gun.
I was getting stove pipes every now and then.... i removed the aluminum spacer haven't had a single issue since.... feels like it shoots smoother also....
