- Today we take a closer look at the newest Border Models release. I hope you enjoy this glimpse at the plastic, instructions and other box contents. There will be an after-build review in the future as well.

Nice review!👍
I have the first kit they made, the Panzer IV F2 with the Schurzen. Haven't built it yet, but upon inspection of the kit's contents I was very impressed with the quality. There is a helpful TH-cam build video of that kit, which shows a couple of deficiencies in the instruction manual that need to be fixed. The build seemed to have came out nicely.
I agree with your comment about Dragon. I like their kits but don't care for the parts count and instructions sometimes. My own example, I'm finishing up the Blitz Models Panzer III M, and it was a pleasure to build and practically fell together! So I got hooked on Panzer III's and had the Dragon Panzer III J, Initial production, # 6463, in my stash, and decided to build it. It went together fine, but not like the Blitz Models kit🙄
Just made me a fan of Border Model, as I've just seen these for sale for the first time and they looked good on the CAD drawings. Cheers.
Glad you like it.
Great review. Looks like an awesome kit. Its funny there are so many modeling companies that I can't afford all that I want. When I started building models back in the 70s you could count military tank kits on one hand. Even if you lost three fingers hahaha. Really looking forward to your build video 👍
Yeah right now we are basically in modelling heaven. All the nice kits out there and too little money.
Looks like a great kit. Looking forward to seeing this kit built.
Great review.
Metal barrel is a L48, pz 4 f2 and early g use L43
Isn't that "turret ring" the MG 34 traverse mechanism that goes atop the commanders cupola?
I don’t think so. The p Iv didn’t have the m34 traverse on the cupola
