Good Job! The only feedback I can share is that Dan plays this in downstrokes. As someone who's learned this song too, I can say it's a forearm burner, but it does sound better and more percussive played with downstrokes provided you can sustain it. Took me a couple of weeks to build up the endurance for it.
Dan is a beast with the down picking! I never started to learn it until recently so my way behind but im getting better! Hopefully in the future i can do it a bit more
I feel like the open riff isn’t alternate picked but just heavy down picking and open bottom 2 strings for a more power cord feel?? But I really like the sound of the alt pick. I just don’t know which is how they play
@@notanschuck9413 dude I think it’s even more impressive that it’s alternate picked. The open mute open , down up down… tried that out and it’s hard lol!!
Amazing cover bro 👌 🔥🙏 was wondering ( i assume you're using a Digitech Whammy pedal for the pedal , thats what i use lol the Digitech Drop to be exact, the big boy lol ) what settings did you set it on to get the sound for it like at the part of the solo , like how pitch wise how far up or down did you go. I recently got one for the first time , hopefully im explaining it right lol 😆
To be honest i didnt know how to use the whammy pedal properly when i made this, so i transcribed it on a different guitar that was in standard (the track is in drop B) and then put a 1ve up effect on it. But im going back through slowly and redoing the transcriptions so ill be able to do it properly when i do that :D
@notanschuck9413 ah ok no problem bro, and thank uuu 🙏. Hoping to try and learn this down the line , especially that solo lol. Looks too fun to play once you master it
@notanschuck9413 also forgot to ask you say Drop B , is it B Standard like BEADGBE on a 7 string or actual drop B B F# B E G# C#? Got a little confused there lol did you do this by Tab or by Ear? Edit: also didn't know if you were doing the Transposing yet for the pedal and other stuff etc but if you do, remind me in this comment lol wanna get every detail I can for tone , sound , right pitch etc . Thank you again 🙏
@@thehunter7422 I transcribed this one by ear and there was no live footage at the time so i just winged it :D my 7th string isnt played so its X BF#BEG#C#
Tuning always in description! This one is in Drop B (But i used a standard E guitar with 1 octave up effect for the solo, supposed to be with a whammy pedal though)
Hey Daniel, If you know the riff im not sure how i can help but i would suggest the program "Transcribe" as you can slow the song down and jam along at the correct pitch. Helps heaps!
This is my favorite Disturbed song and this cover was absolutely amazing. It makes the song sound even harder than it already is.
!! gg !! good job on this video pal :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That cover was incredible! Great job!
I was looking for a cover to have some clues on how to play it.
Wasn't disappointed.
Great work, and thank you
Amazing, we want cover for disturbed Don't tell me💜
Very impressive technique on the solo 🔥

Great cover mate! Seen a few of your other videos as well. Superb sound quality and tight playing!
Keep shredding homie !!!
you have such an amazing sound!! how do you record your guitar?
Thanks! This is just Axe fx2 into reaper
The moment with the solo here is weird) But I am will waiting "Feeding the fire" 🔥
I dont have the whammy Pedal so i used an Octave effect on the whole solo 😅. Feeding the fire coming next week!!!
Fantasic.
Very fucking well done. 🤩🤘
Sick ;D

99.9999% of disturbed riffs are down picked. That's how Dan writes them but I can't hold down picking that long so I try where I can 😅

Would you mind giving an intermediate rhythm/ chorus lesson bro?
I can play it, just can't follow you at full speed.
