The $10 off $30 survey coupons have been gone for many years. That "hack" will definitely not work anymore.
I laughed so hard when they mentioned that!😂 There is also no longer a three-day grace period.
As a BBW associate just want to throw it out there that some stores have stop the 3-day grace period on emailed coupons, any store that has had their system updated cannot override that option so if the coupon is expired or not from your own email but a coupon site it will not go threw.
Also in your email it will completely erase the barcode once expired!

The thing I have always hated about Bath and Body works is just how many different product categories they have introduced and discontinued. Like Lip balm, body butter, shaving cream, etc.
I think they re-introduced the lip balm and body butter (but only for a few scents)
After 3 years back again now you can buy shaving cream balm. There’s now many collections men’s

I worked for BBW for 10 years and STILL buy their products! As I watch this story, the whole “Kate” story was before my time, but there for most of the newer fragrances. Brown Sugar Fig was the bomb! Loved it!
Had to laugh about sweet pea. It's been my all time favorite for more than 10 years and I'm from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 😂

I think they have the best smelling bath stuff. I miss their makeup and skin care. They had a peppermint face scrub I loved. It was amazing.
Same. I just absolutely loved their sheet face masks. Wonder why they stopped.
Stores no longer do the 3 day grace period. They got rid of that shortly before the pandemic. Also stores are cracking down on coupons- if you don’t physically have it on you, you can’t use it. They also no longer use outside sources like retail me not, I think it’s great for what they are doing with the coupons. No longer ignorant people can walk all over an associate with the previous usage of endless coupons!

This is showing my age...but my favorite scents were “Sun-Ripened Raspberry” and “Flowering Herbs”. They do re-release Sun-Ripened Raspberry annually but is NOT the same exact scent
Yes flowering herbs was my first scent from them, and you are correct Sun-ripened raspberry doesn’t smell the same. I was so excited to think it was coming back in it’s original 90’s formula.😭

Gabrielle Robertson yes, they both were, flowering herbs is discontinued, but sun-ripened raspberries they re-released.
None are, different manufacturers, different ingredients, etc. seems more watered down too
I wish they would bring back Black Currant Vanilla. It was my all-time favorite!
Their sensual massage oil was amazing too, same scent
They MIGHT have it for Semi Annual Sale online it started today and usually lasts a month. I'd keep checking every day. They did bring back some retired scents 😁

Just an FYI, BBW no longer offers the three day grace period for coupons that have expired. Also, you cannot return a fully burnt candle. This is a supposed hack that's been around for years and it isn't even true. If you buy a candle, burn it a couple of times and don't like the scent, you can return or exchange it for another candle. But not if you've burnt the whole candle, as you've used it all.
Idk why people expect that lol. You literally burt the whole candle expected a return or anther candle lol. The store can't sell something fully use thank you for breaking that down.

I don’t think I’ve ever paid full price there. I just wait for a sale to come up and stock up. I bought like 19 foaming hand soaps for $3.25 each.
Even though I love their products what I don't like is you have to live in a certain state. I spend a lot of money every month and never received any coupon mailings. Which is unfair. When I asked the cashier she was rude and abruptly said I don't have anything to do with that. So I called customer service and she said I would have to update my mailing address. Which I did 3 months ago and still nothing. One rule should apply for all.

I am so over BBW.
They don't have an online shopping platform for Canadians. Canadians who used US site to order during pandemic ended up paying about 1.5 - 2 times the regular price. US site charges in USD. As a result, depending on your credit card, there are fees involved for USD to CAD conversion. Then there's international shipping fee as well as import duties.
I get that BBW is a business and duties and credit card fees are not something they can control. However, I do think they could've been more lenient with international shipping fees to Canadian shoppers who couldn't go to any physical stores.
In addition of all these extra charges, not everything is ship-able to Canada (e.g. aerosol sprays) and shipping can take nearly a month. Numerous people have been calling out BBW for their lack of Canadian site for ages in their Instagram and BBW have been mum about it. All I can say is that they need to get their act together if they wish to retain their consumer base in Canada.
Bath & Body Works has an online Canadian store now and the deals are actually better than the comparable ones in the US and shipping is quick and I live in a rural area in Ontario.
Bath and Body works is starting to suck....it's more alcohol than fragrance now.
I love bath and body works, 💕loyal customer here. just recently did a huge haul. Glad they’re bringing back some original scents. Great video, I enjoyed hearing the facts. I heard Victoria’s Secret owned them? Wonder when that merger happened.
We’ve been owned by L Brands for many years and that company owns VS, Pink and BBw. But we’re about to split off in August. It was just announced yesterday. BBW will be it’s own company.

Out of 5 locations in my area, they've only reopened 2. It's a smart move considering online sales and CV-19. The days of the MALL are coming to an end like DOWNTOWN shopping.
Here in nyc they only have one store open and when I went it was busy.
They had like 40 bottles of soaps at each sink 😂 and all the associates were handing out shots of hand sanitizer all around the store.
This is intentionally done by our Government to destroy businesses. Main goal is to kill all small businesses. Unfortunately chains will go down with them.
All these sales, coupons, marketing strategies etc.are not the most important things for the consumer. All companies have their own: the good ones and not very, the more and the less effective.
My main concern with the BBW products is their ingredients. They’re not safe. About a half of ingredients on any product are pretty darn TOXIC!
I ditched them out of my life completely.
The quality of Bath and Body Works products have really plummeted since 2020. I don't look for them to survive if the quality continues to go down. Also, when you order online, be careful because they tend to send out products that have previously been returned. And there is no email address for customers to use if they have a problem or question.
What I do know is Bath and Body Works has lured me away for a good while! I've been a loyal, compulsive shopper since 2008. This "semi sale" this year....DISAPPOINTING! 👎🏽

@@QueenNikki82 They had started their semi sale first with indoor sales. So now there are only limited stores that are open. They used to have 75% off discount with both online and in-store, now it is only 75% off in the limited opened stores. Bottom line, there sales are just not as good as it was last year. Plus they did give out any coupons. From other people it sounds like it was going on much longer.

Back in 2003 they had a scent called Vetyver.....it was amazing..but now it is gone. I was told that it was too sophisticated for the B&BW customers. Grrr
A lot of candle makers make vetiver candles. Check out Etsy!
They brought out Lavender Vetiver for Spring 2022 and it’s really good! It smells sophisticated and a little sexy
My favorite scent of all time was the SUN DRENCHED VINEYARD wall flower / candle scent. It came out when the wine collection came out a few years back. For a while they still carried the wall flowers then they just stopped. I was so upset. Seriously one of the best scents ever for home fragrance. Yet they keeper the god awful black cherry Merlot from the collection and ditched the rest! So infuriating!
I love their aromatherapy, I hope they'll bring back the fall scents like the Thankful and Peaceful. They should have a Lemon and Eucalyptus aromatherapy, or have an aromatherapy with lemon in it. Ps, does anyone know if the Comfort Vanilla and Patchouli is going to be discontinued? I seen it on sale with Balance, Passion, Sleep and others, and the stuff wasn't restocked-just gone. I really hope they don't get rid of Comfort, it's one of my favorites!!! :
I love Peaceful! I don’t know why but I only bought the body cream when it came out and I’ve regretted not buying the entire line ever since. I hope it comes back!
@@chelseacarrington1110 Peaceful smells sooooo good! Ever since It got discontinued, it's been hard to find, I remember when they sold the pocket bacs, I'm also regretting not getting more of them. But I DO know a place where some of the discontinued scents of aromatherapy (and maybe more) is sold for like cheap besides shipping! I bought me some products from this place before! I can give you the link if you want! :)

I work there and I hate that we are forced to damage and trash still good products instead of taking them home or donating them. Employees are NOT given any good discount or even a livable salary, the checks are small and the management clearly plays favorites, it is NOT worth it, I get just as good products for a lot less from places like Target

I have shopped at Bath and Body Works since the beginning, and I have really seen their product quality plummet during the past several year. They no longer have shampoo but only the products that can be made in bulk, they no longer have the variety they once had, and the products now barely even have a scent...and they have skin irritants in them that cause itchiness...they have become a candle store instead...they really need to make some changes or risk losing customers
Quick story:
So me and my friends went here and there was a sign out the front of the store something like $15 body mists, lotions etc. so when we asked if they are still doing the deal. They said that they can’t sell any of those items from the sign which makes it false advertisement and then they took the sign away.
My all-time favorite product is the shower gel "Into the wild", sadly discontinued.
It's a pity that they don't have some retail stores, or at least one store here in Germany. 🇩🇪

Unfortunately, We don't have a bath and body works store here in Belgium.
I like the Pecan Waffles body mist and Forever Red. I do have to say their scents are "truer" in smell than Victoria's Secret. I always get complaments when I wear BBW

When did they relaunch sunripen raspberry? That was my first ever sent I bought at bath & body works.
Had purchased products recently but was seriously disappointed.
They said for 140 dhrs for 2nos of frankincense myrrh body wash we would get 2 free on their site.
I didn't get it and called their customer service and was Balantly refused saying that I should have put the quantity in the order. They said their Manager would call back but didn't get any call.
Wrote to them but no response yet.
Very surprised and feeling distressed at their service.

Does anyone remember Sunburst Melon? It was one of the original scents and sooo much better than Cucumber Melon. My other scent was Strawberry.
