Vivo and iqoo are not sub brand. If anyone knows even basic of tech will never say this. Vivo x100 pro beats samsung iPhone and pixel flagships in rear camera performance. It's a known truth. Just that majority of common people know nothing about tech and for them brand means iPhone, samsung, pixel and at last one plus.
iQOO 12 definitely has better rear cameras. Even the text at 09:27 on iQOO was much clearer than the blurry text on OnePlus. I'll choose the iQOO 12 over OnePlus 12 as well as Vivo X100. The only thing I wish iQOO 12 had was a 32 MP front camera.
x100 pro+ will probably beat both and be the true flagship killer, just OS is slightly worse due to funtouch OS which is required for Android Auto etc.

I can assure you FunTouch OS is very good, and better than Colour OS. You just need to disable a few apps and block their internet access using a firewall. Pixel is the worst device for its price. I would consider one if they sell for half their current price.

Am astonished to see how bad the Oneplus camera performs in the main section which people commonly uses like the telephoto, low light, ultra wide, portrait. Colour balance and bloom issue omg. This can't be a flagship quality camera in a flagship phone. Camera is an important feature for people who wants to go out and click photos and they mostly do it with the rear cameras. I wish only if the camera was a little better with those issues gone; anyone I mean anyone would pick the Oneplus 12 because of brand value and almost head to head gaming performance. But again price would be a factor. Loved the detailed review though.

The problem with Oneplus I faced is, it works exceptionally well for 1st year. It starts deteriorating after 1st major update. Performance gets choppy, battery life gets down and with each year, the problem gets worse and worse. Also the update rollout is very inconsistent. It was okay if device price is around 30k. But not acceptable for flagships
Using oneplus 9 pro. Got 3 major updates. Still performance is top notch. I don't know which phone you are talking about. I have oneplus 7 pro as secondary device and device is still rocking even after 5 years .

Watching this in my IQOO-12. I had the option of picking one of them but I went with IQOO because, I might not be user who can bring out so much from the camera of a phone. One thing I have experienced after using OnePlus all these years ...my friend has Vivo X90. Hasselblad collaboration is a gimmick.... totally useless Zeiss camera/lenses are way way above hasselblad This is why OnePlus is underperforming in front of the IQOO in terms of camera.

I have S23 256gb variant and I prefer that over Oneplus. I was about to upgrade to S24 Ultra but the trade in value was not coming upto the mark and the pre booking offers werr not good. Like Samsung should have offered Galaxy Watch 6 for those who pre book S24 series and go for S24 ultra but it wasn't the case. There are 3 phones under the same prices and they are S23, Oneplus 12 and Vivo X100. S23 is an older generation phone but the premium one. And if you have other Samsung devices like watch or tab then this will become a cherry on cake and you should consider this. But if you are looking for newer phone. Then you will need to check out more Oneplus 12 and Vivo X100 and select anyone.

The problem with Oneplus I faced is, it works exceptionally well for 1st year.
It starts deteriorating after 1st major update.
Performance gets choppy, battery life gets down and with each year, the problem gets worse and worse.
Also the update rollout is very inconsistent. It was okay if device price is around 30k. But not acceptable for flagships
Using oneplus 9 pro. Got 3 major updates. Still performance is top notch. I don't know which phone you are talking about. I have oneplus 7 pro as secondary device and device is still rocking even after 5 years .

Iqoo far better in telephoto and ultrawide zoom if you are comparing with OnePlus 12 personally using iqoo 12 upgraded from previous OnePlus flagship that's suck it doesn't fullfill my performance need (not talking about gaming) it's lag too much and heated up after 1 hours random use but iqoo in any condition not single timely feel me laggy camera rear is personal choice but telephoto (potrait and zoom ) far better than the OnePlus,
Camera, performance everything is Best even in performance S24 ultra can't beat iqoo but Funtouch os is the deal breaker it feels like budget phone but that will be fixed if you use a different launcher.But haptics in OnePlus is next level I must admit and oxigen doesn't need any opinion it's superb.

Watching this in my IQOO-12. I had the option of picking one of them but I went with IQOO because, I might not be user who can bring out so much from the camera of a phone. Secondly for 10k less price near IQOO can bring out the same performance and after 2-3 years generally people tend to change their phones. So it's ok.

When I saw IQOO phone priced at 50k last year, I knew Chinese Smartphones has just messed up with the price brackets releasing in 2024. They have just gone bonkers.
OP12 is the better phone, it's just not about the camera, if you want a camera phone then you can buy pixel or Samsung. It is about the whole experience where OP12 has an edge.

I'd love to see the OnePlus 12 camera again after a few months. OnePlus doesn't often have things optimized at launch and patches did make a difference with the 8 Pro and 9 Pro.

I have S23 256gb variant and I prefer that over Oneplus.
I was about to upgrade to S24 Ultra but the trade in value was not coming upto the mark and the pre booking offers werr not good. Like Samsung should have offered Galaxy Watch 6 for those who pre book S24 series and go for S24 ultra but it wasn't the case.
There are 3 phones under the same prices and they are S23, Oneplus 12 and Vivo X100.
S23 is an older generation phone but the premium one. And if you have other Samsung devices like watch or tab then this will become a cherry on cake and you should consider this.
But if you are looking for newer phone. Then you will need to check out more Oneplus 12 and Vivo X100 and select anyone.
