My understanding is that I have been 'led' to make the following comments to/for you - for a very significant 'benchmark' in my growth into real 'Biblical CHRISTianity' was when I read the book 'The Heavenly Man' - the remarkable true story of Chinese Christian Brother Yun - with Paul Hattaway. The very real Biblical faith of brother Yun has been used to develop in me a real and deep love for "all saints" - the true worldwide body of "the Lord Jesus Christ" - and the desire to obey the Biblical COMMAND to "Put on the whole armour of God" in Ephesians 6:10-20, and also written about in 1 Thessalonians 5:23-28 [AV] While I know there is NO 'perfect church' - that which I read about the very real depth of actual Biblical faith in "the certainty of the words of truth" written in the Holy Bible by Brother Yun has very deeply affected me - and changed me from being an 'Independent Fundamental Baptist' into a non-denominational "believeth" follower of "the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" I am now looked upon as an 'odd ball' by most of those who are the very typical contented, complacent, and religious 'IFB' folks I went 'to church' with - including the 'Pastoral staff'. I have been given the opportunity to 'put shoe leather' on my beliefs, for I left the 'IFB' I had been a member of for nearly 10 years - because of an issue of unrepented pride by a staff member - and have been attending services since leaving the 'IFB' at - but I will not join - a small Biblically sound AV (aka KJV) 'Church of God' - for I am not an 'Amerikan pentacostal' - but I do "by faith" dogmatically believe that the Biblical 'gifts' in the New Testament do still exist - as they are administered by "the Holy Ghost" As a result of reading, and thinking about the Biblical truths (iaw 2 Timothy 2:15 | Acts 17:11 ~ AV) written about in 'The Heavenly Man' - I have developed a real hunger to worship and have true CHRIST centered fellowship with other real 'Biblical CHRISTians' - I am still looking and waiting upon "the Lord God Almighty". I do pray that my comments will be a real help to you, and to others: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Why Christians sings? It is because God loves human voices praising Him more than anything else, I was told when I prepared myself for my baptism almost 40 years ago. The Canaan Hymns is some of the most pleasing voices in prayers and praise the Lord. These people will walk for miles to join group prayers. It is the poor people who love God the most, evidently.
Praise GOD for all His precious gems in His Chinese underground Church as well as in His underground Church in the M-world. He kept them underground for His endtimes purposes. As He surfaces them, individually n corporately, they will bring Him great delight n glory.
Wherever the Light of Gods Spirit reaches tears are sure to flow a watermark that this is really happening. Even the filming is well done. God surely humbles the proud and lifts the humble to soar on eagles wings. He raises one nation to humble another. Thanks for posting.
