Just got say I love how the Tank's soldiers steps sync with the music at 1:13:31. I absolutely love it when music automatically syncs with what is going on in the video.
This game and FOC deserve a remaster. I would also love it if they could bring the transforming enemies into FOC. Would be extremely happy if they made Megatron's canon mounted on his arm like WFC rather than it being his arm. then finally after the remasters they make the third installment like what was originally planned. Uh I couldn't believe how the game devs (high moon studios) must have felt when Activision went and give the final installment to a different studio, and rise of the dark spark was what came out of it. Man that game was bad enough said.
They did try to do the Transforming part for FOC but due to the AI being too dumb to do it right for the normal soldiers (from what i read about why it wasn't in FOC compared to WFC) and possibly due to time since it was a 2 year dev time, you can see that it was probably for the best. Though if given the source code and plenty of time, I'm sure another studio or someone could make it work easily, maybe in a new engine.
i like to pretend that devastation is the 3rd game in the series set multiple years after they go through the portal and land on earth at the end of FOC
At long last it is here! Currently the longest video I have on the channel. I am sincerely sorry how long this took to get out, but I hope this turns out to be well worth the wait.
The soldiers in WFC were original while in FOC the soldiers were like frankensteins, each borrowing different body parts from main characters within the game. It was kind of lazy.
If you didn't know the engineer soldier 11:46 is actually similar to that ine soldier that we control at the beginning of the DS versions of wfc. Just look at his wheels on his back, they're actually similar just that this version compared to the ds version doesn't have neon lights and it's more buggy.
I've always been curious about the Autobot Protector so much so that I had this theory that maybe before the war they were like police for the cities of Iacon and even some acting as bodyguards for members of the High Council. After the war, I most likely imagine them as elite soldiers meant for high-risk missions basically the wreckers before the wreckers were formed.
the unarmored (no chest armor, mind you) decepticon tank makes me imagine the decepticons actually attempted to include dark energon in their engineering, while the unarmored autobot tank makes me imagine the autobots just slapped whatever they could that works and happened to successfully create the autobot tank's robot form

I’ve just noticed something, in the opening cutscene to Chapter I: Dark Energon, the Autobot Flyer seen is a kitbash of the Autobot soldier and the Autobot Flyer’s jet mode. You can tell it’s a different model because of its colours, legs, shoulders, chest and wing structure. I’m curious if it was a earlier model or if the people who did the cutscene just didn’t have access to the Flyer’s model and just kitbashed things together.
Those Autobot Engineers (and thus the concept art designs) I think was probably an earlier concept of the standard Autobot soldiers and were probably replaced with the final version besides the couple you see in chapter 2 I guess just my speculation. I think you see that body type in trailers and such, I think the DS version uses this design a bit (as the Autobot rookie, the white Autobot swarm victim, etc)

yeah about the autobot cloaker, maybe the reason why it can't transforms is because there isn't any vehicle mode assigned to it and if you attempt to transform the game looks for the vehicle mode but it's unable to find it and so on the game crashes
Man I miss the online so much. I got the game on Xbox 360 first. I finished up the rest of the game on my 3DS. (still has multiplayer thanks to local wireless) then I got the steam version. I played an online game by myself using just one lobby with Optimus Prime as a test. However it was one week before the servers got shut down I haven't played the game for a while......... (If I did play online mode on the Xbox 360 version) The Transformers war for Cybertron DS still has multiplayer local wireless though. I got three copies two decepticons and one autobot version....... This game will always be a masterpiece....

Hey! I know you must be getting this a lot, but if you could make your own video on how to do mods like these, that would be awesome and I think that could bring a lot more attention to your channel. Every video about modding these kinds of games is very difficult to follow through. I think if you made one it would be much better.
imagine a foc side-game wherein the decepticons on cybertron (under shockwave's leadership, mind you, since megatron left) salvaged whatever materials they could, and some of them end up encountering "zombified" autobot tanks in robot form

I don't mean to sound irritating, but how do you create the ROBODEF file for the Autobot sniper, and the sniper's variants? if you can't answer please post a link to a video explaining. I've been trying to figure this out for a while now.
That was accomplished by playing as the Machine Gunner soldier and swapping skeletons via a keybinding. It's a very specific sort of modding that I don't know if I can exactly give out at this time. I'll have to see what my fellow modders would have to say.

All the games I play, I play on PC. Unfortunately, getting WFC is rather difficult now since all the codes on Amazon have been sold. You could try your luck and see what you can find, but I honestly don't know where else to search.
That is done by swapping over ART files in the Cooked PC folder. You can replace over a certain section of a campaign map with that of another map. Though you usually need a teleport binding to get in it.
@Srikanth Ramprasad That is the tank in his fully damaged state. Before he is fully damaged though he has a decent amount of armor on his chest and back that is destructible that is lacking from the first form..

I was playing war for Cybertron I looked really close at the shotgunner and actually his textures are black on the areas the same as the other character he's just so dark in the map you can't see it so no it's not a problem with the multiplayer it's actually a problem with the model
Hey man could you tell me the code that allows you to use the brute' s hammer slam? Like the one that causes the big energy wave. Also can you tell me how to get rid of the "about to die" look when I play with soldiers
The only way I know of to disable that effect is to deactivate the hud, which is what I used while filming. I know of no fix for the sound issue however, that I had to modify after the video was recorded. As for the hammer slam, that is done by replacing the animation used for the Shockwave. I will try and cover that in more detail at a later time.

Technically the mod replaces over characters you play as like Bumblebee or Barricade. That's something that's very easy to do for WFC.

You have to play in specific checkpoint that have the characters loaded in or else they will crash the game.
