Ok... This was AWESOME! Thanks! Please forgive my ignorance, but at 9:54 why is there a knot in the plywood on the left side? (Edit: Turns out that isn’t a knot... Check out the replies below, and a big thanks to both FPP and Mr. Yates.) I was always told that this was “verboten” in aircraft construction. My guess is plywood is an exception depending on the grade, but your opinion here is golden! I just subbed to Yates and he is super cool. Thanks!
I do not believe that what you see is a knot. The plywood we send with the kits and especially the spar web ply is aircraft grade and perfectly clear of any knots or blemishes. Ply in other parts of the kit is cabinet grade and has patches where knots have been removed. It looks like Algy has been sanding in that area and something dark and circular is impersonating a knot.
Great work Reid! You belong with the clouds cuz.
How old is Reed Murphy’s FP101?
The company was started in about 1982-83 and the 101 was only offered for a couple years so 38 years or so??

Looks like he put a bottle of something down and it made a bit of a stain
Fisher Flying Products, thank you for your reply! I thought I was confused there a minute... I’ll edit the question so nobody gets confused!
