JT darlin' shipping from the UK to the US is expensive but I honestly think people don't mind the cost because we love to see how happy it makes you to receive things from your fans and most of us believe you deserve happiness and success. We appreciate your affection for us as much as you appreciate our affection for you. The negative comments on the last video (tasting test) were more about the way you expressed your dislike (which, to many, came across as insulting) and not the disliking itself. Sending love from the UK. 💗
I think no one has a problem with disliking, it's ok to dislike something but it was the way it came over. Again if you are a picky eater and dislike chocolate may be taste reaction videos are not for you. Perhaps a little more preparation beforehand (such as making a hot cup of tea in a gifted mug would have been a nice touch, a couple of plates to put your biscuits on maybe or checking sell by dates off camera and where you were going to put the packets once you had tasted the biscuits) and as the box was a big one perhaps as selection and choice you made was a bit random, there may have been less chocolatey ones in there to sample. Again we all belch, fart, wipe a runny nose and do things in the comfort of our own home but is this something you feel people really want to see globally and especially on a food tasting video. It's ok to be yourself, have some fun share your love but this felt so unlike what we have been watching and now leaves some people wondering are you for real (Genuine). If you really want to do this full time JT, have some kind of a plan as to where you want this to go, find your niche, if you really want to get to know the UK culture we live in and visit the UK in the future, do some reading and research in between videos and take it in .Don't see this as a way of getting freebies and putting little effort in as people will eventually see through it and there goes all the subscribers. Perhaps weave a gift or two into your video to show your appreciation (You've plenty of mugs and flags for a start!) Be creative, people are giving you lots of ideas and things so work with them!! Have the Queen cushion in the background on the bed or couch even. Check out a real football match, different types of pubs, a bit of comedy etc. It's ok to have some random fun, but never at the expense of another or showing off (Dave has had some 'flack' and comments for the choice of his biscuits and that feels sad. He didn't send them to have people take the piss out of him and I would say to those who have said they wouldn't have sent those 'unbranded' or 'crap' as they put it ones. Well where are your biscuits then? Why didn't you send any to JT?). Be spontaneous but be careful not to offend. We all make mistakes but most of us aren't on a global platform which is there for anyone to see and lasts for eternity. You have something there JT so please don't mess up, show us you really want this and more importantly learn from this. I am writing this because I do care and want you to succeed, but please take it from me, never take anything for granted in life. So proud you mentioned the Union Flag and Jack. The term Union Jack is only used when the flag is flown from the Jack Staff which is the pole mounted at the bow of a British ship. Otherwise it's always the Union Flag. Greetings from the Caribbean.
The term union Jack predates the existence of Jack Staffs. This 'fact' isn't actually true. - "When first introduced in 1606, the ‘Union Jack’ was known simply as the ‘British flag’ or ‘flag of Britain’, and was ordered to be flown from the main masthead of all English and Scottish ships, warships and merchant ships. The name ‘Union’ first appears in 1625, but what of the term ‘jack’? Various theories exist, but the bulk of the evidence indicates use of the word in its diminutive sense. Before 1600, ‘jack’ was certainly used to describe a small flag flown from the mast mounted at the end of the bowsprit; by 1627, a small version of the Union flag - later described as the ‘Jack’, ‘Jack flag’ or ‘King’s Jack’ - seems to have flown commonly in this position; and by 1674, this flag was described formally as ‘His Majesty’s Jack’ and in common usage - officially acknowledged - as the Union Jack. During the eighteenth century, the short mast on the bowsprit disappeared, to be replaced by staysails on the stays between bowsprit and foremast. The principal naval distinguishing flag had become the Ensign, so it grew customary to fly the Union Jack only in harbour - and from the ‘jackstaff’ (a specially rigged staff in the bows). Note therefore that the ‘jack’ predated the ‘jackstaff’ by over 150 years, with the term ‘jack’ orginally denoting size rather than position. It is sometimes claimed that the Union Flag should be described as the Union Jack only when flown in the bows of a warship, but this is a relatively recent idea. From its earliest days, the Admiralty often referred to the flag - however it was used - as the Union Jack. In 1902 an Admiralty Circular announced that either name could be used officially. And in 1908 the UK Parliament approved this verdict, stating that ‘the Union Jack should be regarded as the National flag’." This is a direct quote from Retired Cdr Bruce Nicolls OBE, a retired ranking British Naval office who is now the curator of the Flag Institute, the UKs national vexillological organization. He DEFINITELY knows about flags and their use, naval or otherwise.
@@markfisher8198 I mean, my point was you can call it either the Union Jack or the Union Flag and be completely correct. Pedantry doesn't even come into it because people who are like "actually it's the Union FLAG and it's only the Union Jack at sea..." aren't being pedantic, because pedantry requires you are correct in your assertion. The aren't pedantic; they are misinformed.
If JC ever gets to the British Isles and specifically Ireland, you have to go to South Armagh, Derry and West Belfast. Make sure you take that flag with you.

The reason shortbread is called shortbread is because there was a tax on biscuits and Scots are cheap so we called it bread to avoid the tax. I learned that from the Bake off.
I know it's this year's event isn't until mid May, but it would fun to see a Eurovision reaction! I don't know if you've head of it before but the Eurovision Song Contest is a singing contest (duh? lol) where countries in the European Broadcasting Union (there's a long explanation but short version is pretty much every country in Europe but Australia is in it too and a few other non European countries) compete. It's got songs of all sorts of... quality. Some are amazingly good, some are amazingly bad, some just make you go WTF? There's been some singers/bands in it you may have heard of before - Abba being the biggest name (representing Sweden) and also Celine Dion (representing Switzerland). You've quite possibly also come across the Epix Sax Guy meme - it's from a Eurovision performance from Moldova. But yes, Eurovision has everything from drag acts and cheesy songs, country music, epic ballads through to people dressed as monsters singing hard rock/metal. Part of being British is sitting down to watch the show (although some find it overly campy or just otherwise hate it), laughing at Graham Norton's commentary and then complaining all of Europe hates us when we get 0 points (we've not won since the mid 90s). I don't know what this year's event will look like with covid but there's loads of videos you could react to. Ones with most memorable songs/ones of best songs/ones of crazy events etc. It's not Eurovision though unless you've seen Verka with Dancing Lasha Tumbai and been confused.
Ah yes, but Dragon Hill, is not in Wales, but in England, it was in my Royal County Of Berkshire, but those low life in South Oxfordshire, stole it. It is said, that Dragon Hill, was the location where Saint George Slayed the Dragon! Whether true or false, it is a lovely location, with the famous White Horse, of the Vale Of The White Horse near by. So the Royal County Of Berkshire, demands it return!!!!

I have googled your local Town of Hardinsburg, good place to buy a tractor it seems, I saw a Bank, that looked more like a Gas Station, I suppose that's how farmers view Banks. I was amazed at the space, that was between business properties and private residency's. The neighbours probably freak out if you get too close to them. It looks like a clean and tidy locality, although every location has their rougher, or untidy parts. Google are crazy, as some parts of the Town was in Summer, and other parts were in Winter, with the Off & On Foliage game.
There is a section in Watford Museum dedicated to Elton John. There is also another part dedicated for the guy from Dad's Army as he served in the home front when he was a boy here in Watford.

Maybe not all of you know JT's history. He wrote two months ago: "My mom passed away when i was 4, I watched my uncle try to give CPR to my 4 month old cousin on my kitchen table, my dad was in and out of jail, my two older sisters dropped out of high school and moved out, by the time i was 10 i was raising my baby sister by myself. At 11 i got caught stealing food at a gas station, put in handcuffs and was threatened by police officers in front of my baby sister, (i was stealing food for her.) At 12 i was skipping school and breaking into houses to steal anything valuable, then i would take what i got to the pawn shop to get money to buy food. One year from July to November we didn't have water or electricity. I didn't have a mattress until i was 15." Breaks your heart.
Yes sadly the attitude of American society and government is "you're on your own, sink or swim". They care about babies being born, but once they're actually here they can starve.
If this is all true, then he needs a Medal for his suffering, but that does not help with the Bills. Now I see why his girlfriends parents let him stay. The one thing that he really needs, is to feel wanted and loved. He knows that we in the British Isles, have, or at least had, a brilliant system of social care, that use to help those that needed. Just keep it all Up Folks, I can see alone, that he love's us people over in these wonderful Isles, just return it, and he'll be fine!

Great watch as ever. Am glad to see you so full of energy and it was good to see your 'missus' on the last. Re the biscuits - you chose all the choccy ones but most of all YOU DIDNT DUNK THEM! They are supposed to be eaten whilst drinking (proper, hot english) tea (although you said milk - well ok)! jaffa cakes can be great when (quickly) dunked. The art is judging when they are full enough of tea that they will last the trip to your mouth. Hobnobs are icons. Fantastic when dunked. I was wondering if you thought of trying great british dishes? Easy to start with - Welsh Rarebit (rare as in not common and bit as in my teeth bit) White bread. Toasted on both sides of course. Place a thin layer of cheese on one side of the toast- slice or grated Worcestershire (woostershur) sauce on top and if you're posh a slice of tomato Place back under the grill (broiler?) until cheese is just melting and catching a brown colour at the edges. Remove and serve. You might think of the classic Scottish Haggis, tatties and neeps - although that might take some getting hold of. England - Battered fish, chip and Heinz Baked Beans in tomato sauce OR Mushy peas My local Student fare: Chips (thick ish fries) - 2 ounces (if not more( of grated cheese on top and then a portion of Beans (as above). I assume you will call your dragon 'Firey' ?? Sounds right - hes a dragon that spouts fire and you said 'firey' the first time you saw it. as if you haven't been told already CYMRU (cumree) is welsh for Wales. More coom ree actually! Basic Welsh Language Phrases - Bore da (Pronounced: Boh-reh dah): Good morning - Prynhawn da (Prin-houn dah): Good afternoon - Nos da (nohs dah): Good night - Croeso i Gymru (Croesoh ee Cum-reeh): Welcome to Wales - Iechyd da! (Yeh-chid dah): Cheers! (YAKKI DAH! my change. Word often used in jest against the Welsh just as Geordies are greeted WHAY-AY TH LADS) - Tafarn (Tav-arn): Pub - Diolch (Dee-olch): Thanks (DEE OLKK) - Da iawn (Dah ee-aw-n): Very good Thanks for everything, keep on trucking. BTW if you get a tattoo, please make it tasteful and reasonably sized. Remember that some things has doubtful connections, like the English and the Union flags can be used by dubious groups and people make judgements and view it oddly. meanwhile, look after yourself and your lady. I look forward to catching up soon

And in 1908 the UK Parliament approved this verdict, stating that ‘the Union Jack should be regarded as the National flag’."
This is a direct quote from Retired Cdr Bruce Nicolls OBE, a retired ranking British Naval office who is now the curator of the Flag Institute, the UKs national vexillological organization. He DEFINITELY knows about flags and their use, naval or otherwise.
@@xneurianx But everybody calls it the "Union Jack" unless they're a pedant.

The queen won’t send you anything as you don’t like like Jaffa cakes. She is more likely to lock you up in the tower off London.😀😀

I didn't have a mattress until i was 15."

Easy to start with - Welsh Rarebit (rare as in not common and bit as in my teeth bit)
White bread. Toasted on both sides of course.
Place a thin layer of cheese on one side of the toast- slice or grated
Worcestershire (woostershur) sauce on top and if you're posh a slice of tomato
Place back under the grill (broiler?) until cheese is just melting and catching a brown colour at the edges.
Remove and serve.
You might think of the classic Scottish Haggis, tatties and neeps - although that might take some getting hold of.
England - Battered fish, chip and Heinz Baked Beans in tomato sauce OR Mushy peas
My local Student fare: Chips (thick ish fries) - 2 ounces (if not more( of grated cheese on top and then a portion of
Beans (as above).
I assume you will call your dragon 'Firey' ?? Sounds right - hes a dragon that spouts fire and you said 'firey' the first time you saw it.
as if you haven't been told already CYMRU (cumree) is welsh for Wales. More coom ree actually!
Basic Welsh Language Phrases
- Bore da (Pronounced: Boh-reh dah): Good morning
- Prynhawn da (Prin-houn dah): Good afternoon
- Nos da (nohs dah): Good night
- Croeso i Gymru (Croesoh ee Cum-reeh): Welcome to Wales
- Iechyd da! (Yeh-chid dah): Cheers! (YAKKI DAH! my change. Word often used in jest against the Welsh just as Geordies are greeted WHAY-AY TH LADS)
- Tafarn (Tav-arn): Pub
- Diolch (Dee-olch): Thanks (DEE OLKK)
- Da iawn (Dah ee-aw-n): Very good
Thanks for everything, keep on trucking.
