As someone who has been a fan of KRQ's work for a long time and has almost watched all of it, he really needs to stop giving interviews. Over the years, I have agreed and disagreed with his statements, but at this point he just comes across as a hypocrite aur mera bhi dil uth janay laga hai ab iss banday k kaam sey.
First it was 'I'll never work with Mahira' in every other interview, and now she's doing his film (Honestly, Mahira herself had said no if she had some self respect). And now, the Saba thing was most bizarre thing he's ever said, dude do you see your son and daughter's tiktoks? Saba's dressing is against your culture/norms, but Mehwish's Billi was your culture? bcz she has done two of his films after that. Humayun doing a kissing scene in Crown was in line with his culture? And leave it all, that item song by Neelam in a film he directed with the most behuda lyrics is his culture? But Saba's dressing is where he draws the line. LOL!

In the Quran, it is stated (mafoom) that those who follow their own desires are treating their desires like a GOD. This means that prioritizing one's own desires over what Allah has commanded is like worshiping oneself, which is called طاغوت (taghut). For example, if a father forces his daughter to marry someone she doesn't want to marry, he is taking away the rights that Allah has given her and is committing طاغوت (taghut).

Taghout is a common Arabic word. It’s just another word for shaitan, which itself means rebel. For example any entity that claims to be worthy of worship is a rebel against Allah, which we also call shaitan or taghout. Similarly, any entity that goes against any directive of Allah can be termed taghout.

Maybe, insh´Allah. Although, it seems like Pakistani women are the biggest opposers to their own rights. Most of middle-to lower class seem to think that marriage and having sons is the ultimate validation card and life purpose. They believe in Allah swt, but do not see Allah as the goal, it seems. These women get severe emotional and confidence issues if they don´t get married by a certain age, or don´t have sons. Let´s be honest...that´s what their priorities are, because that´s seen as status among peer women. Really, our women "worship" men and the male child. Even if a man in a house would try to bring true Islam, I can almost guarantee you that the mother of the house WILL NOT tolerate her son even picking up his plate. So women are the biggest road-block to their own emancipation.

Once Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza said that sahil adeem lives in a world of dreams and now I couldn't agree more. He was so right about him.
As he was not brought up in Pakistan that's why he don't understand grass root problems of Pakistani people. He only heard of the problems and gives an idealistic solution to it which is often not possible for us, as we don't live in an ideal world.
In my opinion his Islamic knowledge is also very limited, most of the times he presents his own thinking and gives an Islamic touch to paint it as islamic perspective.

In research field while you are researching about a population (which is the whole number of people available) you take a sample size of a few number of people from that whole population, which in context of that research is considered 100% even if the number of sample is 10 people
Now, What sahil adeem stated was taking a sample size of a few people from our country and examining their religious intellect which was hypothetically stated
It was a hypothetical analysis on a sample size of a few people from the whole population
He was stating to convey the point that we as muslims are considerably low on our religious knowledge and men are a bite better as they have more time and outlets like their deeny gatherings and general discussion among groups

Well I think it's high time that Arabic should be taught in schools. If not, atleast parents should take responsibility to educate their own children on this. Definition of Jahil in Islam differs from Pakistani definition. In Pakistan if a person has gone to maddrassah only and hasn't got his degree, and if he's not pursuing ilm as a career, you will call him jahil. If a person can't talk well in English you will call him jahil. In Arabic/Islamic context "Jahil" is someone who's ignorant of the truth and believes in something that's different from the reality. So if Islam tells you to do hijab and I believe that it's not important/necessary. Then I am a Jahil. When you want to cure a disease, the first step is to identify it and accept that it's a disease. Same goes for this situation, if you don't want to be called jahil again, first accept the fact that if you are in your 20's and you don't know the basics of Islam then you are jahil. As far as Sahil Adeem is concerned, he's been doing the research and tableegh for a while now. I've attended his sessions on "Emotional Independence of Women" and his team conducts proper surveys with well structured questionnaires to asses the sampling. So anyone criticising Sahil Adeem should once do his/her research. He's worked in Telecommunications for more than a decade. He's learnt advanced neuroscience and psychology and has done (maybe still does) one on one business consultation/counselling with millionaires and billionaires. He studied from renowned teachers in Madrassah settings in his teens. He's fluent in Arabic. He's way more knowledgeable than most of our religious scholars out there. He's conducted classes on Arabic, Islamic way of right parenting etc for kids and adults on his platform. He's not the one to brag but he's doing soo much for so long now. And if he sounds so confident in his debates, it's because of his education(both Islamic and worldly), experience and exposure. We need people like him. If this generation accepts their shortcomings only then they'll be able to educate the next generation. And if you want to learn the difference between Tagut and Shirk, search on YT Sahil Adeem's version you'll understand!

12:23 emaan you should learn the meaning of Taghoot by yourself. The real problem is we have no knowledge of Quran and we are satisfied on that. Look how eagerly we learn English to look cool in society and least bothered to learn Arabic to know what our Allah Almighty is trying to conversate with us. It's the alarm that should waken us up but we are stuck to secondary useless conversation. After watching the video and the reactions i was ashamed as a nation that we don't know our religion and we are least bothered to know. It's sad.

He encourages people to think critically and independently, learn Arabic and follow Quran as it is without taking anyone’s word for it.
