Gagan bhai was right, I first saw the ICOTY sticker on the rear windshield of an i20 some years ago. I always used to wonder how these Car Awards are awarded?!
You both did the right thing doing this podcast.
For me as a viewer, today the YT channels of people like you and your opinions are more valuable than many other award juries and their conclusions.
Many of the older magazines have channels today on YT but none of them have viewership like you have!

I had to literally search for the awards as I had no clue about them. IMO recognition should be awarded those (like you guys) who are constantly bringing up healthy and technical opinion for the consumer because Indian car market is very wide and we need accurate opinions rather than awarding the car itself. Also, shout out to Biturbo media for the best guy in TH-cam this year.

I don't care if people don't like the car my dad owns, all i know is he has worked his ass off ,he saved money to buy it.
He bought 2020 dzire which was (i assume still is) his favourite car.

Been a car enthusiast since decades. Have never been influenced by any car awards. Car needs to be judged for performance, reliability, safety and features. Not who gets an "award"

Luckily for vehicle buyers at least, the awards 'won' by a car model are a minor influencing factor alone, I am sure!

car prices are too high to afford and many are more relied on used cars rather than new ones.

People usually buy based on budget, so would it be sensible to mention the cars in specific budgets? it can have more than one winner as well in case of different body shapes. so lets say today's hot budget segment is 12-20L bracket so there can be 3 best cars one from midsize suv(4-5 seat jiski requirment hai) 1 from 6-7 seater category ( karens & alcazar type me se koi best car) and sedans also come in this category then a best sedan as well. Ab jisko jo category leni hai wo lelo. So one has to decide a budget, car type and then your video has a shortlisted product from that category.
Just like there are comparison videos. Specifying USP of each car in a category and then an allrounder package. Wo hogyi car of the year in certain budget segment.

I dont know whether you will read this or not but i need your suggestion. We own alto (2010) model and now and we thought of upgrading car after seeing a lot of options we finally booked Brezza zxi+ dual tone Red and Black. Budget is upto 15L and it is costing us 1480000 On road. We are 4 member family and car will be driven mostly my dad. Last car(ALTO) ran 70000 in almost 12 Years. So Please suggest whether we chose a right car or we could have gone for something better. If u reply i would really appreciate that as i have been following you and gagan sir since many years just need your opinion Sir
