Where did the 10 mm hose off of the left rear bank come from? Was that the only one that had the 10 mm extra piece of hose? Where did that extra piece of hose come from if it was only on that one carburetor?
Brother, you're smart, you bought a Mercury gauge. Don't rap it too hard, or you'll suck the Mercury into the carburetors. You have to know that old school solid stuff. It's the Mercury that's expensive.
The most accurate synchronisation you can achieve is with one tube......mark the indication of the front left carburator than change the tube to the other carburators and tune to the mark of the front left carburator. You need one tube and one pneumatic scale....... or you do it Yamaha style with 3 pitchforks and a good set of ears ;-)
