I've been tweeking with the "Pre Eq" at "Global Setting". My guitar has active tone control with boost, so I lower the input gain.

Daniel why don't you put a 7 or 10 band EQ in front of your MG30?I also have the MG30 and bought a Erin 10 band controller EQ for around $30,it looks the same as the Joyo band controller 10 band EQ,it really cuts out the muddy frequencies and adds clarity!Your right about using another EQ with the MG30 to make it sound better!

I have overdrive + fuzz pedals which are essential for me. How can I integrate them with the MG-30? Should I plug them into the guitar input or integrate them into the MG-30's effects loop? Thanks.

I'd use it into the guitar input.Except if you want to keep it switched on all the time and use it only in some presets....😊

@@DanielKraemerMusic Merci Daniel. I use the mg-30 only for Noise Gate, chorus flanger etc & reverb delay. My gain structure will always be analog with my pedals.
