@@amaziinqV it doesn't make sense to have it off in any game. Every modern car has ABS for a reason. It's not something people turn off in simulation titles either.
I remember being completely turned away by the sound design in older GT games and partial to Forza 4 just for the sheer amount of amazing cars in game. Forza games have definitely declined in quality somewhat but I might pick up a Ps just to play this one. Looks decent enough. First racing games I ever played after all were GT1 (psx) and Diddy Kong Racing, lmfao.
To be fair the sounds where the only downfall of older titles everything else easily smashed Forza although I'd say while in the same genre do have two completely different feels to them, Forza is a casual racing experience best played on controller(might change for the new engine we will see) whereas I would say GT is much more geared to a wheel while still being accessible enough to casuals on controller. If I had to pick between the two I'd go with GT although that's not a knock on Forza I personally adore the Horizon sub series just hasn't been a good motorsports title...well...since Motorsports 4
Yh the racing in this game is amazing and the cars are great. I pre-ordered the game and what seriously has made me regret it is the small amount of single player races is just underwhelming. I can't imagine it being hard to add races to the game either. After you complete menu books (The campaign) bearing it mind there is only 39 books and 3 if not less races per book (around 100 races in the single player campaign) then you're only left with Licenses, missions and circuit experience. Circuit experience is where you perfect specific tracks, complete segments and then run a lap in a certain time. Even the online in this game is worse than the previous game mainly because the penalty system is broken. Someone drives infront of you and slams on the breaks forcing you to drive into a barrier and you get forced to slow down at a checkpoint. This has been highly exploited and still hasn't been fixed. Its supposed to stop wall riding but really they should have taken more thought into it. Rather then contact with any barrier gives a penalty it should be what area of your car hits the barrier and if they could go as far as to work out why you came off the track. Then ontop of that be prepared to repeat the same events over and over as credits (Currency) in this game is basically like gold. After you complete the campaign there is only 1 event which actually pays reasonably. Everything else is just not worth the time as all the campaign races pay less the second time round. Then there is a few random races around the map. Not many but a few. Most of them are 10 laps long and don't pay well the time you spend on the track except 1 event which is the group 4 high speed ring. This just burns you out and kills motivation to play the game as to buy a car and tune it you either spend an hour repeating the same event or 4 hours doing circuit experience. Even the online pays virtually nothing unless you come 1st. I found the online is more there for fun then a nice payday. The game looks amazing in the videos because all the details I have mentioned that plague the experience don't get seen. So if you are thinking about buying this game just take all the above into consideration. They mite fix it with updates but at the moment as far as racing goes the game was dead to me after a few days and I feel robbed for £70.
@@LG1ikLx that's honestly pretty insightful, heard the single player was pretty small compared to older titles, hope that it gets expanded on of which I imagine it will be due to GT Sport getting similar treatment over it's run time(was limited yes but they did expand it from what was originally on offer for a game that targeted multiplayer as a focus) I suspect right now you are more or less stuck with the issues that couldn't be foreseen in small batch testing environments like the tuning and penalty aspects as well as pitiful payouts which they probably made smaller to factor in the fact multiplayer and single player both add to your overall funds but seems they over compensated. Overall most the issues you mention are common issues for racing games these days and are usually quickly ironed out GT7 has only been out for a week it's why I primarily wait about a month or two to pick up any new titles

I love grand turismo but their vehicle sounds still sound so digital. Need for speed most wanted had very realistic car sounds.
