Hi Greta, thank you for a nice review, as the perfumer of this fragrance I guarantee that everything you are saying here is right. I just want to add two things: first PM have a secret floral accord that has many rare floral notes that are really hard to be detected one by one, the second thing is the solution is over 25% which beside the quality of the fragrance makes it super long lasting, something like days of longevity.

Anything created and backed by Producer Micheal is never going to be sub-par or standard because I know how much of a perfectionist and real genuine person Micheal is. I know he put his all into the making of this and making sure the fragences last a long time when sprayed and smell good and are pure luxury design and experience to everything from the fragence to the box and bottle and design. Also love the fact that Producer Micheal got us a discount code aswell. I will certainly be getting in the mix with this. What a great person to do this collaboration with. Hes always loved the brand ever since a partnership was ever in discussion, so it's real and authentic, which is awesome. 🤝💯👏

Whew PM blew me away. I believe my order arrived Wednesday. I just sprayed some on a sweatshirt jacket sleeve as a test. No kidding one powerful fragrance. I washed the jacket and I can still smell it on the sleeve. I'd categorize this along the line of BR 540. Your description is spot on. I also got Secret Tryst which is mostly floral. I never noticed all the bottle details you described. I've followed PM for a couple of yrs. The recent Beverly Hills antique shop video just floored me. I settled on RD Chypre Extraordinaire Parfum as another Christmas gift for my mother. They sent a 7.5ml in my last order and I was blown away by that fragrance.
Yes they made some drastic improvements on their bottle design! In hindsight, I should have shown the previous design. If you look from behind you will see the glue on the back of the name plate. Also, you can see the atomizer straw quite prominently.
how is Cavort?
@@lonewolf5969 I didn't get Cavort. I'd be interested also. I've been thinking about buying the sample set of their new releases. I also see another new one I believe by Shadi .
Brian and I will be reviewing the new ones soon. We have sample sets coming. The sample set is reasonable, but there’s a minimum charge of $150 for free shipping 😕 so you need to add on some other discovery sets or something.

Kudos great review. My skins eats up many perfumes but this lasted for 6 hours on skin. 20 hours + on my cashmere wool winter coats. Ideal scent for long winter days and nights.

I blind bought this fragrance because I love the FDB fragrances. I must say there is something in this I just didn’t like. I am not sure what it is. I certainly smell the citrus and the florals that smell very nice. The note I get more of, I think it is the tuberose, overpowers the other notes on my skin and strip. I have no fragrance with a tuberose note so maybe that is why I pick up on it so much. I tried the fragrance about 2 weeks later and I didn’t get as much of it compared to the initial spray. Will give it more time.

Hi Greta. I am really late to the game with this fragrance but I do want to buy it. I was worried it would be too masculine, but if you like wearing it, it will not be extremely masculine. It doesn't seem that the promo code is valid any longer. Was it PM20 on the FDB site?
It’s slightly masc, but I’m ok with it in cooler weather. Yes it was PM20. He usually has PM10 running on everything. Or try through a store discount like Maxaroma:

How would you compare this to Carnal Flower? they have some notes similar but I do know this one has that leather and incense vibe added to it. I think it‘s a different version of their Parisian. I would surely want this the notes are great despite the lemon.
Don’t worry about the lemon. It’s about the creamy woods (cedar, sandalwood, Vetiver, patchouli…) and a smokiness that builds. It’s the creaminess that blends with the woods that’s very curious and vexing.

Forgive me here but if you're smelling the strip and reading the notes, that's not super helpful to us as consumers, ya know? After watching this I'm not closer to understanding what this smells like. It's always super helpful to talk about the overall vibe. Like, describe the fragrance in 5 words or less which I know can be hard with FdB. I own 4 of theirs and they're certainly complex and non-linear. You look great though, happy holidays!
Perhaps watch my IG live with Brian My2Scents where I went even more in depth. Producer Michael and the perfumer were on as well. It saved to my page. This perfume takes a few wearings to understand, along with time to settle after shipping.

I’m waiting for the rest of the new releases, and will be doing a live again (FdB is joining), a few days after they rest. The fragrance changes a lot the first few days. The orris root really comes through and gives a warm creamy, slightly powdery base reminiscent of gentle fluidity along with the smokiness. It’s super complex and definitely amazing!
