Ive always been looking for easy tutorials for crocheting and could never find any and after I found this channel everything became easy. I was looking to make a baby bootie but all the tutorials were not going well and then I found a video on her channel and finally made my first bootie 😍😍😍😍!
From 9:10 onwards i keep getting the shoulder bit backwards?? 😂 3 time now I FIGURED MY MISTAKE OUT🎉🎉 i realised when you said the next 2 rows at 12:29 i was only doing one! So i didnt turn the work twice, only omce so it ended up on the wrong side 😂
gracias por el tutor isla, podría usted poner las dimensiones en centímetros, ya que el número de cadenas varía de acuerdo a la lana y tensión al tejer. gracias
Hello. I am from Indonesia. I just learned to crochet. I really like this tutorial. I tried and I made it. Thanks a lot. Hopefully more and more crochet tutorials are uploaded on your TH-cam. 💕❤🧡
Hi ,very clear explanation ,and for one year baby how many chain in the beginning and after 8 line also some counting will be Der know , can u tell me how to go about it ,im waiting for your msg
can u please guide for the different sizes ? I mean I want to stitch the same one for 1 to 3 years old child and I am a beginner so can u please guide for the different sizes in the comment or description ❤❤
When I was updating the pattern, I used the DK weight yarn Paintbox Yarns Simply DK - Mustard Yellow (123) and Champagne White (102) 100% Acrylic, 100g (3.5oz). One skein of each was more than enough. 😀
Hi Doroteja! I'm a crochet beginner and have tried this pattern but I am struggling to recreate it. My biggest challenge is when I want to make a larger size, I am unable get the count correctly. Would you mind simplyfing it? For example: if I stitch 85 chain stitches, where exactly do I start create arm loops from?
Hi! It's pretty simple. 😀 Measure the chest. Create the number of chains you need. Make sure the number of chains can be divided by 4. Example: Let's say you have 80 chains in your foundation chain + your turning chain (2 chains for a row of DC sts or 1 chain for a row made of SC or HDC). You have 80 sts. Divide those by 2 to get the front and back side of the cardigan. 40 sts for the front and 40 sts for the back. Now divide the front in two, the left and the right side. You get 20 sts for each side. So, from 80 chains (+ turning chain) long foundation chain, you get 20 sts for front left side, 40 sts for the beck side of the cardigan and 20 for the front right side. I hope this makes any sense. 😄
Thankyou for all your efforts you put in making this tutorial. Surprisingly easy! What yarn have you used here. Would a worsted weight go well for this project?
Divide into 2 equal parts first front and back part of the cardigan. If you started with 146 chains that's 73 for the front and 73 for the back side. Then divide the front side on half for the left and right front panel. Unfortunately, you chose the number you can't devide in 4, therefore skip one st in the middle and use 36 sts for each side. 😊 Happy crocheting!
@@CrobyPatterns thank u,I started with again 145 chain ,I divided 1,36,37,108,109,145 is this correct , and now how many dc in the shoulder part , U said 8 dc in the shoulder part as per your foundation chain like wise for 145 foundation chain???????
Thanks! I would start with a bit longer foundation chain. But please have in mind that you have to add sts in groups of 4: two on the back and 1 for each side on the front. Add a few rows of dc sts into the main part and later on the upper part. The decreasing on the upper area can stay the same, just add those additional sts you've created at the beginning to repeated sts each row. :D
I don’t know how you have 73 sts. If the first 73 chains you start the first row un the 3rd chain to make the dc. That is 1 plus the remained 70 chains si it si only 71 sts total per row
I would recommend DK weight yarn (Paintbox Yarns Simply DK - Mustard Yellow (123) and Champagne White (102) 100% Acrylic. They come in 100g (3.5oz) big skeins and one skein of each is more than enough. :) Happy crocheting! :)
I am speechless at how easy your tutorial is, it is so easy that I couldn’t take my hands off the project till I finished😊 thank you so much❤

Thank you so much for your beautiful video. But I wish to know how much yarn we need to make for the new born , if in single colour.
One skein of Paintbox Yarns Simply DK should be more than enough. However, you will need way less white\beige than mustardy.
@@CrobyPatterns thank you 👍
