This makes you questions... how powerful is the Sorcerer and the orbs exactly? I mean even with all those techniques and power it took 800 years and many generations of Ninja for them to finally defeat the Sorcerer for good.
It's also a case of not wanting to risk underestimating the Sorcerer. The ninja would have to unleash the Sorcerer for the final fight. What if he wasn't strong enough to defeat the Sorcerer? What if the ninja couldn't get the Sorcerer back in the hole? The Sorcerer wouldn't fall for it again. Only the first ninja had the experience of fighting the Sorcerer directly before Randy.

Usually the basics are useful all the time, and the advanced stuff is usually for specific situations. No Ninja could call themselves a ninja unless they have super senses, but an advanced ninja may have learned to use super senses along with a basic weight reduction move to be able to walk on air.

True. A lot of demons would be dead as he can just ninja his way through all their abilities. Naruto he would be in the top five in term of power. He would have to deal with Six path and he may not have something for that bullshit. And he would be extremely dislike by the Senran Kagura cast gor how stupidly OP he is. I don't think that is healing, because he use that thing on a Mini Bike wich is not a living thing. I think is more like, Reconstitution or Revitalizing Powers, were he can restore or empower an object or a living organism back into a "functioning" state.
I loved this show when I was younger. I can't wait until the reboot in a few years. As long as they can make it an IP, no show will ever die. That might sound unlikely, but if Daria, iCarly, and even gossip girl are all getting reboots, this might happen.
And this is just like chapter 1 stuff. The nomicon has 9 chapters. Not to mention the stuff in the shadow warrior temple like the invisibility and telekinesis (dawn of the driscol)

Wait a minute... he's got the Tengu fireball, the air fist, the hydro hand, and the earth attack. HE'S BASICALLY THE AVATAR. Not to mention all of the stuff he never bothered to learn like FLYING AND INVISIBILITY, plus all those bruce weapons.
With Randy being able to use elemental attacks, they could have referenced ATLA and made Randy a martial arts master with each element being assigned a respective martial arts. Water: Tai Chi Fire: Northern Shaolin Earth: Hung Gar Air: Ba Gua That’s just my opinion tho, I think it would be interesting.
Tbh each generations of the ninja just adds extra spells for the next generation to come. Randy only learn everything that the book could offer and he hasn't added something unique (except his intelligence being a ninja)

However since he met 1st ninja he taught that ability to him and base on nomicon "you can't write the future if you don't write the past" In the known universe Randy is the original maker of Tengu Fireball but since he had a time paradox 1st Ninja was the owner
I wish the 3rd season could get accepted, then we all could see the other abilities of him. Actually there is a small chance of 3rd season tho. Lets just hope lol. Anyway, my favorite ability of him is super senses and earth attack l guess. Super senses just literally makes him like a god. He can do so many things with it. And can u all just imagine controlling the LITERALLY WHOLE ground, mud or sand u know, with RAPPING. Thats so bruce dude. I would do everything to have powers like that. The creators, Jed and Scott was right. Being a ninja, especially in high school would be a DREAM COME TRUE.
This doesn't even begin to mention Randy's capabilities like how he seemingly still has superhuman strength without the ninja powers. He pulls down a massive Kaiju monster with mid difficulty And by far one of his most impressive feats is when he catches missiles and redirects them. This doesn't sound crazy at all really until you realize those same missiles he caught reached the moon within literally less than like 5 or 6 seconds which is ridiculously fast. Other than that we already knew he was faster than light, he literally dodges lasers near point blank all the time.
Waiting for the day the new season drops and we get introduced to some overpowered ability like fate manipulation, time travel, or reality manipulation

It's ashame the lore of The Ninja isn't expanded that much, for all we know. The suit could be an actual living creature from a different dimension, who's been kept in bound by a sentient book with all the powers of past ninja warriors.

Maybe once he has mastered being the ninja he wouldn't announce every move. Ninjas are all about stealth and that is a lesson the nomicon isn't teaching at all
I think the reason Randy never seems to really utilize some of his more powerful power is because he is literally a 9th grade boy very little thinking is done at that age speaking from experience
These are techniques and wisdom past ninjas have shared into the ninja nomicon, imagine if randy could develop his own technique, like ninja art of summoning
But he did: The Ninja Tengu Fireball is his own original technique.

I feel like that's where season 3 was headed, it wanted to take a more serious turn.
Totally, especially if he learned actual Ninjutsu and all their disciplines, all the weapons, all the forms of ninpo, and mastering ninja rage and the power of the tengu
His heightened senses must be a great source of angst for fanfics
Like in spiderman fanfics with sensory overloads
Those fics are definitely up there for my favourite angst fic tropes, right next to the hanahaki disease ones

However since he met 1st ninja he taught that ability to him and base on nomicon "you can't write the future if you don't write the past" In the known universe Randy is the original maker of Tengu Fireball but since he had a time paradox 1st Ninja was the owner

Anyway, my favorite ability of him is super senses and earth attack l guess. Super senses just literally makes him like a god. He can do so many things with it. And can u all just imagine controlling the LITERALLY WHOLE ground, mud or sand u know, with RAPPING. Thats so bruce dude. I would do everything to have powers like that. The creators, Jed and Scott was right. Being a ninja, especially in high school would be a DREAM COME TRUE.
This doesn't even begin to mention Randy's capabilities like how he seemingly still has superhuman strength without the ninja powers.
He pulls down a massive Kaiju monster with mid difficulty
And by far one of his most impressive feats is when he catches missiles and redirects them.
This doesn't sound crazy at all really until you realize those same missiles he caught reached the moon within literally less than like 5 or 6 seconds which is ridiculously fast.
Other than that we already knew he was faster than light, he literally dodges lasers near point blank all the time.

Generations of ninja each adding to the nomicon. Imagine if randy ever got transported to the world of Naruto and learned some new skills. He’d be unstoppable
He could learn all of nature transformations and jutsu, he could even gain chakra and even six paths chakra and could learn to master the power of the tengu, like a tailed beast
There's also in the Sorcerer's Love episode where he uses his sense of smell as a replacement for sight cause of the sorceress's enchantment
