I saw Chris Standring at Bogie’s, in Westlake Village, Southern California, in August 2018. It was a tiny venue, perhaps 50 people and my seat was “Bar Seat #1”. I was at the end of the bar, eating a delicious gourmet burger, fries, green salad and a few I.P.A.’s, while Chris Standring and his band played their set, 10 feet away from me. Needless to say it was one of my fondest and most favorite concert experiences of all time!
A Masterpiece. Peter plays straight in my heart and my soul. He has a great musical language, expression, feeling... and in fact takes me in seconds to "other places"
I see Peter every year near Manchester UK and saw you Chris here very recently. We can thank Steve Quirk who introduced smooth jazz to my area of UK late 90's on Jazz FM radio. Along with Acoustic Alchemy and many others a new genre was born (in me at least). Long may it keep going, a perfect fusion from past to wherever.
Great show. You and Peter together, and hearing more of his story, and how you linked up - It's The Inside Track - interesting, entertaining, and very enjoyable. Thanks to all.
People, People....Please be sure to check out the music of Roberto Vally, the bassist on this video, and his 4 albums on your favorite streaming service. Outstanding!! You'll love it!!!!
Hey Chris I have a favor to ask unlike any you have probably heard from a fan. I have a cousin Robert Watson who plays bass guitar 🎸 and I would love for you and him to get together and creat a a some for me. Something on the line of OohBop, Fat Tuesday, kaleidoscope, Fast Train to Everywhere and sneaking out the front door…Absolutely love you music Chris. See what you can do please Sir.

The both of you make the guitar “talk”. Much like the human voice.....it evokes emotions...,,,,!,,,,
Autumn day. It seems to have a bossa nova influence. Did Peter White came to Brasil or listened to some of our songs.
Question: is the guy, the bassist, Brazilian?
In general Peter White is very much influenced by Latin music
Awesome tones
Fantastic
Peter you are v.nice person.
Correction: Did Peter White come to Brasil...
