As a Clarinet that used to be in marching band and that played second. I shall clarify yes. It was hard and for all the clarinets out there I wish ya luck in whatever grade your in!
Semi-sight reading this as a high school to play with a nearby middle school, as they’re doing this piece. I’m the bass clarinet (part 4) and I can say this piece is, pretty fun. Sad I only will be playing it one day to help out a nearby band (it’s something or high school top band is doing lol). There’s really only one challenging fingering that happens twice, but other than that pretty straightforward ^^
I don’t understand why they played the music so fast. It seemed like they were going well beyond the 160 bbm in the last section of the song. Not to mention the duet was almost crushed by the sound of the percussion
@@makiing_thiings7212it’s the point of music. You’ll have different tempo changes throughout songs sometimes. One measure you’ll be slow and joyful, next you’ll be fast and energetic. It’s the love about music that makes it 10x better
we're doing this song in my band rn and the 1st Clarinet part makes me loose any sort of confidence while planing lol. THE PERCUSSION THOUGH.
I’m playing this as well, and I’m a percussionist, my section can’t learn their part for the life of them😭 help plz
i got first clarinet on it yesterday it’s interesting lol. it’s a fun challenge tho
as a percussion player playing this song, I'm scared
Se start this song. Im percussionist and the first Time un Read mode is very hâte but Nice. 1 min of pure percussions this is rare

I love this version :O
Playing this for our assessment concert (preparing extra hard for it, hence why we got it in winter) I'm so glad that I'm a percussionist
Same! I am actually a middle schooler playing with high school for the second time, and I’m super excited to play this with them.
those three and percussion were going crazy
thanks mr rocco for playing this video for us on friday and making me obsessed.

Played this, as a violin, in the orchestra quite loud. My ears RIP
We played this for our UIL music last school year (somewhere in last of of school year, or known as the first half of 2023)
Same actually...

Fellow bass clarinetist?? What did you think of the part we play with the flutes?
Very well done.
Holy shit y'all went faster than normal
understatement of the century

It seems like the percussion section picked the tempo up in their soli section... not sure if that was intentional.
The goofy tempos kinda ruined the song
