Neither Adele or Amy Winehouse can sing as well as this girl so please if you can't hear the technical superiority of this girls voice in comparison to the aforementioned then u have issues with your ears... And I'm not a fan of that retro soul style of music she has chosen for her album, but I like this particular more classic soul sounding track, and her voice is stunning

I think we both know (or maybe u don't?) that success in the realm of pop "music" is certainly not due to any heightened level of talent, if it was the case the majority of pop celebs today would be out of a job... Adele has a lovely tone and can sing for sure, but not at any level that I personally consider exceptional talent, and her music is (in my opinion) boring as hell. As for Amy Winehouse, I heard her sing at some place in London before she was famous, and the audience thought she was joking as her voice was so contrived and unnatural, no one could understand a word she sang and it was simple cringe worthy, then all of a sudden she was famous!? But, I will give her her dues, she could write a song that's for sure, and every time I hear a decent singer cover one of her tracks I think great writing...
Andra Day's range and versatility are leaps and bounds better than Amy Winehouse's or Adele's. Andra is unique why compare her to them? All 3 women have a sound that emulates all the great jazz and soul singers of the past from Billie Holliday to Aretha Franklin. .
