- Villa Bardini, with its monumental garden and its panorama of Florence, hosted the Alta Moda fashion show.
Received in concession following the inheritance of antiquarian Stefano Bardini, Fondazione CR Firenze restored the marvellous space filled with statues and artistic and architectonic artifacts, rich with history and beauty.

The fact that they walked down those and then walk back up is just crazy to me
Historical locations need some compromises and to be used at the way they were created centuries ago ... this is the value of Cultural Heritage ( maybe someone prefers to play in fake scenarios of fair pavilions ...it is a matter of taste)

Beautiful location, but horrible camera execution.
I kept thinking... "When are they going to show the 2nd dress!"
The lighting on the top of the stage was also very bad... it looks cheap and tacky.

That too! I didn’t even bring up the crappy drone work that could have been punchy and fun. It just kept telling me their upper lip must really have a nasty stench they can’t escape
Georgeous creations and a gorgeous location as always, but so many of the models seem completely disoriented...

Idk if they played this music at the actual show or if it's just overlay, but a nearly 40 min show should have a full score not a loop of the same music every 5 minutes.

I saw the Alta Moda 2019. A better show but the music was just as annoying.
I don't know what was happening with the music, but it was very confusing. The whole intro I'm wondering if I'm going to be seeing a clown show or a gown show.
@@nancynononono3992 They were sampling Nino Rota's work from Fellini films which fits the theme of the show, I was totally fine with that. It's just the repetition that got old.
I like that they were wear appropriate shoes, not high heels that would make them fall. And that they had the men standing on the steps assisting the models as needed. Love it all.
My God!! In as late as 2020-2021 - the world was still normal, AND BEAUTIFUL!
Glorious outfits. The music is a bit hectic for my tastes. I agree with others that the camera work is regrettable. It doesn’t do the clothing justice.
Can you change the playback speed on your computer or cellphone? I'm watching on my cheap cellphone. I turned the playback speed to 75 percent. At that speed the music is perfect.

Dolce and Gabana have showed long before the drama (and afterwards) much respect to China by visiting the country and appreciating Chinese culture in their collections. Its a sad misunderstanding.
Well, I see so as long as they put out something they call fashion and put down all of China it's okay. Sorry but let's not forget all the other Hate they put out! What they said about same sex family's is unforgettable!!!!

It's such a beautiful dress.It feels like I'm in a fantasy world. The combination of beautiful and dreamy colors and designs is wonderful.
Oh yeah....what a breath-taking tribute to FELLINI! 'Nights of Cabiria' the Mambo nightclub and Hypnosis Fantasy sequences meet! Extravagance paired with a dream of Chastity and Innocence! Bravo! It captures so many layers of emotions and a Moment n Time of Italy with one foot in the melancholy and modesty of post-war and Catholicism and another in a new Italy bursting at its seams with exuberance and optimism
D&G you have never done a better line than this, yes please on all of them! bring back the 20s,30s, 40s, just amazing
The garments are beyond words, but the camera shots are horrible.
It would have been more aesthetic if it were just the models walking through the flowers as the black suited men drew attention away from the dresses. The models looked beautiful amongst the flowers as they looked like flowers themselves but the male plants just didn’t work!!
Guide designer brand is always about extravagance and glitz&glammer and that states perfection! ✈️

D&G really is Italian beauty and craftmanship!
The dresses are probably beautiful, but I can barely see them because it's too dark, the cameras are too far away, and the set design gets in the way too much. And I had to mute the volume after 5 minutes or else I would have stabbed my ears out of frustration.
Oh helllll no, I could never walk in this show with all those stairs in heels. Much respect to the models, that's not easy to walk in heels down stairs and not look down. Beautiful show.

The best part of this show were the men and the beautiful flower arrangements and gardens.

I thing Gone With The Wind is fierce, and that is EXACTLY the kind of feel they were going for. I think more like old hollywood glam but old movie genre just the same.

The location is stunning, the clothes and jewels are literally masterpieces... but why is it so hard to present an organized show??
1. the models don't know where to go and how to walk, (12:08)
2. you can't really tell by what criteria the men standing on the stairs give them their hand, some of them do it, some other don't.
3. once again, it is impossible to see the details of the clothes and jewels.
4. the music is terrible, I literally turned off the volume and played another song because it was too annoying to listen to the same song for 37 minutes.
5.I also personally hate the black bra underneath the dresses, it ruins the appearance of all the clothes...
it all just looks so messy and disorganized!

Spectacular beauty the models, their elaborate gowns and accessories, the villa with all the gardens and flowers. It all seemed very whimsical. However, they need to change the music.

To the comments below; if you do not like the music on any TH-cam channel simply press the 'mute' button; open another tab and play your favorite music it is impossible to please everybody. Women always have a hard time walking at most shows I have watched; I loved the beautiful flats they gave many of the models. I do think maybe a couple of more attendants were needed at the bottom of the stairs. To see personal detail on the clothes you need to look at personal images of clothing; not a moving picture. As for the clothing preference that is your personal choice to altar the pieces according to your wish. I personally think the clothing; models and location are stunning! 😇😇😇

It looks so strange and sad to see what the New World Order's pandemic did to Italy, but the Italians always at the top. I appreciate the much-deserved tribute to Nino Rota, Federico Fellini's and Luchino Visconti's composer.
