    Thanks so much for the video! My capacitor looked exactly like the one in your video and the replacement was the same part number you used. My local appliance repair place said to not even bother repairing my 13 year old washer. For $26 and your video it’s up and running again. Thanks so much 😊👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    Thank you! Our washer stopped agitating all of a sudden. Your video helped us fixing it for only $20( bought the capacitor from amazon). Any other place would cost at least $100 just to come and diagnose. Thank You

    Maybe you can help me, I did appliance repair years ago, I had a diagnostic tool for Ge/Hotpoint it had 2 square plugs you could unplug the connector on Ge refrigerator, plug those ends into the matching ones on the unit and you could do different ohm checks like the defrost t-stat or the defrost heater, mine was stolen years ago, and I am trying to find info on it. Thanks.

    Are the capacitors always located in the same place? I have Hot Point but when looking around the drum do not see anything that looks like the capacitor in the video. Help!!!

      Yeah I can't locate my capacitor on my hotpoint as well, did you find it yet?

    • @slingeroftruth
      @slingeroftruth 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, sometimes it at the top of the washer, by circuit board inside the control casing you can take off easily, like mine with 2 screw at top back corners. Push the whole thing forward or backward and the casing will pop open with your capacity right there on top of the machine.

    GE top loader - where is the capacitor?
    Nothing looks like what you are showing.
    There's nothing attached to the front/side of the machine.
    Thanks.

    I still don't know what my problem is. Belt looked fine, capacitor looks different, couldn't see anything melted.
    Is it costly to diagnose an issue? If not, I'd rather do that and then fix it myself.

    Should just say you don’t answer any questions on TH-cam instead of the annoying cut and paste or auto responses. Feels very impersonal and rude.
