A couple of hours ago, I wrote to the people here who have wanted to know what has been going on! Everyone wanted to know & so did I. So I took a couple of hours to really investigate to find out the truth about everything! I found out information that was confirmed by the authorities! So I posted it using no names. That way, people would stop asking what's going on. After all, we all have the right to know. Well, apparently, someone didn't want that information to get out. So they deleted everything I said! I can pretty much guess who deleted my information! It's extremely sad because I really trusted this person! So if people really want to know the truth, I suggest you go ahead & do some investigating yourselves! Please pray for Kaka that she will have a good future, be happy & healthy & a family of monkeys for herself! Kaka will not be coming home! Her life now is in the forest! Ngoc and/or Hang also delete comments occasionally and viewers writing both favorable and unfavorable content have been affected at one time or another. Not long ago a channel member had a comment removed and it was not negative. No one should take it personally.
With all due respect, your comment is strange!!! While I understand that there is a language barrier and translations are imperfect until recently Ngoc has done a great job explaining everything to the viewers and there is no need to make it seem otherwise. I have followed this channel from the beginning, I have seen almost every video they have ever made and until the past few weeks this channel has always been one of the most communicative among those who make this type of content. Do you have any idea how many channels like this one just stop producing content without any explanation when a situation like this one occurs? I am sorry your comment got swallowed up the the auto deletion software they use, but there is no reason to imply that the viewers do not have the real story about what happened in this case. From the beginning, Ngoc told us that Kaka and Mit were confiscated. The pigtail Kaka and stump-tail Mit were taken away after a viewer or rather several viewers discovered their address, made a report and pressured them to act. Ngoc told us clearly that even though people do so, they are not allowed to keep certain animals from nature as pets. Almost every country in the world has rules/laws prohibiting citizens from keeping animals from nature as pets, even if most are not invested in looking for those who do so and only respond when someone makes a fuss. Vietnam is not unique in that regard. Kaka and Mit are macaques, all five types of these monkeys are protected in the country, they are classified differently from other types of monkeys and are not allowed to be kept in homes as pets. We all know there are many other channels like this one on YT and it is important to know that those people could just as easily end up in the same position if their address was discovered and enough people made a fuss. To be clear, Ngoc and the fans worked diligently to secure an exception for Kaka and Mit when they were first taken away, but the government rejected their efforts and their pleas fell on deaf ears. While this is the first YT family we have seen lose their pet monkey, it is not as uncommon as it seems and the ENV frequently responds to reports and confiscates animals. The government never returns the animals they take. Ngoc has told us honestly many times that the situation was out of his hands and that Kaka and Mit could not return home. Ngoc explained that Kaka and Mit were ordered to the state run national park for release. The viewers should understand that Vietnam does not follow standardized guidelines and recommendations for rehabilitation and release of monkeys like Kaka and Mit. The country does not rehabilitate animals the way most every other country does before they release them, but instead utilizes a process of "quarantine", "integrate" (get the animal used to eating natural foods and drinking water from nature) and "release". There are many, many reasons why releasing monkeys like Kaka is NOT the preferred or recommended way to manage such situations and it is important to recognize that Kaka would never be released in the way she was here if this same situation were playing out almost anywhere else in the world, but Vietnam is not like many other places in the world. Ngoc explained that Kaka and Mit were separated when they were released to give each the best chance of joining a like group of monkeys and adjusting. Kaka is a pigtail, Mit is a stump-tail and the two do not live together in nature. Ngoc further explained that Mit is too young to be released and was been placed with a government approved foster until he is old enough to be released. Mit is being raised with as little contact with people and in the most natural environment possible to ensure he has an easier adjustment than monkeys in Kaka's position have. Ngoc was not authorized to visit Mit. When Kaka was initially released Ngoc could not secure approval to visit her, but was eventually able to work with the director of the park and get permission to look for Kaka on the island. (the same director we saw in the video from when Ngoc and the fans helped out a sick little boy at the directors request) From the first visit to the island Ngoc explained that he was bound by the same rules and regulations everyone else has to follow when visiting the publicly accessible tourist site. When viewers requested he take food, build her a house, take her bed etc., use a tracking device, etc. etc. he clearly explained he was not authorized to do those things and pretty much had to "beg" to get approval to visit once a week. I see comments from those who appear impatient, accusatory and in some cases speculative, but it all seems more than a bit unfair to me. Yes, we all care about and are invested in Kaka, but none are more invested and affected by all of this than Ngoc and the family. For three years this family has shared their lives and Kaka with us, they have attentively read our comments, answered our questions and addressed our concerns and it seems reasonable to conclude that they would be doing so now if they were in a position to. We need to realize that the small but dedicated group of people who originally reported the family are still here and remain committed to disrupting and interfering with the channel. There are some people who come to this channel solely to leave negative and unkind comments. Some of those individuals create multiple accounts in order to make it look like there are more negative comments than there really are. There are even people who come here just to gather information that they can use to make additional reports to the ENV. These people are committed to having a negative impact on the channel by ensuring that the government restricts Ngoc's ability to upload content from his visits and provide updates about Kaka. Earlier this month, the ENV announced that as a result of the reports they received, they had taken steps to stop future filming of Kaka. It might be difficult for those who do not live in Vietnam to understand how things work there, but we need to recognize that all countries are not the same. We should assume that there are certainly limitations being placed on how much and what Ngoc can film and very likely even what he can say. Vietnam is not a democracy and those who live there do not have the same rights and freedoms some have where they live. The freedom of association, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to a healthy environment along with other rights and freedoms are severely restricted there. Citizens critical of the Vietnamese government or who discuss certain topics deemed "unacceptable" are often subject to intimidation and imprisonment. The situation with Kaka and Mit is very much a matter of Vietnamese law and the state has complete authority and say so over Kaka and Mit. Ngoc responded to a viewer comment in a previous visit and reported that he is still visiting Kaka each week, but we need to realize that he does not have the right to visit, but rather they are contingent upon him gaining the approval to do so. While we have not had any updates recently, we have certainly been informed of the facts of this case and no one who watches this channel on a regular basis can say otherwise. Again I am sorry your comment was removed, but you should not have needed to do anything but watch one of the many informative Ngoc has made for us to know Kaka could not return. This was not the outcome most of the viewers hoped for and the situation is sad for sure, we should all hope Kaka does well in her new environment.

Also, several people wanted to know exactly what was happening. I just investigated information so I would know the truth! I did find out more information than what was said to all of us. It is important for the viewers to understand that if it was simply a matter of moving, paying a fee, or even refraining from filming, the family would do it, but it is not that simple. If a license or document was available, they would get one, but there isn't. We should realize nearly all countries have rules/laws prohibiting their citizens from keeping animals from nature as pets, even if they are not invested in looking for those who do. In this case a viewer or several viewers discovered the family's address and made a report to the ENV. Ngoc told us that even though people do so, they are not allowed to keep monkeys like Kaka as pets. Your comment is strange!!! The majority of people who watch this channel are adults. Adults have the freedom and ability to watch what they want to watch and skip anything they don't want to watch. When Kaka was initially released, Ngoc addressed the viewers and said that moving forward the channel would show a combination of new family content along with rerun videos for those who wish to see them. This should not be a surprise to anyone, it was announced. While the viewers have grown accustomed to a series of new videos every time Ngoc visits Kaka, no one ever said that the channel would continue that format indefinitely. No one pays to watch the content and it is very hard for me to reconcile what you accuse with this situation. The word "scam" is defined as: to trick someone into giving you money or giving you some advantage, in a dishonest and often illegal way. No one pays and there is nothing unlawful or dishonest about anything we are watching here. Perhaps your comment would be best directed to YT as everyone here is watching because they want to and it doesn't cost them anything to do so. Kaka is on the island trying to figure out how to survive in a world that is foreign to her, because the government doesn't follow the recommended protocols and guidelines for monkeys like her. She doesn't care if Ngoc shows videos all day every day, she is only interested in figuring out how to survive. Maybe the more pertinent question is; when are you going to go away? You're not interested in watching the content, so why are you here? I think it is pretty obvious that you are here because you are so consumed and preoccupied with someone you don't know that you spend your time trying to tarnish Ngoc instead of spending your time doing something you might enjoy. To begin with I fully understand how YT works, I also understand more about this particular subject than almost anyone here and I am here to tell you that it is a whole lot more complex and convoluted than most people realize. For your information, Ngoc and the fans of this channel worked diligently to return the pigtail Kaka and stump-tail Mit when they were taken away, but their efforts were rejected and their pleas fell on deaf ears. Ngoc himself told us that even though people do so, they are not allowed to keep certain animals from nature as pets. Kaka and Mit are macaques and all five varieties are protected and are in a separate category from other monkeys. While this might be the first YT family the viewers have seen lose their pet monkey, it is not as uncommon as it seems, the ENV often responds to reports and confiscates animals from nature who are living in homes with people. The government never returns confiscated animals. all countries have rules/laws prohibiting their citizens from keeping animals from nature as pets, even if they are not invested in looking for those who do. In this case a viewer or several viewers discovered the family's address and made a report to the ENV. To be clear, Kaka and Mit would still be home if not for the viewer or viewers who discovered their address and reported them. I spent a little over six months living and working in the country and know enough to know that too many try to simplify something that is anything but. Too many try to blame one group of people when there is much greater blame to go around. I am not "naïve" I am a realist. What do you suppose would have become of her if she had not been selected to go home with a family. There has always and likely will always be a demand for these animals even if they were never kept them as pets again. I am not an animal from nature, but if I was I would likely chose to live as a pet than be food or medicine. Do you know that the government does not rehabilitate monkeys before they release them. The country does not follow recommended guidelines and protocols for returning monkeys like Kaka to nature and instead employs a process of "quarantine", "integrate" (get the animal used to eating natural foods and drinking water from nature) and "release". The truth is releasing monkeys who have lived as Kaka did is complicated and the idea that simply taking and releasing the animal will result in a successful outcome does not match what is known. According to those who are experienced with such projects, ill-conceived plans may return animals to nature only to see them NEVER adapt to the unfamiliar and/or inappropriate environment. When considering releasing a monkey like Kaka it is important to note that previous re-introductions of these animals have shown that mortality is often high and even when time, care and resources are dedicated to such projects, success is not guaranteed. There are many, many reasons why releasing monkeys like Kaka is NOT the preferred or recommended way to manage such situations and it is important to recognize that Kaka would never be released in the way she was here if this same situation were playing out almost anywhere else in the world. The pigtail Kaka has lived with people for as long as she can remember, she doesn't even remember living in nature and yet some want to say that "the animal can and will transition if she is simply left alone to her own devices", but beliefs such as those simply do not match what is known. Without any rehabilitation, the pigtail Kaka is likely to continue to seek out people regardless of Ngoc's visits. The national park is a popular tourist site and regularly visited by people. The pigtail Kaka is a people-friendly monkey and previous releases under similar circumstances show that monkeys in her position who were released under similar conditions will continue to associate people with food. While Ngoc follows the rules and does not bring food for Kaka, previous situations show that the general public is less likely to observe the rules and will gladly share their snack or lunch with a people-friendly monkey. There is another state park in the country where the monkeys have completely stopped looking for their own food and a reliant on tourists. Kaka has not integrated into the group who lives there and still spends the majority of her time in and around the dock area. (The park "guide" or whoever accompanies Ngoc off camera reported as much in two separate videos) All things considered it is more than prudent for Ngoc to want to continue to visit Kaka. Would you leave an animal you care for and trust those who don't follow the guidelines and protocols almost every other country in the world adheres to. The small but dedicated group of people who originally reported the family are still here and remain committed to disrupting and interfering with the channel. There are some people who come to this channel solely to leave negative and unkind comments. Some of those individuals create multiple accounts in order to make it look like there are more negative comments than there really are. There are even people who come here just to gather information that they can use to make additional reports to the ENV. These people are committed to having a negative impact on the channel by ensuring that the government restricts Ngoc's ability to upload content from his visits and provide updates about Kaka. Earlier this month, the ENV announced that as a result of the reports they received, they had taken steps to stop future filming of Kaka. It might be difficult for those who do not live in Vietnam to understand how things work there, but we need to recognize that all countries are not the same. We should assume that there are certainly limitations being placed on how much and what Ngoc can film and very likely even what he can say. Vietnam is not a democracy and those who live there do not have the same rights and freedoms some have where they live. The freedom of association, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to a healthy environment along with other rights and freedoms are severely restricted there. Citizens critical of the Vietnamese government or who discuss certain topics deemed "unacceptable" are often subject to intimidation and imprisonment. The situation with Kaka and Mit is very much a matter of Vietnamese law and the state has complete authority and say so over Kaka and Mit. Ngoc told us the situation is out of his hands and we should believe him. Ngoc responded to a viewer comment in a previous visit and reported that he is still visiting Kaka each week, but we need to realize that he does not have the right to visit, but rather they are contingent upon him gaining the approval to do so. The government placed Kaka and Mit in the care of the FPD and Ngoc needs their permission to visit, film and even speak about the current status of Kaka and Mit. We can agree on one thing that beautiful sad creature deserved a better outcome than the one she got and only the coldest of hearts can look at this situation with anything but sympathy.
@ at the end of the day, the poor monkey has suffered unimaginable trauma that could have been avoided. My only concern is her wellness which I don’t feel has been taken into account. And that saddens me!

É verdadeiro ou não essa informação, nos explique por favor, pq nós não estamos entendendo nada, de repente não constatamos mais as suas visitas a ilha para ver Kaka. A couple of hours ago, I wrote to the people here who have wanted to know what has been going on! Everyone wanted to know & so did I. So I took a couple of hours to really investigate to find out the truth about everything! I found out information that was confirmed by the authorities! So I posted it using no names. That way, people would stop asking what's going on. After all, we all have the right to know.

While I understand that there is a language barrier and translations are imperfect until recently Ngoc has done a great job explaining everything to the viewers and there is no need to make it seem otherwise. I have followed this channel from the beginning, I have seen almost every video they have ever made and until the past few weeks this channel has always been one of the most communicative among those who make this type of content. Do you have any idea how many channels like this one just stop producing content without any explanation when a situation like this one occurs? I am sorry your comment got swallowed up the the auto deletion software they use, but there is no reason to imply that the viewers do not have the real story about what happened in this case.
From the beginning, Ngoc told us that Kaka and Mit were confiscated. The pigtail Kaka and stump-tail Mit were taken away after a viewer or rather several viewers discovered their address, made a report and pressured them to act. Ngoc told us clearly that even though people do so, they are not allowed to keep certain animals from nature as pets. Almost every country in the world has rules/laws prohibiting citizens from keeping animals from nature as pets, even if most are not invested in looking for those who do so and only respond when someone makes a fuss. Vietnam is not unique in that regard. Kaka and Mit are macaques, all five types of these monkeys are protected in the country, they are classified differently from other types of monkeys and are not allowed to be kept in homes as pets. We all know there are many other channels like this one on YT and it is important to know that those people could just as easily end up in the same position if their address was discovered and enough people made a fuss.
To be clear, Ngoc and the fans worked diligently to secure an exception for Kaka and Mit when they were first taken away, but the government rejected their efforts and their pleas fell on deaf ears. While this is the first YT family we have seen lose their pet monkey, it is not as uncommon as it seems and the ENV frequently responds to reports and confiscates animals. The government never returns the animals they take. Ngoc has told us honestly many times that the situation was out of his hands and that Kaka and Mit could not return home.
Ngoc explained that Kaka and Mit were ordered to the state run national park for release. The viewers should understand that Vietnam does not follow standardized guidelines and recommendations for rehabilitation and release of monkeys like Kaka and Mit. The country does not rehabilitate animals the way most every other country does before they release them, but instead utilizes a process of "quarantine", "integrate" (get the animal used to eating natural foods and drinking water from nature) and "release". There are many, many reasons why releasing monkeys like Kaka is NOT the preferred or recommended way to manage such situations and it is important to recognize that Kaka would never be released in the way she was here if this same situation were playing out almost anywhere else in the world, but Vietnam is not like many other places in the world.
Ngoc explained that Kaka and Mit were separated when they were released to give each the best chance of joining a like group of monkeys and adjusting. Kaka is a pigtail, Mit is a stump-tail and the two do not live together in nature. Ngoc further explained that Mit is too young to be released and was been placed with a government approved foster until he is old enough to be released. Mit is being raised with as little contact with people and in the most natural environment possible to ensure he has an easier adjustment than monkeys in Kaka's position have. Ngoc was not authorized to visit Mit.
When Kaka was initially released Ngoc could not secure approval to visit her, but was eventually able to work with the director of the park and get permission to look for Kaka on the island. (the same director we saw in the video from when Ngoc and the fans helped out a sick little boy at the directors request) From the first visit to the island Ngoc explained that he was bound by the same rules and regulations everyone else has to follow when visiting the publicly accessible tourist site. When viewers requested he take food, build her a house, take her bed etc., use a tracking device, etc. etc. he clearly explained he was not authorized to do those things and pretty much had to "beg" to get approval to visit once a week.
I see comments from those who appear impatient, accusatory and in some cases speculative, but it all seems more than a bit unfair to me. Yes, we all care about and are invested in Kaka, but none are more invested and affected by all of this than Ngoc and the family. For three years this family has shared their lives and Kaka with us, they have attentively read our comments, answered our questions and addressed our concerns and it seems reasonable to conclude that they would be doing so now if they were in a position to. We need to realize that the small but dedicated group of people who originally reported the family are still here and remain committed to disrupting and interfering with the channel. There are some people who come to this channel solely to leave negative and unkind comments. Some of those individuals create multiple accounts in order to make it look like there are more negative comments than there really are. There are even people who come here just to gather information that they can use to make additional reports to the ENV. These people are committed to having a negative impact on the channel by ensuring that the government restricts Ngoc's ability to upload content from his visits and provide updates about Kaka. Earlier this month, the ENV announced that as a result of the reports they received, they had taken steps to stop future filming of Kaka.
It might be difficult for those who do not live in Vietnam to understand how things work there, but we need to recognize that all countries are not the same. We should assume that there are certainly limitations being placed on how much and what Ngoc can film and very likely even what he can say. Vietnam is not a democracy and those who live there do not have the same rights and freedoms some have where they live. The freedom of association, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right to a healthy environment along with other rights and freedoms are severely restricted there. Citizens critical of the Vietnamese government or who discuss certain topics deemed "unacceptable" are often subject to intimidation and imprisonment. The situation with Kaka and Mit is very much a matter of Vietnamese law and the state has complete authority and say so over Kaka and Mit. Ngoc responded to a viewer comment in a previous visit and reported that he is still visiting Kaka each week, but we need to realize that he does not have the right to visit, but rather they are contingent upon him gaining the approval to do so.
While we have not had any updates recently, we have certainly been informed of the facts of this case and no one who watches this channel on a regular basis can say otherwise. Again I am sorry your comment was removed, but you should not have needed to do anything but watch one of the many informative Ngoc has made for us to know Kaka could not return. This was not the outcome most of the viewers hoped for and the situation is sad for sure, we should all hope Kaka does well in her new environment.

I know about everything Mr. Ngoc has told us & I understand everything you have said, but there is some information apparently you don't know! Also, several people wanted to know exactly what was happening. I just investigated information so I would know the truth! I did find out more information than what was said to all of us. All's I did was try & explain it to people who just didn't know what was going on. This is not the outcome the fans hoped for, but the state has decided that Kaka will remain on the island at the national park. Your comment is strange!!! The majority of people who watch this channel are adults. Adults have the freedom and ability to watch what they want to watch and skip anything they don't want to watch. When Kaka was initially released, Ngoc addressed the viewers and said that moving forward the channel would show a combination of new family content along with rerun videos for those who wish to see them. This should not be a surprise to anyone, it was announced. While the viewers have grown accustomed to a series of new videos every time Ngoc visits Kaka, no one ever said that the channel would continue that format indefinitely. No one pays to watch the content and it is very hard for me to reconcile what you accuse with this situation. The word "scam" is defined as: to trick someone into giving you money or giving you some advantage, in a dishonest and often illegal way. No one pays and there is nothing unlawful or dishonest about anything we are watching here. Perhaps your comment would be best directed to YT as everyone here is watching because they want to and it doesn't cost them anything to do so. Kaka is on the island trying to figure out how to survive in a world that is foreign to her, because the government doesn't follow the recommended protocols and guidelines for monkeys like her. She doesn't care if Ngoc shows videos all day every day, she is only interested in figuring out how to survive. Maybe the more pertinent question is; when are you going to go away? You're not interested in watching the content, so why are you here? I spent a little over six months living and working in the country and know enough to know that too many try to simplify something that is anything but. Too many try to blame one group of people when there is much greater blame to go around. I am not "naïve" I am a realist. What do you suppose would have become of her if she had not been selected to go home with a family. There has always and likely will always be a demand for these animals even if they were never kept them as pets again. I am not an animal from nature, but if I was I would likely chose to live as a pet than be food or medicine.

When considering releasing a monkey like Kaka it is important to note that previous re-introductions of these animals have shown that mortality is often high and even when time, care and resources are dedicated to such projects, success is not guaranteed. There are many, many reasons why releasing monkeys like Kaka is NOT the preferred or recommended way to manage such situations and it is important to recognize that Kaka would never be released in the way she was here if this same situation were playing out almost anywhere else in the world.
The pigtail Kaka has lived with people for as long as she can remember, she doesn't even remember living in nature and yet some want to say that "the animal can and will transition if she is simply left alone to her own devices", but beliefs such as those simply do not match what is known. Without any rehabilitation, the pigtail Kaka is likely to continue to seek out people regardless of Ngoc's visits. The national park is a popular tourist site and regularly visited by people. The pigtail Kaka is a people-friendly monkey and previous releases under similar circumstances show that monkeys in her position who were released under similar conditions will continue to associate people with food. While Ngoc follows the rules and does not bring food for Kaka, previous situations show that the general public is less likely to observe the rules and will gladly share their snack or lunch with a people-friendly monkey. There is another state park in the country where the monkeys have completely stopped looking for their own food and a reliant on tourists.
Kaka has not integrated into the group who lives there and still spends the majority of her time in and around the dock area. (The park "guide" or whoever accompanies Ngoc off camera reported as much in two separate videos) All things considered it is more than prudent for Ngoc to want to continue to visit Kaka. Would you leave an animal you care for and trust those who don't follow the guidelines and protocols almost every other country in the world adheres to.
