It came from his emotions and feelings. We should just appreciate it, and be thankful he decided to let it be sung by all the members, when he could have just left it in its original form.
It's okay. We all felt the same way when this song started. The first note gave me goosebumps. This is Taeyhung's (V) baby. He wrote the lyrics and co-produced with NIve and others. This song was for his upcoming MixTape but everyone agreed that it needs to be released on "BE". Hopefully, he will have his version on 'KITH" coming soon.
He wrote the majority of the lyrics, besides as always, RM, Suga, and J-Hope wrote their verses.

I cried to this song before I even read the lyrics. There is a lot of honest pain behind this song. It was originally supposed to be on V’s mixtape. But the others members convinced him to put it in the album. He said it was about an experience he had with burnout and depression. Purple you 💜💜

@@starises4596 no it wasn’t. The original song was written by Taehyung, but when they made the BTS version, the rapline also wrote their verses and ideas for the chorus. Yoongi’s was chosen. That’s literally what Taehyung said.

Tae has said he was in a very dark place when he wrote this and wondering if he could ever come out of it. He's the one whose voice you liked so much. They have all shared their struggles with depression, anxiety, social phobias, feeling that they disappointed their families. This has helped them and so many others to heal. Don't worry, a lot of their songs make all of us cry.
Its an absolutely soul touching song so your reaction is understandable. The member V is one the who wrote the lyrics in english originally for his mixtape however they decided to add it to the BE album. Its truly a reflection of just how talented these guys are lyrically! Their songs always have substance and meaning. You have so much more to look forward to!

This is definitely a emotional song. Only it's tune made me feel something which can't be described by words and when I read the lyrics it literally made me cried. And that's one of the reasons why I love bts cz the tune of their songs, their voice always make me feel the perfect emotions of a song.

Blue and Grey is a huge release of emotions every time I hear this. It is ok to cry, it is ok to be silent when you listen to song, it is ok...i had the most shitty day when the album came out, and my brain blocked this song...but i literally screamed when the Telepathy began it was something i needed so much at the moment) But after when i listened to blue and grey again now i think it is one of their best songs ever!

While most of it focuses on hope and staying positive, they aren't afraid to acknowledge that we all have feelings of sadness and loneliness as well. This is an affirmation that we all have these feelings and it's ok. The song captures those emotions so beautifully that I (and I'm sure a lot of others as well) feel a kind of catharsis, a kind of release after facing those feelings within myself. This is why ARMY has grown so big and is so devoted. BTS creates songs to help us through our lives without being afraid of the "stigma" of mental health or seeming "weak." I cried listening to this song the first time then cried harder reading the lyrics. Thank you for honest reaction 💜 this song was written by V and it was when he was going through a hard time in his life experiencing burnout. Blue and Grey was originally made for V's mixtape but the other members heard this song and wanted to add it to their new album 'BE'. When V sings it's really emotional because those were his real feelings he tried to express. ARMYs are now expecting V to drop his mixtape on his birthday Dec 30th or sometime early next year =)

Producers are the ones who overlook the entire project and usually are the ones doing the mixing, recording the tracks, engineering in the studio. A good comparison is a composer is like a scriptwriter and a producer is like a director.

It was originally a song written in English sung exclusively by Tae as it was part of his mixtape. Jk listened to the song and said it was too good, including it on the BE album like this. It was retouched since it did not include verses for the rap line. Tae put his darkest and sincere feelings in this song since when he composed it he was going through a deep depression. This is a tremendously heartbreaking song .... 😢
