    You can tell Mido was practicing his insults about Nour in the mirror and shower for a long time with how fast he wanted to say something. I bet he even group chatted it to the men too… lol I did love Nour telling Karma that she’s proud of her for not giving up dancing and there are men out there who appreciates a woman who has hobbies and interests. If Chafic is this dramatic in front of cameras and host, can you imagine him amd Dounia arguing. I rolled my eyes when Asma was clapping so loud and cheering on Mido for apologizing to Nour. The same woman who laughed when the guys were bullying her. I wish I was Karma cause I would have hit Asma with that fan… lol

      Hopefully for his health, he doesn't do that so frequently and they were using that as another reason it didn't work out. It is crazy that he didn't do that at all during the first four weeks of filming when part of the idea is you go back to your normal schedule and don't treat it like a 5 week vacation as you would give your partner a false impression of what married life will be like.

      @@luckpoof7261I honestly don't think Nour was "attacking" her with her comments on her self confidence. Was she entertained when Dounia would get annoyed whenever she talked to her or Chafic, absolutely, but it's really Dounia and Chafic that took everything she did so personally when she was really only having fun at their expense. They will face much larger hurdles than Nour in their relationship and they will have a much better time ignoring the games they see that people are playing instead of getting outraged by it unless someone completely crosses a line which in my opinion Nour never crossed from the show we watched.
      In the end it's a reality show with producers pushing certain buttons to get people to do things and it's up to the people to act how they want to act and not shame the people that you blame for your overreactions.

    In 2024 Arab women are no longer pets. I admire Karma who is passionate of acting and dancing, very smart, independent, confident, mature, enjoys her artistic passions and skills and her human right to freedom. Karma has a powerful voice, she is free to choose, very happy for her. God made everyone free, only humans are imposing limits on other humans. you only get one life and must make the most of it. 👏👏👏The dentist was hot, professional and hard working but closed minded and his views don't match the freedoms the Arab women are starting to enjoy in the Arab countries nowadays. times are evolving, the world is changing, the new generations will seek freedom and happiness above everything. Does it worth to live your only life as a 'caged pet' when actually, you are a human being with brain and skills?

    Nour really showed how smart she was. I really liked her responses in this one.
    BUT during filming i think we can also agree that not once was she feeling mido after the reveal and she wasnt treating him right. I mean from what we saw on tv she was rejecting everysingle attempt he did at having a conversation, at doing activities etc. BUT mido was way too salty, like dude take a hint and leave and be respectful like Khatab was with Asma (was it asma i always forget her name).
    Love how Karma was having her back and Hajar too.
    Chaffic is a whole red flag, i dont believe he has any intention of ever marrying Dounia. But they both have this jealous personality trait.

      She was incredibly rude to him at points and he absolutely milked it for all it’s worth. He had already shown he took rejection poorly and didn’t communicate well when he was upset so I was expecting them to clash at some point. And I don’t know why but I didn’t buy Chaffic’s outrage when it came to Nour. He seems very attracted to her.

    • @Angel.p242
      @Angel.p242 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      @diamcole Exactly! he was really giving street cat caller, when they tell you you're beautiful just to get your number but when you say no they turn around with a "you're ugly anyway" like... dude you were pursuing her and you were smitten, and suddenly she isn't pretty anymore? It doesn't make sense.
      And I think chaffic was attracted to her but she is not as innocent as Dounia. Like its dounia 1st real relationship and stuff so for someone like him who is that jealous and possessive she was the perfect target, Nour is just too strong of a personality. And he was just hating for no reason, she dodged a bullet when he decided not to go for her

People claim she flirted and approached Chafic when we can all rewind the tape and see Chafic approaching her after being bothered by Nour not greeting him. Nour may have been uninterested in Mido, but where was she rude/mean about it? No, she didn't go out of her way to pour her energy into him, but she wasn't an asshole either. People want to say she's a gold digger when it has been addressed countless times that, culturally, this is the norm. Even Mido himself said in the pods that Egyptian men spoil their women. We get them cars, houses, etc. So, now that they have a woman standing on business and expecting the provisions their culture sets as the standard (she makes her own money but expects someone to provide 100%) it's problematic. Because she managed to extract exactly what she wanted: the spotlight, the attention, and the publicity. She threw out the bait, and the immature boys took it, hook, line, and sinker. And guess what? We all fell for it too. The irony? We're sitting here, talking about her just as she planned. Congratulations to her for proving that even in the chaos, she still comes out on top!

    All the men except for Khatab sucks. Nour is not that great TBH, like honestly how many girls can be genuinely friends with her. I've known many Nours and I had to create distance from them because all they really do care about is walking over people, showing off what they have, and be completely insuncere. Being spoiled is not a flex. I was spoiled when growing up but I also managed to learn humility. No doubt she is intelligent, but she loves the idea of making other women insecure. So I don't understand why people can't see through her. People like that should not be rewarded with more attention because they use it as a weapon. Also, Hajar, I'm sorry, how did no one pick up how rude she was to the server. How you treat people who are not as wealthy as you says a lot about your personality. Ironic she talks about bullying when she most likely is one. I loved all the other women cause they did seem very genuine, well... maybe not the girl that chose Khatab. I have a soft spot for him cause he looks almost identical to my husband lol. But holy, the rest of the men are just a different breed of humans I never want to encounter.

    Nour was valid for calling out Mido, but I can’t agree with her behavior toward Dounia. I’m surprised more people haven’t noticed how Nour’s attitude toward Dounia and Chafic changed the second he yelled that he loved Dounia, which ended things with all the other women, including her. Like when she first met Chafic, her behavior with him was completely different from how she was with her actual fiancé-from her body language to her facial expressions and laughter, she was clearly interested. I believe that to cope with the rejection, she acted as though she was above Dounia. You could tell she enjoyed every moment Dounia felt insecure in her relationship; where most women would feel empathy, Nour saw it as a chance to kick Dounia down even more. I don’t think Dounia was completely innocent, though-she did become cold and made sly comments toward Nour, which only made things worse. But I still believe Nour played a much bigger role in the problem than a lot of people are willing to admit.

      Yes!! Nour is very manipulative, and hides her intentions well. She handled the ending with Chafic in the pods very well but that did not last. If she was actually done, she would keep it cordial and short just like that but she's doing her best to make Chafic look bad and Dounia also jealous and insecure. The ladies who were reacting here also sided so quickly with Nour that I immediately think they also have hidden motives to kick Dounia down. But that is from my perspective as a guy, I can't judge if Dounia did anything bad in other ladies' eyes.

Or she was so flirty with him after he confronted her for not saying hello- she must be so into him, she's smiling and laughing. I think trying to view Nour in a simplistic way without acknowledging the context, just leads to confusion. Most people would have probably noticed the attitude but it doesn't matter to them because in the context- it's not surprising or unexpected.
      If I was talking to someone and they scream out they love someone else... yes, my attitude will change towards both of them. It doesn't help that even when she's sad Nour seems to have a resting B*tch face. Like, 3/4's of the show even with Hajar she looked kinda superior. She should work on that. But yea, if someone just got rejected for someone else- no, they're not going to be their best self. I didn't like how any of the 3 acted in that scenario but to get childish and gang up on her? Nour seemed pretty honest with Mido in the pods and Mido chose to get engaged with her. Mido chose to stay with Nour after the reveal and bottle up his feelings instead of communicating them with her. Nour was rude to Chafic not greeting him, but being rude is never wrong on a reality show. She had a lively conversation with Chafic, but that's also not wrong on a reality show. Everything else that happened was the result of other people blaming her for their overreactions instead of blamig themselves for their overreactions to their own insecurities.

    First of all the only person who could’ve played the role of Cher Horowitz better than Alicia Silverstone in Clueless, is Dounia… Seriously, if they rebooted Clueless, they could cast her as the lead and call it a documentary.

    My POV on the show as a Muslim Arab woman: I consider myself a Love is Blind junkie, but having an Arabic version is just a disgrace to our Islamic culture. It’s scripted, and the participants come off as amateur actors just playing along. In the Western versions, I can see some people genuinely there for love. But as an Arab who has lived in the Middle East my whole life, I know there’s no way Arabs join these shows to get married. They see it as an acting gig and follow the script. Sure, it worked out for Mohamed and Safa-because Allah had written for them to meet, and the show was just the means. But trust me, no real Arab man would go on a show like this to find a wife. And as a woman who understands the culture, I’d never accept being associated with an Arab man who goes on a show pretending he wants to get married, because he’s certainly not

      Strange, I was thinking just the opposite - this "blind" part is kind of like arranged marriages in the islamic culture where the bride and groom might not have even seen or known each other well before the wedding.
      On the other hand, in this show, they themselves, and not their parents, can make their own choice of a partner. So is this why you think it does not correspond to islamic culture.

    • @WafaYahya
      @WafaYahya หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @ first of all in arranged marriages you get enough time to know the potential as engaged couples, you don’t get married instantly. Also, in arranged marriages the bride and groom themselves have a say on whether they want to get married or not. Forcing someone to get married culture ended hundreds of years ago and it’s conditioned against Islam, so please don’t let western media mislead you i this regard. Now to why I see the show not corresponding to our Islamic culture is that these people come across as too far from our religion, for example hugging and kissing someone before marriage is a sin in our religion, and we see these people hugging and kissing before marriage, wearing extremely revealing clothes is something that doesn’t represent the modesty that our religion calls for, men with tattoos and earnings, there ain’t a single hijabi or at least modestly dressed woman on that show. There are MANY Muslims who dress and behave like the people on the show, and trust me they are a lot now a days, but on the other hand we have modest people who I would have loved to see a representation of on the show. But hey Arabizating this show is part of a plan to losen up morals and values so why would they bring people who represent the core of Islam when the goal is to weaken Islamic morals among people

      There are lots of pictures from the 60s and 70s of e.g Iran, Afghanistan .. where women were wearing miniskirts and bikins. Based on that islam does not necessarily require people to dress conservatively.

It's great that once the men and women who chose each other or were "engaged" did not share the same bedrooms and also wonderful to see the strong family values and respect for parents from their cultures. Aamar isn't wrong for not wanting a wife who chooses to dance, that's his preference. It's like a woman who prefers a husband's profession not be a pilot, cop or Navy seal. That's just a preference or where people draw the line. It's also not wrong for Karma to have her choice to be a dancer. Both Karma and Aamar knew these preferences about each other and perhaps due to their growing feelings for each other had hoped they would either reach a compromise or one party would give in and it would work out somehow. But both had strong convictions that they could not sacrifice. It seems fair to say neither was right or wrong, but they were not on the and going separate ways was the wisest thing to do.

It just felt very manipulative.
    He said it much better at the reunion where he said he learned this from his father and mother and there are many traditional Arab men that feel the same as him. That's completely fine to say as she just won't ever marry any of those men. To say it's a "little thing" when you don't treat it as such is hypocritical and to imply all Arab men are traditional is just manipulative to try to win an argument and I loved what Nour said to Karma after.

      I mean I don't know if I'd go THAT far, but she sure knows how to stir the pot and start shit... She definitely wasn't staying in the show to get to know Mido, that's for sure. And the way she was like "if I was Dounia and a girl like me was around, I'd be insecure, too," like get over yourself, woman! You can't say shit like that and also be like "why is everything so dramatic," YOU ARE THE DRAMA.

    What's VERY weird to me is that people are calling Dounia a pick-me, but they're also ignoring the fact that Nour literally said "feminism ruined us". Like... do y'all have critical thinking skills? QUICKLY give us answers because if Dounia's a pick me, so is Nour. You're all about protecting women, but then in the same breath you tout an anti-feminist as if she's an icon for women to look up to?

      @@nouramouctar817 Again, people have gotta get a good grasp on definitions of "pick-me", girl's girl", and "feminism". Nour is not a girl's girl, she showed her ass as someone who is self centered in a way that exposes her narcissistic tendencies because if people don't like her, then they're jealous of her. What exactly would Dounia be jealous of? Sometimes people don't fuck with someone who happens to be a woman like them, and that doesn't always mean they hate all women. To me, it's a values thing, and if you're saying a woman (Nour) who said feminism got it wrong is a girl's girl, then you believe a woman who said she doesn't believe in equal rights for women is a girl's girl. And that's exactly where we disagree. Nour made it very clear that she just cares about materialistic things on a show that is about finding love without the materialistic/physical hindrances in everyday life, and then she got salty that it resulted in her not finding anyone who wanted to sponsor her financially, because she did not sign up for "love is hypergamy", she signed up for "love is blind". She came on the wrong show, and should go find a man that is okay with that, end of story.

      @ I’m not saying Nour is right or anything like that. I didn’t watch all the episodes because it was boring to me. I watched like 10-20min of each episode and the reunion and during the reunion she stood up for karma etc and other things that’s why I said she’s a girls girl but I could be wrong. I’m just saying that Dounia was also a pick me. She was ganging up with her man to insult someone else and that’s not right. You don’t do that especially on tv.

    Nour was for sure after Dounias man she was getting to know, you can tell because on the coach when Dounia has white long dress and nour has blueish dress, and Dounia asked if she knew him before, Nour said it doesn’t matter because Chafic made his choice he choose you not me, that’s crazy response, normally you’d say Chafic isn’t for me, so that means she still liked him even days in the season still

    Respect for Nour being a confident woman who was honest with what she wants. A woman should be treated like a precious jewel or queen, but the man is also precious and a king...mutuality. I don't see that with Nour. A beautiful intelligent confident woman should also have humility, humbleness, grace, compassion, good manners and elegance which some seem to think Nour has, but if so it is surface level. She carries herself with an air of arrogance and grandiosity more than confidence. She was flirtatious at times and other times spoke to others in condescending and insulting ways, and at the reunion her body language was obviously showing her disinterest with how she looked at her nails, kept stroking her hair, side eyes, and snide comments. If it seemed like she was unfairly negatively targeted, it was more like she knows how to push people's buttons with her words, body language and gas lighting by telling others that they had to work on their self confidence. The other cast members unfortunately got sucked in and reacted to her She got the attention she wanted whether it was positive or negative.

    let’s just be real, Nour was the clear villain. It was no secret she tried to flirt with Chafich, it was no secret she said yes to Mido only for more camera time, it was no secret she treated Mido bad. With that being said in the reunion they take it to far with the comments, but at least they apologized. She never took accountability for her actions, she only made excuses for her mean girl behavior, and it clearly worked. People now sees her as this strong woman that she isn’t. She was just a bully.

      Why do people - and women especially - worship Nour. She is a glorified gold and food digger. She pretends she has 3 degrees. Having a cheap degree does not make you smart. She is a pseudo model. Come on! Good on her if daddy spoiled her. But she clearly looks for man to do the same out of entitled and feeling of superiority . In a context of high cost of living, and where real Muslim / Arab women must step up to support their family financially, here we are admiring a gold digger full of cosmetic procedures so much so she is all puffed up? Really? Do we not have better models !? Our mums for example ? Would they let our dads struggle financially because they are entitled ?.Which means she can only target a very wealthy man. Dubai is full of women just like her. Prettier, classier and less toxic. Good luck to her…I have seen girls like her get a harsh reality check.

    Sorry but I find it CRAZY that we are literally obsessing over giving our 2 cents to which character is good, bad, ugly, pick me, insecure blah blah when there are at least 2 genocides happening in this world. Its nice to have your own entertainment but don't take it to a level where we divert our attention to where it should matter. Sorry but shame on all of us.
