Laura Leighton (Sydney) is actually older than Josie Bissett (Jane) in real life. She did such a convincing job though portraying the naive and somewhat dopey "younger" sister.
I was just a kid when I watched MP, but Sydney/Jane scenes always stuck with me. Does anyone have that scene uploaded where Sydney is trying to ask for Jane's help, but Jane refuses to let her in the apt and both sisters start crying by the outside/inside of the door? Does anyone remember which scene I was talking about?
@@silverdream80 Still its her adoptive sister who loves her and would do anything to protect her. Would you trust a stranger over a sister who lies but still loves you?
Sydney was definitely a piece of work, but Laura Leighton made you love, hate, and empathize with her all at the same time. Jane deserve sooo much better than that. With friends like the MP tenants, who needs enemies? lol
I loved when Sydney had these moments of clarity. Honestly, Laura Leighton was one of the best actresses on the show.
One of the best scenes in the whole series.
Sydney was such a believable character, despite the mistakes she made. I felt bad for her regardless.
Sydney was much better than Jane and not so boring, but very organic in her idiotic mistakes)
Sydney has always been my favorite character.
Michael and Amanda were mine.
This moment and the sister team up to hide the body was my fav of these two characters.
Laura Leighton was fantastic in this role. And Jane/Sydney were the best sister duo on TV!
Agree 💯 %. These two actresses have the best sisterly chemistry I’ve ever seen. It was their scenes together I always looked forward to.

That's right. Josie Bissett born October 5, 1970, and Laura Leighton born July 24, 1968.
Sydney, such quality acting
It's funny how Sydney said Michael "kept pulling her back in" when she was the one always going after him.
IDK, I still love Syd. I have the same hair color too!
Her range is incredible

Although Sydney play's Jane 's little sister, in real life Laura Leighton is older than Josie Bissett by nearly a couple of years.
Jane took her back and then Sydney went back to Michael. Dammit.
I wonder - If Jane and Michael did get back together, what would he have done when Kimberly returned?
Michael, absolute legend.
Blood is thicker than water.
But Jane was adopted.
Blood is thicker than semen
