I loved some of the storefront setups, - creative and beautiful. Here in Vancouver, BC, I feel like I'm the only one with a "nature aquarium" setup, combining dwarf puffers. The only critique I have is that the setups seemed a bit overcrowded. I get that they are a fish store, so they are selling fish hopefully as fast as they are receiving them, but for their permanent displays, I'm not so sure.
Really awesome store! Need something like this where I live. Such an awesome selection of plants and fish. Beautiful setup aquascapes. But my favorite part is that they also have plants for paludarium/terrariums also!
I've never been to Japan But I think when to come to see this beautiful country not only in terms of landscape but also aquarium. Greetings from Poland 🙋 🐠 🐟 👍
Yes I did as well! We do not have stores like this where I come from. There are very few who have not gone out of business yet, because the fish hobby is not very popular here. I love fish though and I am building an aquaponic system so I can grow vegetables over the winter as it is too cold outside to grow anything or have fish outdoors. I would love to see what you think of it when it is finished
Aqua Forest was my favorite so far!!! Please do a part2 if u ever can and go slow thru the fish. It was too hard to take everything in. The fish and how they were set up was unbelievable!!! The colorful guppies were my fav but the plants and other fish were magical. The video on this could have gone on and on...
The fish in the tank with the frogs you couldn’t ID was indostomus paradoxus or crocodilus. Fantastic little fish. They’re a type of stickleback but a lot of people say they remind them of pipe fish. They need lots of very small live foods and are best suited to a species tank or one with very peaceful tank mates that won’t out compete them for food or frighten them too much (take extreme care with tank mate selection) with lots of cover so they can feel secure.
@@RyoWatanabee i def will. I was going to visit Japan last Fall but something came up. And I found out most of the temples and shrines are under renovation. That's one of the reasons why I am visiting Japan. And I'm a sucker for anything japanese. 😁
The amount of time that you gives on showing us the fish... Without moving very fast... Like others youtubers do... Is a good thing about your video... Ko up the good work bro. 👌👍 If you ever visit India.(kolkata). Do let me know... I will be happy to show you around.. All the fresh water Fish.. stores that we have here... And the city as well. 🙂😎👍🙏
5:51 That fish is called the Crocodile Toothpick fish or Indostomus Paradoxus. I have 8 of them and they are lovely, but they love their live food! Be prepared to culture many different microorganisms for them. They love baby daphnia, baby brine shrimp, fairy shrimp, micro-worms, and copepods.
I love your video Ryo, been watching your videos for sometime now... they're all informative and interesting. Hoping for vids from you. Happy fishkeeping...😀
I love watching your videos. You have a passion that I enjoy seeing in someone so young! I like African Cichlids myself, but have often thought of having a planted tank with some Congo Tetras. I'm even starting to take notice of Betta fish.
I think those are pipefish with the dwarf African Frogs. The frogs are great get to be no more than double that size. They will though crawl out of a tank thats uncovered. But!..they can live on beefheart ,pieces of shrimp, sinking tiny pellets. Spawn too. I might try some again.
@@RyoWatanabee i used to have a red crowntail but he passed away 2 years ago, he was very lovely. Anyway, watching your videos definitely makes me want to start setting up my own planted tank😊
What a fantastic store. The fish and plants look amazing. I haven't seen Diamond Eye Neon Tetras before. It's a very well organized shop. Loved your video Ryo.
Wow what a beautiful shop, great job filming too. There’s a tank at the 1.52 minute mark I’m really curious about the plant that’s centre top looks like lettuce. I’ve seen it before but couldn’t catch a name it’s beautiful. Thanks for great vid, liked and subscribed Regards Duzzy from 🇦🇺
Also I liked the underwater view! (Camera in tank). I love visiting the stores with you! If you could move a little bit more slowly that would help us who get motion sickness. 😉
That front tank at 10:30 was my favorite tank. The one with the river stones wood and i think it was just dwarf hair grass. I always wanted to do something simple
I really liked that tank too. I should’ve filmed more of that tank but I ran out of time. You can follow aqua forest on Instagram and see how much that tank has evolved :)
É pena não darem um lugar de topo ao peixe japonês, (peixe arroz).. Escondidos num cantinho, pena não darem a importância que dão aos outros peixes... Clean store, nice.. 👍👍
Try visit our country bro, in Indonesia, there are two central fish market in jakarta, the name is pasar ikan hias jatinegara and pasar ikan hias parung bogor ....there are so many kinds of fish...in there most of the fish for predator fish hobbies or aquascape hobbies is fresh from the farms, so dont worry about the quality and exactly the price is very cheap cause you can sell again in your country wkwkw lol , i swear with it....
What was your favorite thing about this fish store in Tokyo?
My tiny planted aquarium: th-cam.com/video/ISokiMGIlFM/w-d-xo.html
The whole store was amazing.
The 100+ pea puffer fish tank was insanly beautiful.

Beautiful store. The fish and the plants looked so healthy. I wish we had more stores in the US like this one.

Love seeing other countries fish stores. Awesome video Ryo!

Thank you for your support! Yes, I’ve lived in Singapore almost my entire life so I’ve been really interested in Japan fish stores :)
Can't wait to visit some of Tokyo's fish stores soon. Planning a trip to Japan soon. Maybe in 2 yrs.

Interesting too, they are able to run Co2 to all those small tanks?..we are getting engineering now with aquariums.
Yeah, I think all the small tanks with plants get co2
Thank you for this video! I wish where i live there was a shop like this. Every tank in there is a beautiful work of art.
Yes I agree! Beautiful aquariums in this store
Wished I could have gone there when I was stationed in Yokosuka. Was there for 5 years.
Oh cool! Maybe you can visit again in the future
